About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid! I’m comfortable around all dogs, especially large breeds, and willing to adapt to take care of your animal. My time spent during walks, dog park outings, or just taking care of them will be filled with love and intention. I’m a dog mom myself to a 5 year old mixed breed who is full of energy and curiosity! I’m currently home full time and am available for drop-ins or house sittings when needed! With that, I’m also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. About: I've taken care of sick dogs, dogs on diets, and dogs that are used to a routine, but am able to take care of any situation. I love to be around animals and will happily make sure your dogs are kept safe and happy. I work Full-time Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday from 8:30 - 4:30 and Wed from 11 -7. I am happy to come "home" each day after work to your home and stay during the workweek, I just will not be able to be with them until after work during the week. I am fully available on most weekends, so just let me know what works! For the dogs I have taken care of before, I always walk with leashes, even for well trained dogs, I will be new to them. I always pick up after dogs on walks. I have owned cats and dogs all my life, and am very comfortable with any dog or cat. I will keep doors locked when inside and of course when leaving the house.
