About: I have taken care of/owned dogs for 15 years. I have experience with all sizes of dogs, as well as various breeds. I love animals of all kinds! I have also owned and cared for cats, reptiles, and small critters like guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, and rabbits! We recently had to put our dog down due to illness, so I want to help other dog owners take care of their furry family members! I am a therapist and work a part-time, flexible schedule. I am available for morning, afternoon and evening drop-ins throughout the work week as well as weekends! In my home, I have a yard with a runner or can take your dog out on their leash if you prefer. We have one story so minimal steps involved for older pups. In your home, I will ensure that I keep your animals safe within the environment provided. About: I have been dog and house sitting for over 4 years. I love animals and will treat your dog like my own. I do have 2 dogs so I understand the importance of routine, especially while their people are away since it may be a confusing time for them. I love exercise so I’m comfortable with dogs of varying energy levels. I work full time but I am available for most mornings/evenings during the week and most weekends. Please contact me to work out specific dates/times :) When I care for dogs, I usually let them run around the house or my fenced in back yard if I’m home. I also have a designated (large) room for them to hang out in if I’m leaving the house or in case they need some quiet time.
About: I have taken care of two large breed dogs for over a year. I brought them into my home when they were puppies, and cared for them as they grew into adult dogs. For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. Getting some daily exercise is crucial not only for their physical health but also equally as important, their mental health! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
