“Margaret was able to help us last minute with house sitting for our dog, Bruin. She showed up when she said she was, she was great with updates & pictures and he was happy. We plan to use her again!”

“Adams was house sitting with our two dogs for 3 days. Everything was great, we called him every day to check on them and he gave us detailed reports, also sent pictures. We would definitely want to be his repeat customers.”

“When Ben came for his meet and greet, right away he got down on the floor with our 16+ year old 4 pound dog and she moved right in to meet him. He has that magic touch where she can immediately tell that he loves animals. He lights up when talking about animals. He loves them all and seems to also be attracted to helping animals with problems. As our little one is older, she can't hear and also has some vision problems. She moves slowly, but he was very willing to take her for a walk and she loved it. He took photos of the walk. I liked Ben so much that I have hired him for other dates with my dog. I highly recommend him.”

About: I have a dog and a cat, both are very friendly. I trained my puppy from 8 weeks old, and he is now a very sweet and calm 3 year old little man. I love dogs of all kinds, and many friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they are away. I have taken several training courses with my pup and can help teach your dog some basic skills too! I am a graduate student so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Typically I can work from home part of the day, and I rarely work weekends. Pet care is already part of my routine, and typically includes a morning, afternoon, and evening walk, potty breaks as needed, and plenty of playtime. I have a friendly dog who loves to play, but will match your dogs energy. My 11 year old cat prefers to be left alone and will likely not interact much. I am happy to bring my pup for playtime/walks at your house, or leave him at home if your dog prefers solo walks. I live in a two bedroom condo by myself, there are plenty of walking paths around, but no real yard. I don't like to do dog parks, as I have had some issues with aggressive dogs in the area and don't feel safe there, but love to take my dog on little hikes at places like Red Rocks and Shelburne Bay.

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals my whole life. I raised my own dog from puppy to 15 year old senior citizen and have been taking care of my friend’s and family’s dogs and cats for years. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk or a trail run, or your cat needs company while you’re away, I bring the same care and attentiveness to pet care that I bring to the hospital. I understand how important your pets are to your family, and I’m here to treat them like my own. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following special diets, and maintaining a calm presence with shy or anxious pets. I currently have a flexible academic schedule and I work hard to fit in pet care throughout the day. I am almost always available first thing in the morning and in the afternoons/evenings and my mid-day availability varies by academic term From walks to house-sits, I follow the simple tenants of 1)“treat every animal as if they were my own” and 2) “treat everyone’s homes with the utmost respect”. Pet owners know best what their animals need so my top goal is providing whatever care that may be, safely, and in the environment that best suits each pet and owner.

“Elizabeth was wonderful. She answered any questions I had and asked anything she needed/was unsure of. My dog Lexi was very happy when we returned and everything was great! Highly recommend!”

“Ariana really came through for us when our usual sitter became unavailable at the last minute! Our dog and cat really seemed to like her and she kept the house neat and tidy during her stay. We really appreciated how much she kept in touch with us and shared photos of our happy critters. If the need arises, we will be happy to hire her again.”

I consider myself very caring with great attention to detail. I want you to know that your pet is in the best possible hands with me! I will will give them lots of love, pets and play time and follow your instructions verbatim! My schedule is fairly flexible, especially in the evenings! I can do drop in visits or house sit. I know my way around many trail systems here in the upper valley and I’m always happy to take your dog for a hike!

Lydia S.
“I have never met a more kind and caring individual in my life. I know that sounds quite extreme, but SOMEONE has to fill that role of people that we know in life, and Lydia is literally that person in mine. She seems to be a whisperer of all strays, misfits and displaced people and animals. Whether cats, bunnies, dogs, fishes, people, she exhibits no hesitation in giving love and care and kindness. She is well organized and physically fit and patient and is a wonderful and responsible carer; making sure everyone is well exercised, fed and watered. She also has no qualms about giving loving massages to even the dirtiest and stinkiest of fur babies. Calm of spirit and nature, Lydia is not just a caregiver, she acts as family and it was a pleasure to adopt and have been adopted by her in that capacity. She is a true gem!”

Jamie L.

Whether it's taking them for walks or providing care while you're away, Jamie is incredibly reliable and attentive, always keeping your pet's best interests at heart. What sets Jamie apart is their ability to connect with animals in a way that’s both calming and reassuring. They understand that each pet has its own personality and needs, and they approach every situation with patience and respect. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, Jamie is the perfect choice. You can trust them completely with your pet’s care!”
