We had plans to go to the Monterey Aquarium for my son’s third birthday and I’m not sure what we would have done if she hadn’t been available to watch our little Jasper for the day with only an hour notice. Allison sent us photo updates throughout the day and it was so sweet to see Jasper having such a great time! I highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again!”

“Mariam is WONDERFUL with pets! For a period of two years (sometimes housesitting when my husband and I were out of town, and sometimes helping with everyday dog responsibilities when our schedules got crazy), she regularly took care of my very sweet but strong-willed and strong-muscled boxer, who could be a bit cranky with other dogs. Like a canine Mary Poppins, Mariam was firm but kind -- she was loving but very much in control, and I trusted her to know how to handle my boxer on walks when he occasionally got growly with a couple neighborhood dogs. I knew that with Mariam in charge, my boxer would get all the exercise he needed, and twice the snuggles. And Mariam also supervised special meals for him, too -- an all raw diet that consisted of raw chicken wings for breakfast, on a special mat that had to be cleaned with care, because of poultry bacteria, and a mixture of ground chicken parts, quinoa, cottage cheese, and vegetables for dinners. It was a pain to mix up all that food, but Mariam did it all. She stayed on top of my dog's medications, too. Mariam is your dog's new best friend. FIVE STARS!!!”

About: I have had many dogs ever since I can remember growing up one of my oldest dogs lived a long and happy 16 years with the most loving and caring family. I have over 16 years of experience with all kinds breeds. I will take great care of your fur babies as if they were one of my own. I’m also super chill if they get on the couch or bed, I love dogs and I don’t mind having them on the bed when they want cuddles or attention of course they also need time for them self as well and I can provide toys and treats. Making them feel comfortable and at home as well as safe is my biggest priority. I work through Rover full time and will be with your babies all day and they will have my full attention. Any special request will be very much appreciated to help their stay more comfortable. Any questions you may have feel free to ask. Update like photos and videos will be sent through out the days. I currently have an open schedule and am available any day of the week at any time so I will have a lot of time to dedicate to your fur baby I have a big backyard at my home that is fenced to provide a safe and secure place for your fur babies to play and do their business. All pets that I sit will stay inside I provide a space and bed for them to sleep. When taken out for potty they will be supervised at all times.

“I have never left my dog with anyone in the 5 years I’ve had her. When I met Shelly, she was out walking one of the dogs she was taking care of. I loved how Shelly treated this pup. I scheduled a time with Shelly to watch my dog for a weekend to just see how things went. Well, it was awesome. I missed my dog so much, but the updates And pictures I received made me feel so happy. “I’ve known him for several years. We used to go to beauty school and that’s how we met. Anyway, I’m always going on trips with my boyfriend so Gonzalo is my babysitter for my 2 year old golden retriever and my toy poodle. He’s great with both of them and treats them as his own.”

About: My husband and I have two large breed dogs and they are good with all dogs of all ages. Milo, 9 year old catahoula leopard dog, he is neutered. And Ellie, 7 years old Great Dane and Irish wolfhound mix who is also spayed. We also have two cats, a mouse, and 17 chickens. I am currently a stay at home mom, with two toddlers. I used to work at a vet clinic, and I also worked as a groomer before, so I have a bunch of experience with dogs. I have also trained all of my dogs myself. I have had dogs that were my own, where I had to care for them almost 100%(other than buying food at that age) since I was 8, so for 23 years. We have always had homes filled with dogs. The reason my husband and I even started watching dogs on Rover is when we tried to find a kennel to watch our 3 large breed dogs for our wedding, it was going to be the most expensive part of our wedding, when we found out about Rover, it was the best thing, so we cater to the large breeds, we love all dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages. But we understand how much more expensive it can be for the large fur babies. And thats what we are here for. I currently stay home with my kids and animals, so pet care is easy to fit in our daily lives and is already a big part of our daily lives. I have a fully fenced front yard and back yard, plenty of space for your pup(s) to run and play, 2 friendly dogs, friendly cats and two kiddos who love all animals.
