About: About this sitter: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician currently working at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. I am the Veterinary Nursing Supervisor in the Diagnostic Imaging Dept. I do a max of 2 visits per day. I have been pet sitting since I was 17, so I have over 20 years of experience now. Why I love dog sitting I have owned and loved dogs my entire life. I grew up owning black labs. Once I moved out I got two cats, since the apartment I was renting did not allow dogs. My experience administering medication I am a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician and am very comfortable giving any medications.

I started my career at the University of Tennessee Veterinary Medical Hospital in 2006 and I’ve been pet sitting since 2008. Although I took a break around 2020, I’m back doing what I love while I’m enrolled in college courses. Thank you for the opportunity to be your pet sitter while you’re away! I do require that all pets be on a leash or within a secure fenced yard. I do not feel comfortable providing off leash walks in the event your pup gets startled or scared.

About: I have had pets for my entire life. I have experience giving oral medications as I have had geriatric dogs. Your pets deserve to have as much of their normal routine as possible while their parents are out of town. I am available for full day care on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and weekends as my full time job. About: I make friends everywhere I go , not just humans! Dogs and cats too. I am detail oriented and love animals! I am easy going with requests. I work at FedEx through the night and I would to help families through the evening! I am available for dog walking and dog sitting. About: I have cared for dogs personally for the majority of my life. I also gained professional experience working at a doggie daycare where I got to play and cuddle with a variety of dogs! At the doggie daycare, I learned some helpful methods on how to handle and evaluate a dog’s temperament for a group setting. I’m currently working part-time and am available on the weekends from 12 pm till 11 pm! Due to having classes during the week, my best time to work is the weekends. About: Medically retired Veteran and stay at home dad with lots of time on my hands to care for fur kids and keep a watchful eye on them. I have dog sat for friends' pets and personal pets that I've owned for over 30 years. I don't currently have another job. About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats from a young age, though cats are a bit newer to me. I frequently house sit and walk for friends and family, and wanted to start extending my services to others as well! I have a german shepherd, a corgi, and a samoyed that I love to play and walk with. I am currently able to provide dog walking or drop in visit services before and after I go to and get off from work! I am super excited to be able to do this I am pretty good at following instructions, so whatever your pet may need I can usually accommodate! Taking walks on their favorite path, playing with them in a fenced yard, crating them back up before I leave, cleaning up any messes, feeding them routinely, etc. Of course I will communicate regularly if you want me to as well, and will definitely ask questions if needed.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
