About: In addition to being a dog owner for eight years, I have a PhD focused on animal behavior. As an adjunct professor, I don't get as much time working with animals as I'd like, so I'm happy to provide care to your darling pets! I work part-time as a biology professor, so outside of the couple hours a day I'm in a classroom my schedule is very flexible. I do live in a remote location, so how often I can care for a pet will depend on driving time. I believe in making sure the animal feels safe and comfortable above all else. I am good with reading body language, and I let the pet set the pace in our interactions. I only practice positive reinforcement for training.
About: I adore being around animals and have had many years pf practice with taking care of friends pets. We have also always had pets in our family growing up. About: I make sure to do all the activities that your pup likes to do to keep them occupied. I feel leaving them. Home is better for their mental state than dropping them off somewhere where they don’t know where they are. Lots of loving and all of my attention goes to the babies while I’m there. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
