“Tara did a fantastic job on a rather unusual assignment that I had for her, which involved not only taking care of my adult dog and puppy at my house for three nights, but also taking care of my cousin’s puppy, also at my house during the same time, who had never previously met my dogs. She also had her own dog with her, making it a dog party of four! Everybody had a great time, and Tara sent us photos multiple times a day of the dogs playing and hanging out together. Will definitely be calling her again soon for further jobs!”

I am at the farm full time with my son and all our animals. Except for when we are out checking on our fur friends We have a huge fenced in part of our yard safe for all dogs. Lima is our jumping bean and can clear six foot fences. We have a full wooded acres and seasonal creek to play in. Lots of fun trails by our house and near by if pup Is allowed on car rides. We have one large dog crate inside and dog kennel outside. Note: two dogs will never be out together right away. Min two weeks bonding time before left unsupervised.

I still prioritize regular walks, enrichment, affection, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine throughout the day. I’m thoughtful about only taking bookings I can genuinely show up well for, and I value consistency, communication, and helping pets feel safe, calm, and cared for while their owners are away. Safety, trust, and attentiveness are extremely important to me when caring for animals. I take time to learn each pet’s routines, temperament, triggers, exercise needs, and comfort level so I can provide care that feels consistent and supportive for them. In my home, pets are always supervised carefully and kept on leash outside. I prioritize safe walks, enrichment, play, companionship, and calm structure rather than simply letting dogs loose in a yard. I’m attentive to body language, behavioral changes, and environmental safety, especially for anxious, senior, or sensitive pets. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful, clean, communicative, and mindful of maintaining the routines and environment pets are already comfortable with.

About: - I am home all day (just my dog and I). - I have a fully fenced yard, often featuring an agility course and splash pad. - I have an entire room full of dog toys and treats. - I'm more than happy to send you photos of your dogs while you're away (at your request), as I know how hard it can be to be away from your dog. - The home is large and spacious and is well set-up for any breed of dog. - I have a 4.5 year old female Aussie who I have trained and cared for since she was 8 weeks old. - I have lived with dogs my whole life. - I am experienced with dog training (from puppy to adult; tricks, behavior, and agility). - By default, dogs are allowed in all places of my home. - I have most dog suppliers: toys, treats, puppy pads, first aid kit, dog beds, etc. Your dog will receive my undivided attention, care, and play when they board with me (both indoors and outdoors). I will make sure your dogs receive sufficient activity (If they are healthy enough for it). If your dogs like to play fetch, they're especially in luck here. I have a fenced yard and a large dog-safe home for dogs of any age. I will only crate your dog if you request it.

About: I have both had pets of my own and watched others pets including large farm animals. I currently live in a new build that does not allow animals :( So! I walk dogs at the Humane Society as a volunteer service, and I love getting to know individual animals on a deeper level through pet sitting. I am a business owner with an almost fully online business, so my schedule is flexible throughout the day. Which means that I am generally able to easily accommodate various types of pet schedules. About: Like many people, I grew up with animals. I had multiple cats and dogs growing up. Being in the Navy and single has made it difficult to own a pet of my own, so this is the next best thing. I am currently retiring from the Navy (submarines). As such, I currently have a very open and flexible schedule. I am typically free days, nights, weekdays, and weekends! My home: I have a house full of antiques and a per would have to be exceptionally well behaved for me to be open to hosting. I also have a female cat. Your home: I anticipate sitting on your couch, and giving your pet attention when they want or need, using my phone in the meantime.
