“We left our two older dogs with Joseph, worrying that a regular kennel may not be a good idea (they’re about 14). Even with occasional anxiety, both dogs appeared to acclimate well. Joseph sent daily updates with photos, which was great since we always worry about how they handle being away. Joseph was flexible about pickup and drop off, and was always great with communication. We absolutely feel comfortable leaving our two old boys with him again in the future.”
“Greta once again was absolutely amazing with watching our pup! He came back absolutely exhausted and happy from all the play time! We will continue to use Greta, could not recommend her enough!”

“Michelle was terrific! Ellie stayed with her for Thanksgiving weekend and came home happy and tired! She was well-loved and Michelle kept us updated with pics and videos… and was super responsive and proactive before and during the entire experience. Thank you Michelle!”

“Steve is awesome! He’s so nice and really knows his stuff when it comes to dogs. He sent lots of photos and kept us updated throughout the stay, which made me feel great while Mango was with him. Mango had a really good time and came home happy and tired. We’ll definitely be booking with Steve again!”

“Cara is the best dog sitter. Our Goldendoodle loved her stay so much, which I could tell by the daily pictures sent and communication from Cara. We look forward to more visits when/if we travel in the future!”

“Emily is kind and caring. Funny too! We were impressed by her thoughtfulness with the humans as well -- thank you for the photos and the updates. My old dog's first stay with Emily will not be her last.”

“Ashley, Shayne and their boys are such a wonderful family. Ruby had a wonderful time with them this weekend. I can truly tell how much their care about their animals and treated Ruby just the same for the 4 days she was with them. Their fenced yard is perfect for pups to play in and we felt very comfortable that Ruby would be safe in their home. Ashley responded to any message before and during Ruby's stay promptly, and sent me photos, videos and updates throughout the day while we were away. I could tell Ruby was having a great time playing with their dog, Axel (he's such a sweetie), and she's come home suitably tired! I honestly can't fault Ashley and her family and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you!”

“Diana and Jeff were very accommodating. The meet and greet went well and even though they already had a boarder they made sure their time was focused for my two dogs. Communication was key in coordination for both sides and Diana was extremely flexible (Thanks so much). When I picked my dogs up they were properly harnessed, fed and ready to go. I definitely recommend this home of dog lovers for your fur babies.”
“Enzo can be a shy guy and a little nervous but Lauren did everything to make him feel comfortable including checking in with me, which I truly appreciate. He came home happy and tired and we would use Lauren again!”

“Hannah saved my wedding day!! Our scheduled dog sitter (not from Rover) cancelled on us two days before our out-of-state wedding, and Hannah not only filled in last minute, she might be our pups favorite person💖 She is incredibly warm, they took to her immediately, and we were so grateful 🙏 Got lots of photos of them just relaxing around her and were able to enjoy our wedding day stress free. Thanks so much, Hannah!!”

“It's been 2 years since Moxie stayed with Brittanyerin. When we picked her up she was happy to see us, of course, but calm and not at all stressed. This is the only place where we'll board our dog!”

“Jessica did a superb job! Can't recommend her highly enough. She was fantastic with our dog, taking her on lots of hikes and other adventures. And she was a very thoughtful and responsive communicator. It was a pleasure working with her from start to finish. We're lucky to have such a wonderful dog sitter in our area!”

“Five stars hands-down. Isabella and her family took amazing care of our dog. She sent us tons of pics, and it was clear that Potato, for that weekend, was considered a member of her family. It was a bonus that she came home super tired and played-out ?. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great home-away-from-home for their dog. Thank you Isabella!”

“Wonderful couple. My dog, Willow, had such a great time with them and their fur baby, Emily, I don't think she missed me at all. Lol. I'm so happy I found someone I trust to care for Willow when I travel.”

“Kevin and Inez took SUCH great care of my senior dog while we were visiting Woodstock. I am very nervous about leaving him with others as he usually comes everywhere with me and is older but they made sure to update me with tons of photos and videos. I could tell that Gatsby felt right at home and was very comfortable at their house and with their dogs. I would definitely use them recommend them to anyone looking for pet care in Vermont! Thank you!!!!”
About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I’m a full time teacher on summer break, so have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I am home most of the day with occasional trips to the gym/store. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. I do have a 1 year old energetic Golden Retriever who is very friendly (maybe too friendly for some dogs) and a 2 year old Persian kitty who is skeptical of new animals
About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.

“Benjamin and Jaime did an absolutely wonderful job at caring for our two dogs while I was away. I could tell from the adorable photos that both our dogs were totally comfortable and happy spending time with them. The communication was superb and we will definitely be using Benjamin and Jaime again!”

“Jessica was a wonderful sitter for my cats, Puck and Tita. Everything was taken care of so beautifully. The cats were looked after and the house was looked after as well. Thank you, Jessica, Puck and Tita and I look forward to having you back!”

“We cannot say enough positive things about Valerie! We had a few rotations of sitters to cover the several weeks we were gone (family and a neighbor), and Valerie was definitely the most experienced of them all. Our one cat takes a pill daily, and while he takes it just fine for his mom, he wasn't taking it for the sitters. Valerie came up with safe, creative ways to get him to take his pill. She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative. We'd highly recommend her if you want peace of mind that someone experienced and compassionate is taking care of your fur children!”

