About: In addition to being a dog owner for eight years, I have a PhD focused on animal behavior. As an adjunct professor, I don't get as much time working with animals as I'd like, so I'm happy to provide care to your darling pets! I work part-time as a biology professor, so outside of the couple hours a day I'm in a classroom my schedule is very flexible. I do live in a remote location, so how often I can care for a pet will depend on driving time. I believe in making sure the animal feels safe and comfortable above all else. I am good with reading body language, and I let the pet set the pace in our interactions. I only practice positive reinforcement for training.

About: I have always had a dog in my house since I have been a kid. A house is not a home without a dog. I will treat your dog as if he/she were part of my family. I am working part time and want to spend some time with your dog. I work every other weekend as a nurse, and have some free time during the week to check in on your dog while you are away. I can provide walks, medications as needed & play time for your dog. I can groom your dog (if they like it), too! Looking forward to meeting him/her.

About: I was my aunt and uncle’s primary dog walker and sitter from middle school until I moved out for college. I have house-sat twice for a week at a time with no problems. They have a very energetic puppy who was 5 months old and 8 months old respectively when I was house sitting. I mostly have experience with medium-sized dogs, but I’ve socialized with dogs of all sizes. My own dog, Luna, is back home with my parents. We’ve had her for ten years and love her dearly, even when she eats grass. I have a busy class load Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and evenings for walks and doggie dinners. Friday through Sunday are usually very open for me, and I would love to spend my weekends with your dogs! I am away some weekends, usually about once a month. I am fully willing to stay overnight with your dogs any day of the week, even school nights. For full time sitting, I will check in on your dogs every 3-5 hours during the school day. If I need to leave on weekends, I will not be gone for more than four hours at a time unless specifically agreed upon beforehand. I’m fully prepared to be nipped, scratched, and jumped on, but will not encourage this behavior. My general rule for walks is one leash per hand, for both my safety and your dogs’. As a student I don’t have the ability to bring any pets to my own residence, though I do now have a car. I am equipped for both energetic playtime and sleepy snuggles. I do not have any supplies of my own yet, since I’m just getting started here in Normal.

About: As a detail-oriented college student, I bring a high level of responsibility and energy to pet sitting. Whether your dog needs a high-intensity power walk or a calm afternoon of companionship, I’m dedicated to following your care instructions to the letter. I have experience with a variety of breeds and energy levels, ensuring every pup stays on their routine and feels loved. I’m punctual, observant, and ready to treat your pet like my own. I currently work park time at OSF medical center and go to school full-time at Illinois State University, I live in peoria and commute daily. Most days I have class in the morning and work at night but am free in the afternoons. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in Bloomington from 7am-7pm. I currently have an adorable havanese poodle and also had a wheaten terrier in the past. I’m well versed in caring for intelligent, affectionate, and high maintenance breeds. I understand the importance of consistent grooming, mental stimulation, and plenty of lap time! I treat every dog with the same patience and specialized attention I give my own.

About: I do have a cat of my own and a bunny and always dog sit my family dog Capone he’s about two and an half years old! And a pitbull mix, also dog sit Gemma a sharpei, I do have references! I’m very flexible with time for dog sitting or cat sitting I can do Mondays-Fridays! And weekends! I do prefer Zelle or Cash App as a different payment option. I always take care of my cat and bunny in the mornings and always give them my time attention after work and make sure they have fresh water and entertainment and treats!

About: I’m an Anthrozoology graduate student who has a passion for understanding the human-animal bond. I am knowledge, compassionate and caring with pet sitting, dog walking and am certified in dog and cat training. I have enjoyed training puppies and adult dogs over the years, and have pet sit for cats, hamsters and ferrets over the years as well. I look forward to meeting your baby! I currently go to school full time online, so pet sitting, training or dog walking will allow me to gain experience in the animal field while attending school and caring for your pets. My schedule is fairly open and flexible. If scheduling conflicts occur, a notification will be sent. I live in a townhouse that is extremely kid friendly and safe for your pets. I only take my dog outside on a leash and she stays indoors for the remainder of the day. I am comfortable in the guardians home, crate training or crating your dog if needed, or letting them play outside or at a dog park, if desired. I love to spend time playing with your pets, regardless of how long I am there. We can chill on the counch and relax or play fetch, and maybe try a few curds and tricks while I’m there!

About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I’m working at the kennel still but want more work hours in the week I will keep an eye on them when they are outside as well as if I need to watch them while they’re eating. I will give them love and play all day with them

About: Hi, I'm KeAndra! I'm a former veterinary assistant/vet tech, so your pets are in experienced, loving hands. I offer boarding in my home, daycare, dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet transport to vet appointments and ER trips. You'll get daily pictures and updates so you always know your babies are happy. I serve the Bloomington-Normal area and surrounding towns. New clients get their first boarding night for $38 (regularly $40/night). I work in VETMED at a local Veterinary clinic part time . So that gives me tons of extra time during the week. I also do drop in during my work day as well. !! I have a fenced in yard and a very nice fur baby to keep your fur baby company. About: I have been in the veterinary/boarding field for about 8 years. So I have experience working with all sorts of animals (different sizes, ages, and behavior). I can administer any medicines comfortably. I have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, small pets (Guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, etc.), birds, fish, farm animals (goats, chickens, ect.) and frogs. About: i have taken care of several breeds of dogs from the bichon’s to mastiffs! I have a beagle/shar pei mix who is 12 years old and a pit bull who is 2. We have 4 cats and I am an animal lover through and through! i am a stay at home mom of 2 and so my availability is open typically very flexible!. Up until now I have done this strictly in after work/school hours, but now have much more availability and hope to be able to branch out to more families! I will always respect the home of my client and their animals. We will go over any wants and needs and you don’t have to worry about anything else while you are gone! I am a Rover user myself and understand how important it is to feel stress free and in good hands when you are gone.

About: I have 2 cats of my own and my family has 4 dogs and 3 cats. I have spent my entire life caring for pets and I’d love to care for yours! I am currently employed full time, but my weekends are free. My schedule allows me to be available after 4:30pm during weekdays.
