“My dog Luna enjoyed her stay with Debra and her pack. I have a husky malamute and was very confident to leave her in Debra’s hands because she knows the breed so well, she even taught me a few things that I didn’t know. Her house is perfect for dogs to enjoy, with a huge fenced in yard, and access to outside with a doggy door. Luna formed part of the family, as she was able to be around the house, spend time with the family on the couch or doggy bed next to the couch, and again just be herself and part of the pack with the other lovely dogs. I knew from the minute we went to the meet and greet that this was right for her. I was actually afraid she didn’t want to come home after her stay! Debra was great in communicating and sent us great pictures and videos of Luna having fun. I’m so glad that I found Debra because I’ve found Luna’s second home away from home, rather than leaving her at the boarding place I used before which keeps the dogs in kennels most of the time. Thank you Debra and your pack!”

“Kari was wonderful with Hazel. I could tell Hazel adjusted well and enjoyed her time with Kari and her family by the photos and updates Kari provided along the way. I would leave Hazel with Kari again knowing that she would be well cared for.”

“Winston was well cared for by Mike. Being with other dogs was a great experience for him. Mike was great with updates and photos. i would recommend Mike as a great dog sitter.”

“Sunny took such good care of my dog & sent me lots of pictures during his stay! He had a great time & a lot of fun with Sammy & everyone else. I highly recommend Sunny for anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Marcia did an excellent job taking care of Tuka! I could tell he was very comfortable with her and her family both when I left him and picked him up. Loved all the pictures she sent! We will definitely use her again!”

About: Graduated from UNH class 2014 with a Bachelors in Zoology. Proud to have over 20 years of animal care. 15 years of multi pet ownership . ---Raised and trained 8 dogs from puppy to adult. Spent 6 months volunteering at an animal shelter. Have completed Two separate 10 session dog training courses with a certified dog trainer. Have completed online Instructional courses on E-collar training and behavior modification. Have experience handling dogs with behavioral issues/quirks Have cared for pets of family and friends in addition to my own for over 15 years . My family and I currently have two dogs and a lizard, so pet care is part of our daily routine, 24/7 365. My own dogs are walked daily and stimulated through play and training. When we are home as a family, the dogs are out with us enjoying life. When we are out of the house, they are either crated or secured in a room with fresh water. Safety/Security and respecting the animals are my core values. While the animals in my home are cared for like family, they are taught to respect boundaries and work for affection. In my care, pets are leashed unless they are in a secure, fenced area. I take the time to understand each animal is an individual who has unique needs. I cater my approach to each animal based on their specific demeanor.
“Samantha took amazing care of my little cat and guinea pig . She was on time , commutative and showed that she really has a big heart that cares about people and their animals. I will definitely be reaching out to her again for her amazing service.”

“Without a doubt whenever we need furbaby care it will be Lisa we turn to. We could not be more delighted with the loving care she gave to our Penny. It was wonderful to be able to go away with the peace of mind knowing our girl was in the kind of caring hands she receives at home. Thank you Lisa! ~ Mark, Mary, & Penny Broderick”

“Shatane and her family were absolutely amazing with my two dogs. They sent great updates of how they were doing and amazing pictures and videos. Have both my dogs plenty of exercise outside in the backyard and treated them as if they were their own. It made a week of travel less stressful to know my two were taken care of so well. Highly recommend.”

“Marc was great with my two dogs. He was very communicative prior and during my dog's three night stay with him. He walked them each day and has a great fenced in yard for them to be able to play. Next time we are on the Cape we will definitely be using Marc!”

“Millie had a terrific weekend. A shy dog, Maria took the time to integrate her into her family activities. She came back happy, bathed and exhausted from her weekend. Maria was also very accommodating with our schedule- we dropped off early and picked up earlier than planned. She was gracious and helpful. Maria also sent great pictures of Millie from her weekend - which were passed around the table at the graduation dinner.”

