“Cheryl did a great job taking care of my somewhat persnickety cat, Dottie while we were away for a week. She came by every day and even helped me out by watering my plants one day, which was a huge help. We got cute pics of Dottie and I came home to a happy cat and everything just as I left it. Would definitely use Cheryl again.”

“Valerie goes above and beyond for cats. Tons of pictures and the descriptive notes every day were so helpful. Whereas it has felt most people on Rover cater to dogs but are willing to check in on cats, Valerie is an actual cat expert and took amazing care of my lil guy. The only reason I’ll go with someone else is if she’s not available.”

“Macie took excellent care of my cat Torrin! He came home happy and healthy. She also provided plenty of updates and pictures of him while we were away. All in all she was the perfect host.”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and currently have one dog, three cats (one senior with chronic illnesses/daily meds), four hermit crabs, one ball python, and 10 quail. In the past, I have cared for fish, snails, horses, rabbits, ferrets, a tarantula, and a variety of birds. I am open to watching animals of all kinds! I am able to provide drop in care any time on the weekends and morning/lunchtime/evening during the work week. I am also able to provide dog boarding in my home. I work Monday-Friday but my office is in the same neighborhood as my house - and is pet friendly! For drop in care, my goal is to provide care that keeps to the pets' regular schedule as much as possible in order to ensure they feel safe and cared for. I am able to medicate cats and dogs. For in home care, I am able to accommodate up to 2 dogs from the same household. I have a large, pet friendly house and fenced back yard. All boarding dogs must be cat friendly and good with other dogs.

About: I’ve loved pets for as long as I remember. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was four, ranging from small chihuahuas to large Saint Bernards. I’m currently taking care of two younger dogs and one senior dog. I’m a recent high school graduate with a flexible schedule available both weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate morning, lunch, and dinner needs for your pet. I have experience with watching several pets from puppies to pets who have special needs at my own home. Daily pet care for me includes feeding, walking, grooming, and playtime.

“Vanessa was terrific and really put us at ease to leave our pets in her care. She was reliable and responsible with our kitties. They warmed up to her in a few days as she was a natural with them. We really are 100% pleased and feeling great about finding Vanessa.”

Erin is the best!! She gave my kitten and senior pup so much attention and they loved her right away! They were noticeably happier and more energetic after she would drop in. She was attentive, flexible, kind, and even sent a video collage of my boys after! Definitely recommend!! ✨
