About: Hi! For many years, I was a Fear Free Certified veterinary assistant in Charlottesville, VA. I also have experience as a dog kennel manager, farm assistant & animal rescue volunteer/advocate. During my 10 years of petsitting work, i’ve learned how to make your pets as stress free as possible while your away. Petsitting is currently my full time job! I create my own schedule, which allows flexibility for everyone! and plenty of time to spend with your pets. With my background in animal healthcare, I am decidicated to keeping your pets safe, happy and healthy. This includes checking in with owners during care!

About: I've taken care of sick dogs, dogs on diets, and dogs that are used to a routine, but am able to take care of any situation. I love to be around animals and will happily make sure your dogs are kept safe and happy. I work Full-time Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday from 8:30 - 4:30 and Wed from 11 -7. I am happy to come "home" each day after work to your home and stay during the workweek, I just will not be able to be with them until after work during the week. I am fully available on most weekends, so just let me know what works! For the dogs I have taken care of before, I always walk with leashes, even for well trained dogs, I will be new to them. I always pick up after dogs on walks. I have owned cats and dogs all my life, and am very comfortable with any dog or cat. I will keep doors locked when inside and of course when leaving the house.

About: I have ample room and time to love on your fur babies!! I currently do not have any dogs but love them all! I also have a basement with a separate gate if your pet needs space by itself. I live close to the mountains so if you want to take the day to hike/explore sperryville I am your go to:) I work from home and love my animals!! I am fortunate to have the flexibility to take care of my farm animals and others when needed. I own a small farm with plenty of space for walking and also have a fenced in garden than I can use during the colder months for secure play for dogs.

About: I have 2 small dogs of my own and a cat who I rescued off the streets! My cat was very feral and now she’s so loving. I’ve also took care of my cousins Doberman and pitbull which I love I just love animals and make time for my pets because they keep me motivated. I also go to college so when I’m not home my family helps care for them. In my home I have 2 dachshunds and let them out to potty and watch them to make sure there okay outside before letting them in to eat breakfast. Same thing goes for lunch and dinner. I work in the mornings and have free afternoons and weekends! I have the option to work from home if needed to be more available! We have many, many walking trails and we love to walk! I make sure every pet is well loved, respected, and fully taken care with food and water and also walks and treats! About: Hello! My name is Kaylee, I am 23 years old and my biggest personality trait is my love for animals. If you were to ask someone who knows me, they may say “that girl with the zoo? I currently have 5 pets, who I consider my children, and that is the least amount of animals I have ever owned at once. (Only due to apartment living.) Caring for animals is my comfort and passion, it truly brings me joy. I have never lived a day without pets- and I don’t want to, so, I focused my career around them. However, I’m still in search of more! I am currently a manager at a dog boarding facility part time, and I love my job, but I would love to find more local work. At my facility, I am currently managing multiple groups of up to 20 free ranged dogs at a time. I have worked with nearly every dog breed out there, and I have loved them all. I have experience in handling many medical conditions in dogs, such as anxiety, allergies, seizures, joint issues, diabetes, asthma, and many more. I also have experience in administering a multitude of medications, including inhalers and insulin. I am currently working part time, and my work days are typically the same each week. I am unavailable on my work days during hours 4 AM- 3 PM, but I would love to work with you any other time! The approach I take to care for a pet depends on the pets temperament and needs. As I have probably met over 2,000 dogs at this point- I understand that each dog is different. Some may want constant affection, and I’m more than happy to give that! In a client’s home, I always follow your pup’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure to leave everything tidy and send photo updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. For dog walks, I focus on safety and fun. I use secure leashes/harnesses, keep a close eye on the environment, and adjust the pace to match your dog’s age and energy level — whether that’s a brisk stroll or a relaxed sniff walk. My goal is always to make sure your pet gets the exercise, attention, and care they deserve while giving you peace of mind.
