“Taylor was great! She came over the day before to meet the doggies. Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. About: My name is Doug and my wife, Adrienne, and I have an adorable pitbull mix with special needs named Shuri. I have a soft spot for power breeds and misunderstood dogs; though, we love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have had dogs my entire life and have worked with dogs of all different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I have experience in basic training methods. I have experience working with multiple dogs, administering medication, and doing basic training work. Most special needs can be accommodated. Plus your dog will definitely receive lots of love from myself and the rest of the family. I currently work from home and have plenty of time to spend with your pups. I am available on weekdays and weekends for walks, drop in visits, and overnights I believe dogs require adequate exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation to truly thrive. About: Hi, my name is Becca. I live with four dogs, two Yorkies(Cocoa and Buddy), a Pit mix and a Beagle (Doobie and Maribel)! I love to play in the backyard with them and take them on walks. I think that it’s important to show dogs you care about them, by spending time with them. I enjoy long walks especially with dogs, it’s more fun when you have a furry friend with you! I look forward to getting to know your dog and learning more about their personality. Don’t hesitate to tell me if your dog has special needs or requirements. My schedule is somewhat flexible. I am currently in paramedic school. My classes are mostly in the mornings, but my schedule is pretty flexible during the afternoons on week days. I have a fenced-in yard, and all dogs have plenty of toys to play with! I often run around in the backyard with them to help get some of their energy out!

About: My philosophy is to provide your pets care and attention as if they were my own. I have provided care for friends, family, and hired to walk, dog/house sit, check in etc. ranging from puppies through senior pets who might need extra care and support. I am accustomed to providing individualized care to multiple animals as specified by owners. I am currently in graduate school to be an occupational therapist! I am happy to work with you to find what works for us both! I do a lot of studying and reading which can be with your pets. This also means I need breaks and movement, which I can do in alignment with your pets schedules! I will follow the owners care instructions to a T on their do’s and don'ts! I also like to ask questions as needed to ensure your home, pets, and myself are safe and in tip top shape throughout!

About: I have a senior pet myself. She is a 15 year old shitzu that I trained (If you know about shitzus they can be very sassy/stubborn lol). I have also raised two of my cats from 6 weeks old. Both my dog and cats are very friendly and tolerable. My boyfriend is home most of the day. I am a waitress so I don’t go into work until 4 or later usually I get out at 9-10 but usually earlier. Besides that I am always home. I care for pets that I am watching just like I would my own! My apartment building has a big yard and i have many good pet friendly parks very close by. I have multiple dog toys, treats, and dog bed (but my dog is small) I also have multiple cat towers, scratchers, toys, and treats. My pets are feed 3x a day morning, noon, and night. My dog is walked at least 2x a day not including potty breaks.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since highschool at the age of 14. I’ve am also a veterinary assistant since 2023! I have my own pet that is a very active German Shepherd! I am a college student working at a vet clinic 15+ hours a week in the evenings! I am very flexible during the day time. Most days I don’t work until 3pm! I can easily monitor your pet and make sure it has a blast when in my care! The care I provide for my own pet is something I pride myself on and would love to care for yours!

About: I use to work at a dog daycare called playful pack and I have also grown up with dogs and cats for most of my life. I can work anytime on weekends, on Tuesday I can work from 1pm-12am. I am very flexible with my schedule, so just ask and i’ll see what I can do. When dog sitting or walking, I first take in account of your dog’s behavior and make adjustments. For example, if your dog gets hyper around other dogs i’ll choose a place to walk the dog in a more isolated place. I also want your dog to feel comfortable and not threatened in anyway so i’ll work with your dog to be more comfortable with me.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 6 years now, and I just recently adopted my own! His name is maverick and he’s a husky, but I also have a cat (bean) and another dog (bronco) who I adopted a few years ago. I live in an apartment complex here in Columbia, and I’m currently a college student! I work full time, three days a week. Tues-thurs! I do work nights so I’m usually free from 8am-6pm on the days that I work, otherwise I’m free early mornings and late at night if needed. I’m available to do drop in visits and boarding on the weekends :) Since I live in an apartment complex without a fence I typically walk maverick on a leash and frequently take him to the off leash dog park near by. I’d be able to do whatever you do at your home to accommodate!

Matilda is shy but loves walks so she is easy and Charlie thinks everyone is here to spoil him. All 3 came home with tails high, and that is the most important thing. Sam did super with my babes.”

About: My experience with pets started at an early age, as there has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had at least one dog and cat that I absolutely adored and took care of. From fostering kittens to attending the hounds around town walking program for dogs- I’ve had a pretty wide range! I’ve completed a socializing program with my prior local humane society, pet sat many of my friends and family’s’ fur babies- as well as currently taking care of my three sweet cats! I would love to meet your pets and share some love when you aren’t able to! It brings a lot of joy to my life :) I’m currently a medical professional employed in the Columbia community but have pet sat as a side gig for many years as a way to connect with the community, meet other local pet parents, and love on others pets as if they were my own! My schedule varies and is often open the entire day. I would love to fit some pet sitting/walking opportunities into my life when I’m able! Taking care of your pets in your home is completely up to your preferred method! Every pet parent is different and I will make sure to tailor that experience to the sitting. Details and communication are the most important thing .

About: My family owned a large yellow lab and I was the care taker of him from a young age. I have taken care of pets for family and friends in the past and am looking to make use of my free time. I recently graduated from college and I am a member of the National Guard. I’m Not currently employed so my schedule is flexible as long if I am given advanced notice. I live in a single story duplex. The neighborhood is walkable but there are no fenced in yards. There are natural trails nearby to accommodate exercise for your pet.

About: Hi! I’m Josselyn, a pre-veterinary student at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) with a strong passion for animal care and behavior. In high school, I completed a veterinary technician program and successfully passed the certification exam, giving me hands on experience in animal health and clinical care. I also completed an internship at a veterinary hospital, where I assisted with patient exams, treatments, and daily operations. Most recently, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained valuable experience in managing group play, understanding canine behavior, and ensuring each dog’s safety and happiness. My background has given me a well-rounded understanding of animal needs from medical care to playtime and I’m dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable care for every pet I meet. I’m currently working part time and I’m also a full time student. I am mostly available nights or late afternoon. I am also pretty much always available over the weekend. I don’t currently have a dog but my roommate has a very playful pup. He’s a very good listener and extremely calm for a puppy.

About: My family has had at least one cat my entire life, even as many as 7 at one time when my mom rescued a kitten litter from a busy street. At a young age I learned to both love animals and to treat them with care. In my dad’s home we had a great big dog raised from a puppy, and as a college student I especially miss being able to take a dog on a nice summer walk. I’m currently working part-time in the evenings most days of the week. My schedule varies from week to week but I am reliably available before 3pm daily. I make time to give my cats enrichment daily and play with them in a run to get those zoomies out. My cats are slightly fat from how I like to treat them, but I do not share human food. I would do the same for any pet sitting situation in addition to following the dietary guidelines if your pet needs to eat less treats. Additionally, I would be taking my own tax of pets and ear scratches if the client is willing.