About: Had a 5 month old pup at aged 9 (also had a dominant cat) taught her basics and more over time until she needed medication due to her old age. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. Any fur-babies that need to stay overnight will be looked after like they are my own. I’ll send lots of pictures and make sure your pet is comfortable with as much attention as it needs.

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.
“Sarah and her family were wonderful with our dog, Rory. It was clear he was getting lots of love and snuggles while we were away. Sarah provided pictures during our trip. We would gladly use Sarah again in the future!”

“Larisa and her pups took such great care of our girl Georgia while we were away visiting family. Larisa sent videos, photos and updates each day we were gone to show us how well Georgia was being taken care of! Georgia got to go on beautiful walks around a bog, play in Larisa's yard and even got to lounge in multiple nap spots. Georgia got along so well with Daisy and Tess, Larisa's doggies, and I know they were an added benefit to her stay! We were so happy that Georgia was so happy and would absolutely seek out Larisa's care again!”

“My German shepherd Justin had a great stay with Karen. We appreciated the flexibility and communication around his stay. Double check whether there will be other dogs there, as the host was listed as not having dogs, but there were a family member’s two small dogs at the house when I dropped him off.”

“Kelly was wonderful! She checked in on our dogs while we were away for the weekend—always prompt, spent time playing with them, fed them, and made sure they felt loved and cared for. It gave us such peace of mind. Highly recommend!”
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, especially dogs. My first pup was an Irish Setter when I was just four, and over the years my family rescued many dogs — including plenty of Basset Hounds — so I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds and personalities. I’m now a cat owner as well — it’s a new experience, but one I’ve grown to love. At the moment, I’m available nearly every day, including weekends, thanks to a flexible work schedule. I’m happy to work around your needs and adjust as things come up. My kids are fully grown, so I have some more time on my hands! I’m completely comfortable crating dogs when needed, and I’m confident handling daily walks, potty breaks, and general exercise routines to make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and well‑cared for.
“Julie is great with my pups! She gave the 10 week old puppy the extra care and attention he needed while also giving my 5 year old dog tons of love and affection! We can’t wait to see her again!”

About: There has been at least one cat in my home my entire life—I'm about to turn 31, so that’s saying something. Dogs are great, but cats have always had my heart. Right now, I have two 10-year-old cats who I've had since they were 8 weeks old. At one point, I had four cats, including two seniors—one I rescued from euthanasia, and another who had been abandoned. My home has kind of become the “catch-all” for cats. Whether it’s a short stay or a visit that somehow turns into forever, there’s always a place here for them.

“Danielle was great! She came by for a meet and greet beforehand and met my cat Reggie. She was punctual and thorough. She took pictures so I'd know my little fella was alright. I will certainly hire her again in the future!”

About: With 12 years of veterinary technician experience and cat ownership of my own, I’m very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and temperaments — from energetic kittens to senior cats needing medication or extra patience. I understand feline body language and stress cues and always take time to earn each cat’s trust. Whether your cat loves playtime or prefers quiet companionship, I create a calm, predictable routine so they feel safe and content while you’re away. I have a cat of my own who will be 18 this year! I am an avid believer of happy cat=happy and long life!
“Emma is fantastic! On very short notice, Emma agreed to do drop in visits with my two Golden’s in the very early morning and at night. The pups look so happy to see her in every picture on their report card. Thank you Emma!”

“Quinn did a great job with our twin ginger cats!!! We really appreciated her presence and care, and loved seeing notes and pictures of the cats each day while we were away. Quinn is a great communicator!!!”

About: I’ve cared for cats with a variety of personalities and needs, and I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to routines, feeding schedules, playtime, and litter box care. I also have experience administering medications both orally and by injection, so I’m comfortable caring for cats who need extra medical attention, including seniors or pets with ongoing health conditions. I understand how important trust and communication are, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 15 years old and have had a black lab my whole life. My friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets which has sparked a passion in me. My sister’s dog is handicap (using diapers/harness for stairs) and I’ve found through my experience watching him that I have built confidence in taking great care of pets. I look forward to hearing from you! I currently work in an office Monday through Friday 8-4pm. I am available for boarding on weekends and evenings. I am completely available on weekends and limited during the week. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex. I can crate your pet if needed. I am a highly active individual, who looks forward to many walks around the neighborhood with your pet.
“We have a very difficult older cat who needs daily medication. We had already been through two cat sitters who were not able to administer her meds, after the first time, so we were concerned fo try again. Jared had great instincts with how to deal with the situation. He took the time to let the cat get to know him first. He was reliable and had good communication. We would definitely use him again.”

