“It was kind of a last minute booking. I am so glad I booked Isabella to do drop-in visits for my fur babies. She was amazing with them! She took the time to understand how their food was prepared and their day/night routine. Followed all the instructions and made sure they were comfortable with her. I have a reactive/scaredy dog (Patchie) and she warmed up to her eventually. I witnessed how patient Isabella was with her. My cat (Zeni) loved her too. I would definitely recommend her and book her again! Your fur babies will be in good hands ❤️”

“I was so nervous about leaving my two sweet yet rambunctious malinois with someone new. They’re my babies but they’re wacky animals. Thad did great! I am so pleased and relieved. We will definitely be using him again and I will recommend him to others. 💙”

“Jane and her husband are an amazing team! They take care of our fur babies just like we do! They always send plenty of pictures and updates. They always make sure the house is secured as well! I know when Jane and her husband are with our babies they are in the best care!”

About: I have a dog of my own currently. He is a full blood German Shorthair Pointer. I owned my first dog 8 years ago and have loved animals since a child. I do have experience In the Veterinary assistant field. I’m in online college for grooming and veterinary tech. Right now I’m unemployed and I have a son who goes to daycare so I’m naturally free during the weekdays. During the weekend I can manage a babysitter My dog is fed morning and evening. Has a lot of yard space to run as he’s a very energetic breed. I do groom him myself such as clipping his nails and bathing and brushing.
“My dog, Tucker, is very picky about who he likes. Very few people pass his “welcome” test. Rachel passed it from the moment they met. He immediately welcomed her and invited her into our home. Tucker also had separation anxiety, which is why he can’t be left alone, and will sit by the door just waiting for me to come home when other people watch him. He interacted with Rachel and had a great time. Rachel took photos of him playing with a big smile and a wagging tail! Mason was an addition to our home as a puppy recently and she is very attentive to him as well. She makes sure he doesn’t do anything that will injure him and makes sure he is included in play. Rachel has my complete trust with my dogs.”
About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I can remember. Bouviers, Airedale’s and Labs. I now have two small dogs, one being a rescue. Both have huge hearts and bigger personalities. They mean the world to me. My Yorkie has food allergies and trouble with pancreatitis sometimes so he’s on a very strict diet. I’ve always been keen on noticing symptoms or if something is not right with animals. I’m extremely careful about everything I do! I am home most of the time even on most weekends and holidays, so I have a lot of availability! Id love to help you take care of your Furbabies. I have a townhouse with a fenced in yard and I’m so close to the park. I take my dogs for a walk or in their stroller as much as I can.
“Annetta is amazing with our big circus of pups! This was our first time leaving them and Annetta made sure to do multiple drop ins prior to acclimate us and our pups to the change. We are forever grateful for her and will definitely utilize her services again in the near future!”

“Rachael is awesome! She cared for our cat while we were away for almost 2 weeks. Her communication and pictures kept our minds at ease. We knew she was attentive and loving with Jinx, and he clearly loves her because we could hear the purrs in the videos she sent. She followed every instruction given for his care. Rachael is awesome! She cared for our cat while we were away for almost 2 weeks. Her communication and pictures kept our minds at ease. We knew she was attentive and loving with Jinx, and he clearly loves her because we could hear the purrs in the videos she sent. She followed every instruction given for his care. I highly recommend Rachael as a pet sitter.

Reilly was so great with our girl Piper. From our initial meet and greet to the drop ins she was extremely accommodating and understanding, even when we had a hiccup with access to our property. She even left us a little goodie bag for Piper. We will be booking with her again in the future!

Megan watched my two mature cats for five days, and I couldn't have gotten a better person! She followed all instructions, including giving my male his daily insulin shot. She loved on them as if they were her babies. I was given updates at each visit and adorable pictures. If you need her to take care of your fur babies, know that she will be a great sitter. I only wish she weren't leaving our local area next month.

- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
