Ann was so great with my puppy! He’s a little difficult right now because he was just rescued and isn’t potty trained, but she was really patient with him and communicative with me. Definitely book her if you have the chance! She took him to the dog park and he was the happiest snuggliest dog when I got him back!

About: I’ve owned dogs for 10 years. I’ve cared for puppies as well as senior dogs. Your dog will be in the home with us and will be loved as a member of the family by all of us. The back yard is fenced which allows free roaming and out door play. The dogs have access to a mud room which adjoins the house via a dog door. We enjoy taking lots of walks and playing ball. I believe healthy habits makes happy animals. I have the privilege of being a homeschool mom! I am home all during the week and will be available for all your dogs needs! Our home is small and very open which allows the dogs to be near us at all times. I do have a baby gate which separates the laundry room, so I can feed your dog and my dog separately. The back yard is fenced which allows plenty of free roaming and out door play. On warm weather days the back door to the back yard stays open most of the day and the dogs can come in and out as they please. From the backyard they can also access a mud room which adjoins the house via a dog door or a sliding glass door for large dogs.

I also have experience house sitting, and I am comfortable staying with your pet for extended stays. I have dog sat in several different environments, including pets with large yards and small breeds living in apartments with limited accessible outdoor space. I am comfortable with any size breed.

About: a driven and humble person loves pets and would enjoy taking care of your pets at your service like my own. ive taken care of my 2 dogs, 2 cats, ferrets and lizards back then. i’ve trained my dogs and cats using tricks What will I do for pets i’ll take care of: - manage pets schedule - to pet, to play with, to walk, to fetch with, to hike and keeping them company - keep owners updates with regular check-ins in a positive environment and reliable service, etc. I'm currently working part-time, so I will have a lot of free time to play with pets like my own making sure they're in a positive environment and reliable services as needed. I'm an avid traveler which means I'm able to hike with dogs if needed because I do not have a fenced yard but there is a school field I can fetch to, and others. Also, my place is very mellow where pets will feel secure.

About: Grew up with dogs and have many years of hands-on experience caring for them in everyday life, including feeding, walking, basic training, and understanding different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m confident handling both calm and active dogs and adjusting to their individual needs. I now also own two cats, which has given me additional experience with feline behavior, routines, and creating a safe, stress-free environment. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and treat every animal with patience, responsibility, and genuine care. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available for pet care throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and on short notice when needed. I can’t take pets into my own home because I have two cats, but I’m very happy to stay at the client’s home and provide care there. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and keep their normal routine while you’re away.

About: I’ve fostered 5 different dogs from the Humane Society of Utah (3 wks - 2 mo each). I was responsible for feeding, exercising, administering meds, and providing water for the dogs. I volunteered for Second Chance for Homeless Pets, where I cleaned kennels, fed animals, completed simple cleaning tasks, & bathed a dog. I cometed 4 semesters of the vet tech program at Broadview University, where I learned about proper veterinary care, including administering meds, making general health assessments, walking dogs, cleaning kennels/clinic/classrooms, etc. During this time, I completed a preceptorship at Sugarhouse Veterinary Hospital, where I was able to sit in on a surgery. I worked as a vet tech at Banfield Pet Hospital for 3 months. I also worked at The City Pet Club Dog Daycare & Boarding facility and I’ve been dog sitting for the past 6 years. I have my own all natural dog treats and dog shampoo and a defurminator deshedding brush tool. I currently work from home and am very flexible and mobile for the purpose of taking care of your fur babies. I love all animals and would be privileged to watch yours. Water, food, treats, baths, walks, hiking, runs, dog park visits, dog pool visits, ball/toys, able to administer meds and address wounds, etc. I am a very good dog masseuse. Haha

About: Happy to take care of your pets! I have cared for, loved on, hiked, and walked pets professionally for years as a self employed person, through Rover, and through companies like Denver Dog Hikers and Pure In Home Pet Sitters. I have engaged rabbits, dogs, Russian turtles, parakeets, chickens and cats and am not afraid to learn more. I enjoy traveling a bit for sits too! I currently work doing things I love and my schedule can generally be flexible in order to help out! Feel free to message me your questions! When taking care of animals in your home I will follow whatever needs and likes are present for your particular animal. I have no problem following directions. Ask me to keep a gate closed, to pay mind to reactivity or aggression, to have them do fun commands for treats, or anything else that will keep your home and animals safe, healthy, and happy. Let me know a bit about your home/apt./cabin if I will be pet sitting for you. I will maintain a clean home and think we can both appreciate finding the space tidy. I will avoid dog parks and spaces with lots of other dogs if you are worried about pup getting a cough, flu, or disease. Let’s meet in good health only. Thank you! I Iook forward to hearing from you.

About: I have had lots of prior experience with Rover and also on WAG! I over 140 5 star reviews! I have also walked, and boarded neighbors, friends, and family's dogs. If you are satisfied with your experience please be sure to leave me a good review and 5 star rating, this helps me out so much! Tips are also greatly appreciated and you can tip me! You can tip within the Rover app or just ask me how else you can tip! As a dog lover and dog owner I know what it takes to care for and walk dogs. I have volunteered at shelters bathing and walking dogs. Its so fun to play with them all, and walk them. I'm experienced with sittings, boardings, and walkings as I have had to care people's dogs on WAG! A dog care, boarding, sitting, and walking service and have had to take care of neighbors, friends, and family's dogs while they we're away. I work from home most of the time. so being home or sitting is a easy task and if I'm watching your pet I don't have to go out for work. If your dog has specific needs as far as taking medicine I can help with that too. I work from home and work for myself so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets and play with them or whatever their needs are! I live in a house with a big fenced in yard for them to run around in. If you have small dogs I do have a doggy door they can freely go out to go potty if they are used to thay. I do also have 2 chihuahuas that live here for if your dogs likes company (One lives upstairs with roommate.) If you have issues with other dogs I can also make sure they are seperated from your dogs. I am previoudly experienced and I'm pretty open throughout the day so I will have lots of time to care and play with your pets. There is 1 Chihuahua living in the house so your fur babies will have company. If you don't wanr to have your dogs around my other dog that's not a problem as I have a gate in the basement where I am able to seperate my Chihuahua upstairs and yours downstairs with me.

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and truly treat every pet in my care like they’re my own. Growing up with dogs, cats, and even small animals taught me how to understand their needs and personalities. I have experience caring for pets of all ages—from playful puppies who need training and structure, to senior pets who require a little extra patience and gentle attention. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or following a detailed care routine, I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and happy while their families are away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I always make time for feeding, play, cuddles, and cleaning. Whether it’s checking in before work or spending quality time after, caring for animals is something I genuinely love and look forward to every day. I take care of pets like they’re my own, whether I’m in my home or a client’s. I follow their routine, make sure they’re fed, clean, and get lots of love and attention. I’m respectful of the home and always try to make pets feel safe and comfortable while their people are away.

My 2 big dogs wagged their tails like crazy every time Andy came over. Do I get that greeting when I come home? No, and I feed them. He texts the night before to reassure you of his arrival and is always on time. He's very easy to talk to and rapidly becomes family.

As of August 2026, there are 517 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Emory. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Emory. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Emory.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Emory. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
