About: In addition to being a dog owner for eight years, I have a PhD focused on animal behavior. As an adjunct professor, I don't get as much time working with animals as I'd like, so I'm happy to provide care to your darling pets! I work part-time as a biology professor, so outside of the couple hours a day I'm in a classroom my schedule is very flexible. I do live in a remote location, so how often I can care for a pet will depend on driving time. I believe in making sure the animal feels safe and comfortable above all else. I am good with reading body language, and I let the pet set the pace in our interactions. I only practice positive reinforcement for training.

About: I adore being around animals and have had many years pf practice with taking care of friends pets. We have also always had pets in our family growing up. I work part time as a wedding photographer so Im usually very flexible with my schedule especially during the week. I also enjoy walking so Im also available for that. I will only walk outside with your pet if they have a leash or a fenced protected area. I won't them alone anytime. I will provide patience and love to them as if they were my own.

About: I make sure to do all the activities that your pup likes to do to keep them occupied. I feel leaving them. Home is better for their mental state than dropping them off somewhere where they don’t know where they are. Lots of loving and all of my attention goes to the babies while I’m there. I currently do not work and my schedule can be made mostly around the needs of the employer. My son is at school 8-3 but he would be willing to help with animals also. We have a fenced in yard but also go for walks. I have no problem with walking multiple times a day or whatever other needs the pet has.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats and honestly can’t remember a time when I didn’t have pets in my home, besides now since I moved out for college! I worked in a pet shop for two years, where I gained experience caring for animals and learning about their needs and behaviors. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience dog and cat sitting for friends, family, and others, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, providing exercise, giving lots of attention, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. As a CNA and nursing student, I am CPR certified and understand the importance of responsibility, patience, and attentive care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience. I also would love to do any around the house chores that you might need done while I’m stopping in to see your pet or while I’m house sitting! Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and staying active. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I also have reliable transportation, making it easy for me to travel to your home and provide dependable care when you need it. Whether your pet needs a quick visit, a long walk, or overnight companionship, I’m happy to help. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, routines, and household rules to ensure your pet feels secure and cared for. As a CNA and CPR-certified caregiver, I understand the importance of attention to detail and remaining calm in unexpected situations. I believe communication is key, so I love sending photo updates and messages during visits to keep owners informed and give them peace of mind. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pet while providing a safe, loving, and reliable experience every time.

About: I’ve taken great care of animals for a very long time. I treat animals like they are my family. I’m always there to care for them and give them the love and care they deserve I would like this to be my full time job. I have a lot of time through out the day and week. I’m usually always free. I have 3 cats of my own. I always make sure they have food and fresh water and would do the same for anyone else’s animals.

About: I have had pets since I was a kid, and all through my life I have had some sort of animal. Big or small, I have tons of experience with all kinds. Now, I have 14 fur/feather/scale babies of my own and I am going to IVCC to getting my associates in science and majoring in wildlife bio. I am out of school for the summer and looking for anything really. Full time or part time. And any time of the night or day is fine with me. I have 14 pets, no dogs or cats, but I did have plenty of them growing up. Right now we have 6 birds, three different kinds, ((3 of them are house ducks)) a snake and the rest are smaller animals rabbit, piggy's, ferret etc. The rabbit is free roam, the birds and other animals all have their own free roam/fly time. Our house is on a set schedule as soon as the sun peeks through, lol, the ducks let us know, it's time to get the day started. Due to us having this many kiddos, we do plan long days ahead of time so everything is adjusted properly so everyone is taken care of. I am no stranger to getting dirty or dealing with any type of mess. Depending on the weather, we are outside as much as possible with a number of them and always trying to find new ways to keep their little minds engaged.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats, all of my life. I was a police officer and Sheriff for 32 years. I’ve dealt with most all animals. I love them all!! I’m currently a retired sheriff. I work part time for American Airlines about 20 hours per week in Bloomington, and working on a license to sell real estate as a part-time job in Livingston County. And I have been a police officer, since I was 18 years old. I am very trustworthy and honest. I’ve grown up around many types of animals and feel comfortable around them.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

“This was only my 2nd appointment with Glen. He was on time and Diesel seems to like him. This helps me out so much to have someone walk him on Thursdays. I walk him everyday! Thursdays are difficult as I like to run my errands before the weekend.”

About: Pet owner for 10+ years Used to farm animals and herding breed dogs! When I was a kid I would walk dogs for our local shelter, handling all kinds of dogs of different sizes and temperaments. I can provide 24/7 attentive care for your pet! I am only home for evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday but my Fiancé is home during the daytime :) I have a very large fenced in yard for your dogs to run and play! My dog Guppy can play with your pet or be kept separate. I can feed your dog in the crate if necessary. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as they are potty trained. We do have a cat in the home, who can be separated to a different area of the house if necessary.

About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. My home is set up for animals but I am also willing to provide services in your home. For care in my home, I have a large yard in a park-like setting. My house is set up for pets with limited carpet, doggie steps to lay on a comfy couch, windows to watch squirrels and keep an eye on the mailman. I am also available to love your pets in your home.
