“Diego was fantastic with Aya, and this was our first time using him. What set him apart was how he communicated while we were away — genuine, detailed updates instead of just check-in photos. When Aya’s face and paws started acting up, he didn’t just mention it and move on. He went deep: researched remedies, explained exactly what he was using (ear solution, fish oil, medicated wipes and shampoo) and why, and even drew on what worked for his own dog’s similar issues. That kind of initiative and care is rare. He also went above and beyond with things like cleaning up and doing laundry without being asked. When we picked Aya up, she was noticeably calm and clearly had a great time — you could just tell she’d been well looked after. We felt completely at ease traveling knowing she was with him, and we’re already planning to have him as her regular sitter going forward. Highly recommend Diego to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your dog like their own.”

I recently said goodbye to my beloved Springer Spaniel after 15 wonderful years together, and caring for him throughout every stage of his life gave me a deep appreciation for the love, patience, and attention dogs deserve. From energetic walks and playtime to quiet companionship and the extra care senior dogs need, I understand how important it is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and secure. I’m dependable, attentive, and respectful of your home. I live in Charlotte’s SouthPark neighborhood, have reliable transportation, and especially enjoy providing overnight care so your dog can remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I’ll follow your dog’s routine, provide plenty of affection, and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. My goal is simple: to give your dog the same love and attention I’d want someone to give my own. I am free most days except Friday around 4PM. My weeks/weekends are very flexible. I just moved and can’t have a pet in my current apartment so, I love to help you with yours. I don’t usually care for pets in my own home being that I have an apartment with no yard. Which is why my services are set to housesitting and drop in visits.

About: I took care of my former roommates’ chihuahua and standard poodle during the pandemic. I enjoyed exercising at the dog park, bonding time, and connections with pet owners. I’m truly excited to care for your furry friends as my 3 year old and I love being around dogs! Please note: For drop-ins I will walk, feed, and play with your dog(s). For cats, I will feed, change the litter and play with them. I will only board dogs and cats that are small child friendly and will consider house sitting dogs that may not be as friendly if there is a crate and a gate available to keep my child separated. I am currently available full time to care for your pet needs! If you would like to set up a meet and greet prior to committing, we can meet at a local park. I have an open and spacious yard and can easily crate your dog inside if needed. We will walk in the neighborhood at least every 3 hours and I will log all bathroom activity for drop ins.