About: Hi there! My husband and I are the ultimate dog people. We both grew up with dogs and have been caring for them on and off Rover for years! We took a break from this app as we had a couple of regular pup clients but we are back and eager to meet yours!!! We have been caring for dogs for over 25 years. We are very active and we love hikes in the state forest or long walks on the trails of Pinehills, Hedges Park, Plymouth Long Beach, and the canal. We live 2 houses down from Bloody Pond if your pup enjoys swimming!! We have a mellow 3 year old boxer named Polly. She is such a little love, more mellow than your typical 3 year old boxer, is great with all dogs, and can often be found sun bathing on our back patio. Although not completely fenced in, we have a tie out run and live on a dead end street. We both have very flexible schedules which makes for great availability. We will always do our best to accommodate requests! Drop ins and dog boarding are mostly what we do but don’t hesitate to reach out re: dog walking and house sitting. Please note, meet and greets are required for all dog boarding and house sitting requests. Our yard is 3/4s fenced in and we live on a dead end. Dogs are NEVER off leash without owner permission and our full trust in the pup.

“Amazing!! 10/10 would recommend! Taylor and Jesse were phenomenal ! They sent me so many great new photos of Charlie and he made a new friend with their super cute pup Ollie ! I will definitely be using them again!”

About: I am a physical therapist who has a passion for working with people, however, I interact with people quite often. SO, what I really enjoy is making the time to cuddle or walk with furry friends any chance I can get. As a former doctoral student, I have learned how to manage time well, organize and prioritize. I have over 8 years of experience dog sitting for family members and these dogs include small breeds (Coton de Tulear and Dachshund), medium breeds (Beagle/Australian Sheperd mix) and large breeds (Pitbull/Boxer mix, Boxer, and Lab/Pitbull mix). I have administered medication on a strict schedule, bathed, walked and snuggled with all of these pups, showing nothing but love and dedication. I take all safety precautions to ensure gates are closed when necessary, human food is placed far out of reach, and all doors are shut that lead to tempting, tasty objects such as shoes and remotes. My experience with a variety of breeds and sizes makes me stand out, as well as my ability to handle high energy dogs who may appear confrontational at first. If you choose me to watch your fur babies, there is no doubt that they will be in good hands with someone who is dedicated to ensuring they are comfortable, happy and well taken care off. I have a very flexible schedule, I am in between jobs at the moment, so as long as I have enough notice, I am willing to make anything work! At my house I have to flexibility to take the dogs out as needed, I have a dog currently who is friendly with others. In my clients’ homes, I respect the client’s instructions and can perform any task they need! I respect the home and privacy as I have also had Rover sitters in my home and would want someone trustworthy.
“we were looking for a home close by to our house where Quinnie could have some time to interact with other dogs in a safe and living environment. Jackie‘s home was perfect for what we were looking for. A large securely fenced yard plus a dog door. Quinnie seemed very comfortable with Jackie, her husband and their three adorable dogs. She spent six hours there and came home tuckered out, but she seemed very happy with the day. Jackie was very attentive and kept us informed. We would very highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’m Emily, a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner. I currently have three cats and one dog, and I’ve grown up with and owned both cats and dogs of all sizes — from tiny Chihuahuas to a challenging 200-pound dog. I’m very comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and personalities. I’m also an avid hiker, so I’m happy to provide longer walks or more active outings for dogs who enjoy adventure and are safe around other dogs. I’ve also worked with and volunteered for two different animal shelters, which gave me experience caring for a wide range of animals and helped me become comfortable around pets with different needs, backgrounds, and behaviors. Whether your pet needs exercise, patience, playtime, cuddles, or just someone dependable to check in on them, I’ll treat them like one of my own. i currently work as a therapist 8am-245pm. but sometimes i have an open slot. but available for pet support 3 and after as well as on weekends. i have a runner for if a pet needs to be at my home, about an acre, i have a hiking trail 4min from my home. i have 1 dog and 3 cats all very friendly

