House Sitting in Emsworth

“I usually use Rover's boarding option, however, I wasn't able to find anyone in close proximity during this busy summer. With this being my first time using the house sitting service, I was nervous about leaving my dog and opening my home to someone I had just barely met. However, Mahle made this experience less stressful. We established a meet and greet a few days after I initially requested the days I needed a sitter for my dog. She responded promptly to my messages and showed up right on time. She was friendly, interacted and played with Koa as we discussed Koa's schedule and personality. When we were away, I did have to message her to see how everything was going and she responded quickly with updates of my dog and a picture. She was very respectful of my property and most importantly I came home to a happy dog. I feel more at ease using this Rover option and will definitely ask Mahle if she can sit for my dog in the future. Thank you, Mahle!!”

“Brianna was fantastic! She stayed in my home from Thursday until Sunday to watch my nine-year-old Vizsla and three year-old cat. Not only was she extremely responsive, but proactive about communication as well! She sent photos and kept me informed of things going on at my house like bad weather that caused a power outage and my lawn care company coming to cut the grass. She also kept my home extremely clean during her stay, honestly going above and beyond in several ways! My dog can be quite needy, and Brianna was not phased by that. She made me feel very comfortable about trusting her in my home and with my animals, which says a lot about her professionalism and level of care. While I would love to gate keep her so she is available whenever I need her, I figure she needs more than 1 “regular.” 10/10 highly recommend!”

About: I work from home so this allows me to give a lot of time and care to your pup. I am happy to take your pup along with me on my multiple walks per day and play in the yard. My son and I take a lot of joy out of hosting dogs and have so much fun with our Rover guests! Please note the dogs in our pictures do not reside with us and will not be present in our home when we have puppy guests. We only host one guest at a time (unless it’s a family pair). We would love to host your pup if it is house trained, friendly to all humans and other dogs, and does not have any history of aggression, separation anxiety or destructive / behavioral issues as we would not be equipped to handle. Meet and greet prior to boarding is our request to ensure a great experience for all. Thank you in advance for your transparency on these requirements! I work from home and am an avid walker, plenty of availability. Your dog would not be left alone for more than a few hours when I have to run out for errands or appointments. I’m a homebody! I live in a safe, quiet neighborhood in the north hills with flat, easy loops for walking. I also have a fenced in, flat backyard that dogs love to play in. I have a 12 year old son who loves dogs and will gladly play with your pup.

About: I am a huge lover of dogs and always have been. I grew up with pets all my life and believe they make a difference in the home. Their presence alone adds so much joy and the companionship they provide is unmeasurable. I have a beautiful littler girl and we have time on the weekends to dog sit and give them a whole lot of love hugs and kisses. We have a handsome lab/boxer who loves other dogs and people. He plays well with everyone and anything! Especially kids!!! I work full time during the week - days Monday through Friday. Free on weekends as I don't work on weekends! If I do have to work on weekends, I will know in advance. I have crates if needed to separate my dog and your dog if need be for time out. I have closed in front porch and a dog runner in back yard!
