“Meia's boarding service was EXCEPTIONAL! She communicated the entire process, keeping us informed either via messages, pictures and/or videos. She made our fur-baby feel at home away from home and truly bonded with him. She showed unconditional love towards him and was open to his routines and also helped to extend new opportunities for him. Meia followed his lead and made sure to make his "vacation" one to never forget! Thank you Meia, we really appreciate your gift for loving others and allowing it flourish through your love for animals. You are the best sitter ever!”

“This was the 1st time we've left Hero with anyone while we went out of town, but when we had our initial meet and greet with Christy, I felt comfortable leaving him. Christy sent us pictures and we laughed because he looked right at home. I definitely will be using Christy again and will be recommending her! Thank you Christy”

“Joaquin watched my 8 month old Rottweiler, Papa again and it was 10/10! I got frequent updates and never had to worry if my pup was getting the attention and love he needed! Joaquin is great!”

About: Hi pet owners! I am Shelby and I moved to the Burlington area in 2022. l grew up with a precious Yorkshire Terrier and have had experience caring for pets of all sizes and breeds. I have a calm and gentle demeanor, which helps me to gain trust with animals easily, including those who are prone to anxiety. I am happy to accommodate special requests to cater to your specific needs. I am located near Mackintosh Lake in Burlington and have miles of trails in my backyard to get your pet outside and moving while you are at work or out of town. I work remotely full-time in Higher Education and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule, including early mornings, lunch, evenings, and weekends to drop in, play, or walk with your pet. When looking after your pet, I treat them and your home environment as I would my own. I value proactive communication, listening to your specific needs, and adapting my support to ensure you and your pet have a safe and enjoyable experience.

“Our dogs were very happy at Erin’s and came back looking and acting great. We can’t wait for them to stay at Erin’s again. Erin really listened to Wach dogs needs and quirks and this made leaving them with her a huge relief.”

“Our pup Maizy had a wonderful time staying at Evan's house. She very much enjoyed her introductory stay and loved meeting Marty, her new best buddy. Maizy will definitely be returning to this wonderful pet sitting family.”

“Britteny was absolutely wonderful with my rescue dog who has severe separation anxiety. She was calm and sweet and Sadie felt safe and cared for. I highly recommend Britteny for your pet boarding needs!”

“Kristen does a fantastic job with our very old dog who needs some extra TLC. She sent frequent photos and updates and was extremely flexible when we needed to extend our stay by one day. We have used her 3 times and will likely use her pet sitting services again!”

“Courtney and Izaic were great. We arranged a meet and greet and they made sure we both felt comfortable with what to expect. They were very flexible to accommodate our vacation travel schedule. They sent pictures every day with a note so we would know how everything was going. Would definitely use them again.”

“Amy & John took such good care of our two dogs, boarding them for nearly a week while we traveled. I was so appreciative and relieved they would consider us, as our young dog, River, is always curious and has a pretty strong prey drive. I wondered if he would be suited to life on their farm. Our other guy, Colton, is 15 and has significant arthritis. These two could not have more different needs at this point. Amy and John have a beautiful farm, two special rescued dogs, Bruno & Pork Chop, cattle, chickens, even emu. This would be a new experience for both our guys! Generally we spend a great deal of time with them off leash walking our family farms, but this would be a new property and boundaries without fencing. At our meet and greet it was clear Amy and John are special people. We admired them right away! They are very experienced, and were aptly methodical about the introduction of all the dogs and their other farm animals. Their confidence that this could work for all parties involved was reassuring. Amy and John went above and beyond, very kind to take our dogs a day earlier than planned with short notice, and welcomed our daughter, also new to them, who transported the dogs for us. They were excellent at communicating, sending us updates, pictures, and videos, even though we’d told them this was not necessary, as keeping up with River, his energy and curiosities, we knew could be a full time job in and of itself. But it gave us great peace of mind hearing early on that all was going well and there were no issues. Because of Amy & John’s care, patience, and diligence, after a full day with them we received the following, “..Bruno and River have become fast friends, running circles and playing hide and seek in the woods like wild things! We’re not using the leashes at all as we walk in the woods. River’s been absolutely perfect about coming back when we call him.” And I got the biggest kick out of, “I just got back from a walk with all four dogs, Pork Chop and Colton waddling behind me and River and Bruno having a blast playing chase.” Along with a picture Amy sent of River with his head poking through from behind her knees (as crazy as it sounds), something he humors only us with here at home, we KNEW both our guys felt comfortable, were happy and very much cared for. I could not imagine a more perfect scenario for our dogs. Now back at home, we can definitely sense they are missing Amy, John, Bruno, Pork Chop, and daily life on their farm. I’d love to arrange a play date to help with this, and I KNOW precisely what River and Colton’s reactions will be once we approach their farm. It’s clear this is a family that loves animals and cares so much for the well-being of all they have rescued and assumed responsibility for. They are kind, exceptional, hard-working individuals, and we feel so fortunate to have met them and to have our dogs cared for by them. This is who we will turn to any time we need care and boarding for our dogs!”

About: I am not just a pet sitter I am a dog lover with years of experience and a true passion for animals. For the past 15 years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and spent 6 of those years as a dedicated dog owner and breeder. I’ve worked with everything from playful puppies to senior dogs with special needs, and I know how to make each one feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Our home is clean, calm, and smoke-free, and it’s filled with the kind of energy dogs love. My twin teenage boys are gentle, active, and amazing with animals and love to assist me as I supervise. They enjoy walking, playing, and cuddling with our dog guests, and they’ve grown up knowing how to treat animals with kindness and respect. I also offer crate-free care and light bathing upon request. I have experience with disabled dogs and older pups who need a little extra patience and care. Whether it’s giving meds, helping with mobility, or just making sure your dog feels at home, we pay attention to every detail. I believe every dog is unique and here to meet them where they are whether that means outdoor play, quiet snuggles, or sticking to a specific routine. When your dog stays with me, you can count on love, safety, and regular updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I truly treat your pup like one of my own. Pet care is part of my everyday life. Your dog will get constant love, playtime, and companionship in our clean, non-smoking, crate-free options available. I follow your pup’s routine, provide lots of cuddles, and send regular photo and video updates. Just a heads up most dogs miss me when they leave, and I miss them too! When a dog stays in our home, they become part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and non-smoking environment with plenty of love, attention, and structure. Your dog will have access to cozy indoor spaces and supervised outdoor time for fresh air, play, and potty breaks. I stick closely to your pet’s routine mealtimes, walks, play, and rest so they feel secure and settled. Whether your dog enjoys a game of fetch, lounging on a soft blanket, or taking calm strolls around the neighborhood, I meet them where they are. Our twin teenage boys are always happy to help and bring gentle energy and fun. We give lots of cuddles, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. We also offer crate-free care unless otherwise requested, and are happy to accommodate special diets, medications, or mobility needs. You can expect frequent updates, photos, and open communication while your pet is in our care. We know how important it is to feel connected and confident while you’re away.

“Ro took great care of our husky boys! She treated them just like her own, sent frequent updates and pictures, and has a great beautiful fenced in yard to help get the energy out. The boys enjoyed the dog pool and came back to us with little energy left because they had so much fun. We definitely recommend Ro and will forever use her as our dog sitter. Thank you again! ???”
