My first pup was an Irish Setter when I was just four, and over the years my family rescued many dogs — including plenty of Basset Hounds — so I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds and personalities. I’m now a cat owner as well — it’s a new experience, but one I’ve grown to love. At the moment, I’m available nearly every day, including weekends, thanks to a flexible work schedule. I’m happy to work around your needs and adjust as things come up. My kids are fully grown, so I have some more time on my hands! I’m completely comfortable crating dogs when needed, and I’m confident handling daily walks, potty breaks, and general exercise routines to make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and well‑cared for.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 15 years old. I love walking dog and spending time with them I have no problems with taking care of the house as well when people are gone as well, including cleaning up, vacuuming, dishes, ensuring mail is collected and taking care of plants. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs. When I get up in the morning, I prefer to take the doggos out first thing for a quick walk around to let them go to the bathroom. We then head back to have breakfast together. Throughout the day, I will keep an eye on them to see if they need to go out. If they are a puppy, we will go out every 2 hours quickly. Otherwise, I tend to wait until around 4 hours to do another walk around, usually as a longer walk or if weather is bad, give us a chance to play at home for a while after lunch. I work remotely so I’ll still be able to work while looking after your pupper and will be keeping a close eye on them throughout the day. We’ll do another walk/play time around 3-4 before I start working on dinner and ensure we both get fed. At around 7 or.8, I’ll have us do one last walk around to take care of business before bedtime for adult dogs. Please keep in mind I’m aware that for puppies and senior dogs that schedules may need to adjust and we can have those conversations depending on need. I am not able to take pets into my own home at this time due to restrictions on my lease. So I will be relying on the equipment that you have in your home to care for your dog. I want to make sure I am using the food that your dog eats and the treats that are your safety standards. I will keep your dog on leash while on walks at all times, and be sure to follow whatever rules you have for your animal.

About: I have had dogs my whole life, all different breeds with all different needs. My current dog lives with seizures and continuously needs attention, meds, and different foods, so I understand that all dogs need special care, and lots of love! My schedule varies, but I am actively looking to make extra money over the summer, so I will do my best to make bookings work! If visiting your home to care for your pup, I can take them on a walk, play with them, feed them, clean up any accidents if necessary, or give them meds if needed! I want to care for them just the same as you would.

“Jen was the best sitter I could have found for my 115lb. Golden. I knew the day I met her and watched how Charlie reacted with her that she would be the person I could trust to stay with him. It was our first time leaving Charlie with anyone other than family, also it was the longest amount of time we would be gone. She stayed with Charlie for 6 days and 5 nights. Our flights were delayed both going and coming home. Jen was so accommodating, she came earlier than I had booked her for and stayed later at the end. I was completely at ease knowing Charlie was going to be so well cared for, even loved. He's such a creature of habit and Jen followed our routine perfectly. It was obvious from the way he reacted to Jen that he knew she was a good person and a dog lover. Jared made sure she was not off leash (chasing little critters in the back yard is her favorite thing) and even massaged her nightly. Sent tons if pics and communicated at all times.