“Alison has been such a blessing with my return to work! She has come to walk my dog Elliot when I’m in office. She always comes within the time window, sends photos, and tracks their walks. She was kind enough to do a meet & greet beforehand, where I could tell she loves dogs! Elliot loves her, and I know her visits help him get through the day. I am confident that Alison provides excellent care, whether that’s in your home or her home.”

About: I have been a dog owner for over 40 years. I have watched many pets of family members and neighbors. I love to walk dogs in the woods or on the beach. It is a daily routine and I always make sure that my dogs are well cared for and get plenty of exercise. I currently work part time, 2 days for 4 hours per day so I have plenty of time to care for your dog as dog care is part of my daily routine now. I have a fenced yard and a 10 year old Lab. He is very beta and gets along well with other dogs. My daily routine includes several long walks. If necessary I have plenty of room to crate your dog.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, medications, and giving pets extra patience and attention based on their individual needs. I am a college student home for the summer, I have availability all week to meet the needs of your dogs! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life—I have my own dogs, so my routine naturally revolves around feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure they’re happy and healthy. Adding other pets into that routine feels like a natural extension of what I already love doing. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. In my home, pets get plenty of attention, structured routines, and playtime—plus a cozy space to relax, just like one of my own dogs. When I’m in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific instructions. I respect each home as if it were my own and always keep communication open with regular updates and photos.

About: I've lived with and taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes since I can remember. Within the past five years, I've begun an incredibly fulfilling and always-learning professional career with them and many other animals like cats, reptiles, birds, rodents, and even horses. My experience has varied amongst pet hotels and daycares to shelters and rescues and much in between! This has led me to gain experience with obedience and etiquette training, administering medication and aiding treatment recovery, senior and puppy care, and general husbandry care and grooming. I am CPR and first aid certified for dogs and cats and always try my best to make sure the pets in my care have the most fun they can while also being safe and cared for. If your pet is on the shy side or has some special quirks that need acknowledgment, I'm always willing to try and meet their needs. I have experience with everything from fresh puppies to wary shelter rescues, so you can feel comfortable leaving your babies in my care, I will always go at their pace. If you like how I am with your pet please consider booking outside Rover with me next time to save your pockets and mine from their fees! I will happily lower my prices! I am working as a full time animal caretaker, this is my part-time job but I will do my best to be flexible whenever possible. I will adhere to any rules or routines you may have for your pup! I'm familiar with all kinds of training and am happy to send as many pictures/videos and updates you may want of your fuzzy child.

I am currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I can be there for your pets any time you would like!!! I look forward to hearing from you! I currently work in an office Monday through Friday 8-4pm. I am available for boarding on weekends and evenings. I am completely available on weekends and limited during the week. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex. I can crate your pet if needed. About: I have only watched dogs a couple of times. I had a dog growing up, but mainly cats. I am definitely more of a cat lover, but I’m trying to give dogs a chance! I have a retail job that has a sporadic schedule. I am just looking for a side gig for every now and then. To get exercise and be outside in the summer is a bonus :) I have a fenced yard and a furry friend to have fun with! I have a big open space and lots of comfy places to sleep. I have a dog and cat friendly home!
“Autumn was great. She took great care of Ivy and I definitely recommend her as a walker/sitter. She made sure Ivy went to the bathroom and had plenty of water and cooled down after her short walk in the summer heat!”

“Anna took great care of my 1 year old dog who is a ball of energy! 10/10 recommend great sitter and clear she is a genuine dog lover. Would 100% ask her to sit my dog again and fully vouch for anyone else to consider dropping theirs off to her! Thank you Anna!”