About: If my rates are an obstacle in caring for your pet then I’m happy to provide a sliding scale and have a discussion upon request. Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I have basic experience with dog training and I personally believe that dogs thrive in structured and predictable environments. I love exercising and having fun with dogs, too! I have availability to help you with your pup or cat! Depending on the health of your pet I will socialize and exercise your pet's body and mind and of course offer any snuggles that are welcomed. I love exercising animals as much as it is tolerated by them. I currently work per diem as a staff nurse in Lebanon NH which gives me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. I am happy to abide by your house rules and expectations for your pet(s). I enjoy walks to dog parks, trails, playing in fenced yards and practicing obedience and tricks!
“Caitlin was prompt and attentive. I appreciated the daily photos. Max looked relaxed and content. It was great to have our senior kitty looked after in our home, since he doesn’t like to travel at all.”

“Katie did an awesome job looking after my cats while I was away! She was super sweet, and both kitties were well taken care of—even my shy cat came out a few times while she was dropping in to check on them throughout the week!”

“Ben is wonderful! We always get a note on how the visit went and how our pups did. We’ve called on Ben numerous times, sometimes at the last minute. Thanks, Ben for taking good care of our pups.”

Im doing babysitting right now but can house sit whenever and can be with the dogs/cats whenever. I am always free to take them out whenever needed. I will watch pets in your home and or/ stay in your home for house sitting overnight. I will keep them safe and follow any rules.
“Hariala was very responsive and timely in communicating. She took good care of our cat during holiday and the cold storms, and helped us get food refill when the feeder was running low. Excellent sitter!”

“Maria provided such great care of my cats. Her love of and enthusiasm for cats is so clear, and she wanted to make sure my cats had a good experience while she was visiting (eg asking about what specifically they enjoy doing for play during visits). She gave detailed information about each visit. I had great peace of mind being on vacation knowing she was caring for them!”

About: I have taken care of my sisters cat on numerous occasions. I have also extensively experience with an older cat where I watched him and his dog brother :) I love animals and love to spend as much time as I can with them!

“Sue took great care of Rocky while we were away. He's an old cat and he worries a lot when we're gone, but he looked happy and relaxed when we returned. The house looked great too! I'll definitely book Sue again.”

About: Growing up, I have never been without a pet to come home to. I truly believe pets have the ability to alter someone’s life, and thus deserve the best care. I can assure you I will treat your pets with utmost care and love. I ran my own pet sitting business in high school, and am very comfortable with new dogs and cats. “Kevin watched our pug for two days while we attended the Quechee Balloon Festival. He was incredibly flexible with our plans and let us stay out much longer than originally planned. Our pup had a good time, evidenced by the 2nd day when we dropped him off and he ran right to Kevin! The other dogs were a bit noisy and inquisitive but settled right down so it wasn’t a problem. Kevin sent a few photos and video which we much appreciated. If we were in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave our dog with Kevin once again.”

“Susan and John were great! We have a senior dog and a puppy and both felt right at home with them during their daycare visit. Thank you both for being our pup’s home away from home while we were on vacation and couldn’t take them with us on our day trip!”

“Ann was amazing with our puppy! She treated her like her own with all the love and attention we give her at home. Both days when we picked her up she was exhausted from all the fun she had with Ann and her dogs. Will definitely be contacting Ann again for puppy sitting! ?♥️”
“Brittanyerin was a great sitter for our dog. It was a last minute request as we were camping and doing some non dog friendly activities. She was super flex, and our dog definitely felt at home. She has lots of land and a spacious, clean home. We recommend!”

“Sarah and Ben are terrific hosts! Cooper felt right at home, loved playing with their sweet dog Bean, and had plenty of room to roam in their big backyard. We hope to visit again soon. Highly recommend!”
“Soleil had a nice time at Hailey’s home! She offered doggy day care services and was very caring and communicative as a host. She had a very sweet dog named Misty who was also welcoming and got along well with my pup. Lovely property with plenty of space for dogs to roam.”

“Christy was wonderful, and my dog (Alice) absolutely adored her! Christy is communicative, friendly, and has an obvious love for the dogs in her care -- Alice will definitely be back!!”

“Megan was super-enthusiastic, clear, and interested in having the best possible interactions and relationship with Boo. At every step, I was reassured by her approach and the way things went. In my experience, you are in good hands when you entrust your pet to Megan, and in my case that adds up to peace of mind when it just wasn’t possible to be there myself.”

About: We (myself, my nine-year old daughter, and our beagle) love to be active; truck rides to shady spots of water on hot days, to snowshoeing fun on trails in the winter (short walks around the neighborhood and “brain puzzles” take the cake for rainy days). We have learned new tricks and training skills through classes with a certified trainer. I am by no means a decorated professional, but I am educated and experienced with dogs. No more than one family of dogs at a time for services (up to 2 dogs). I prefer to keep our daily group small, and more one-on-one. Whether I’m there to hang out with your pup, or to take them out and about for the day, potty breaks are a must. If the weather is nice, we may spend our entire time outside! Please let me know if my beagle is okay to come with, or if your dog would do best without a four-legged friend.
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs as long as I can remember. And my experience goes out further than just cats and dogs. I’ve helped my parents take care of the animals on their little homestead for 3.5-4 years. I took care of ducks, chickens, pigs, goats, and more. I’m currently not working and I’m free Tuesday-Saturday. I’m available in the mornings/mid afternoon. I can do night hours only on Thursdays, fridays, and Saturdays. The people that i currently live with have a huge yard and 2 friendly dogs, one that has a runner hooked up outside and the other one gets to free roam. When I am in the clients home, I will make sure their fur baby is well taken care off and has everything they need. And potentially clean up when I leave.

“Althea was wonderful with our lab. Her location with access to trails and swimming is ideal. She provided frequent photos and videos so we could see our dog happily enjoying playing and hiking or just relaxing with her two friendly dogs. Our dog is already asking us when we are going away again so she can go back to Althea's place.”
