As a college studen who does online courses as a Pre-Vet student, caring for pets fits seamlessly into my daily rhythm. About: My name is Ben and I live with my wife, Laura, in Canaan. I work from home and we are both available as needed throughout the day to provide close supervision, companionship and outdoor time for your pet. We grew up with a lot of pets, and have always loved being around dogs especially. We have had several Saint Bernards in the past and are comfortable with large dogs. Whatever the shape or size, we look forward to getting to know your pet and giving them the best care we can provide. We are happy to host and are flexible to travel, both weekdays and weekends. Looking forward to hearing from you! Availability 7 days/week with flexible work hours. Can travel to your home and stay overnight if needed as well as take out for walks during the day. Our house is spacious and comfortable with a large yard and surrounding areas to take for walks. Will follow instructions carefully to best accommodate different needs.

About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for over 6 years and have been a pet owner most of my life. I have had a hospice dog and have a soft spot for senior animals. I currently have a Siberian husky, a husky/shepard mix and 2 cats! I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available as needed. Animals are a significant part of my life and I look forward to helping you and your family. I am available for dog walks, drop ins, or pet sitting. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats as part of our family. They are definitely spoiled but also well trained. I take pet care very seriously, every animal deserves respectful and loving care. My dogs require a lot of activity due to their breeds which has given me a lot of experience with high energy, high needs dogs.

About: I grew up on a small hobby farm in Vermont and have always had animals around. In high school and college, I volunteered at High Horses Therapeutic Riding Program in Sharon, Vermont and developed a love for horses. Whether it be your cat or your cow, I am excited to meet and care for your animals and home! About: Grew up with a dog ever since I was one, a sweet golden retriever and loved her all her life, help dog/cat sit and dog walk with my sister between her and my new rescue, also grew up with my grandmothers cat, a cat of my own and now a family cat My fully online school schedule gives me a lot of flexibility, allowing me to be available for daytime care, drop-ins, and walks. It also makes overnight stays easy to accommodate when needed! With a large, open backyard, your pet will have plenty of space to run, play, and burn off energy. I provide toys such as balls and use a secure lead setup for safe outdoor fun, plus we have a long, quiet, hilly road that’s perfect for walks. Inside, your pet will find a cozy, welcoming environment with plenty of spots to relax—especially in our spacious, carpeted living room.

About: We (myself, my nine-year old daughter, and our beagle) love to be active; truck rides to shady spots of water on hot days, to snowshoeing fun on trails in the winter (short walks around the neighborhood and “brain puzzles” take the cake for rainy days). We have learned new tricks and training skills through classes with a certified trainer. I am by no means a decorated professional, but I am educated and experienced with dogs. No more than one family of dogs at a time for services (up to 2 dogs). I prefer to keep our daily group small, and more one-on-one. Whether I’m there to hang out with your pup, or to take them out and about for the day, potty breaks are a must. If the weather is nice, we may spend our entire time outside! Please let me know if my beagle is okay to come with, or if your dog would do best without a four-legged friend.

With my nursing background, I’m attentive, reliable, and comfortable administering medications when needed, with regular updates.

About: Dogs bring such joy! I believe they are gifts and we are lucky to have them in our lives. We currently have a spoiled Australian Shepherd. I have learned so much as an Aussie mom, and love sharing helpful info with other dog parents, especially if they have a herding breed. I love all dogs, no exceptions! They deserve to be spoiled and appreciated for who they are. I offer pet care in your home, where your pet is most comfortable. I also have my own pet care insurance, and am pet CPR and First Aid certified. I work full time in the upper valley and have a flexible schedule that allows me to work from home several days a week. If you have WiFi, I’m happy to work from your home to accommodate full-time snuggles and care for your pet while you’re away! I believe that dogs are part of the family.
