About: In addition to being a dog owner for eight years, I have a PhD focused on animal behavior. As an adjunct professor, I don't get as much time working with animals as I'd like, so I'm happy to provide care to your darling pets! I work part-time as a biology professor, so outside of the couple hours a day I'm in a classroom my schedule is very flexible. I do live in a remote location, so how often I can care for a pet will depend on driving time. I believe in making sure the animal feels safe and comfortable above all else. I am good with reading body language, and I let the pet set the pace in our interactions. I only practice positive reinforcement for training.
About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I’m working at the kennel still but want more work hours in the week I will keep an eye on them when they are outside as well as if I need to watch them while they’re eating. I will give them love and play all day with them

About: I have been in the veterinary/boarding field for about 8 years. So I have experience working with all sorts of animals (different sizes, ages, and behavior). I can administer any medicines comfortably. I have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, small pets (Guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, etc.), birds, fish, farm animals (goats, chickens, ect.) and frogs. I am also comfortable doing baths, nail trims, and teeth brushing if interested. I currently have three cats and two chihuahuas. I have always loved animals and I am eager to meet so many new clients and their pets! This is a dream of mine and so glad it is becoming a reality. I currently work Monday and Wed. 7:30 to 5 and Friday 7:30 to 3. So I am off Thursdays, Tuesdays and the weekends! My husband also works 3rd shift so he can help out during the day as well. About: I’ve been around animals since a very younger age because of having my dad as a veterinary my whole life. I have also worked as a veterinary assistant for about 2 years before I decided to go towards human medicine and got my nursing license in 2024. I am great with animals and know a lot about handling and care because of my training as a VA! I live alone in an apartment with three of my own kitties.
