“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was young, family and friends have allowed me to take care of them. I enjoy taking them on walks, petting them and giving the attention they deserve, and taking care of them. I will treat them just as you would and offer extended stays. For stays longer than 5 days, most I have done is a month and a half as of present, you will return to a clean home 😊 I am strong and able to keep my stability while walking dogs, am able to let them out, feed them, give baths, and offer other services for the home like my interior design skills which is another side business, that can be spoken about, if interested.

About: I have been around animals my whole life, and I have done dog and cat sitting a few times over the years for neighbors or friends. I’ve had cats and dogs in my home since 2014, and I am very comfortable around both. I currently have a full time job; I work primarily in the mornings with evening shifts thrown in here and there. I don’t do much outside of that, so I am pretty available otherwise. I want to keep all pets feeling comfortable, following their routines/schedule, and keeping them company (within their boundaries). BOARDING: Your dog comes to stay with me at my house from your drop off time till your pick up time scheduled by you. This is a overnight stay so please bring all items and food for your pets to make them feel comfortable during their stay with us. Disclaimer: I strive to provide a safe environment for all dogs that stay with us. In order to do so I require proof of vaccination upon the initial meet & greet. That needs to include: Rabies Distemper Bordetella All dogs must be spayed/neutered. Also when booked and dropped off I will recommend you leave me with a back up person to contact in the event that any problems arise during the stay and you are out of town. DROP IN VISITS: I come to your house to visit with your dog. What is done is dependent upon what you set up and what you need. This could be just checking in to play, go on walk, feed, or let out to potty. This will all be determined upon what you need. Note- This doesn't include overnight stay in your house. Note- Two methods of entry are required to prevent lock-outs. DOG MEET AND GREETS: I require dog introductions be done ahead of time for first visits with me that entail staying at my house with me as I know dogs will be dogs. I will make a time that works for both of us to come to my home and have play date and see how it goes. I will also come to your house for a meet and greet if you schedule drop in visits, walks, etc. To allow for proper introductions and to make sure it is a good fit. About my pets- All of my dogs and cats are fully vaccinated and on heartworm medication and flea and tick. Proof of my dogs vaccinations available if requested. Pet Health and Vaccinations: - All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and in good health. - Please provide proof of rabies vaccination upon initial meet and greet. - If your pet shows signs of illness or injury, I will notify you and seek veterinary care if necessary. Any associated expenses will be your responsibility. Emergency Situations: - In case of an emergency involving your pet, I will make every effort to contact you immediately. - If I am unable to reach you, I am authorized to seek veterinary care as deemed necessary by a professional. - You will be responsible for any expenses related to emergency veterinary care not covered by Rover.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

About: In addition to being a dog owner for eight years, I have a PhD focused on animal behavior. As an adjunct professor, I don't get as much time working with animals as I'd like, so I'm happy to provide care to your darling pets! I work part-time as a biology professor, so outside of the couple hours a day I'm in a classroom my schedule is very flexible. I do live in a remote location, so how often I can care for a pet will depend on driving time. I believe in making sure the animal feels safe and comfortable above all else. I am good with reading body language, and I let the pet set the pace in our interactions. I only practice positive reinforcement for training.

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was a baby and grew up visiting my grandpa’s farm in the country! My family also had cats, and I had four fish growing up! I love taking care of my family’s dog whether it be walking, exploring, or just cuddling and petting! I have had experience with all types of pets, from super energetic to ones that would sit on the couch all day long if they could! I have experience staying overnight for multiple days if needed with your pets, or dropping in a couple times a day as needed! I also love taking walks!

About: Through out my life I've had several different furry friends (and fish!). About: I have owned dogs since I was 8 years old! From raising two puppies to housing a friends dog temporarily, I have acquired experience with training dogs as small as french bulldogs to as big as pitbulls! I have a passion for animals and truly treat them as family. I work part-time in the summer at a retail store where the shifts are 4 hours (but with enough notice I can request off and be available for all your pups needs!) I am well trained in various routes of medicine administration as a result and love every dog I meet. I just want to be able to make a difference for the pets and their families within my community. I do currently work a full time schedule as a veterinary technician, and study part time, so I generally have a rather busy schedule. I am well-disciplined, however, and manage my time around all of my commitments appropriately, and your furry friends hold a high priority for me. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
About: I adore being around animals and have had many years pf practice with taking care of friends pets. We have also always had pets in our family growing up. I work part time as a wedding photographer so Im usually very flexible with my schedule especially during the week. I also enjoy walking so Im also available for that. I will only walk outside with your pet if they have a leash or a fenced protected area. I won't them alone anytime. I will provide patience and love to them as if they were my own.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats, all of my life. I was a police officer and Sheriff for 32 years. I’ve dealt with most all animals. I love them all!! I’m currently a retired sheriff. I work part time for American Airlines about 20 hours per week in Bloomington, and working on a license to sell real estate as a part-time job in Livingston County. And I have been a police officer, since I was 18 years old. I am very trustworthy and honest. I’ve grown up around many types of animals and feel comfortable around them.

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
