“Clarissa is AMAZING!!!! We use her regularly but on this day we needed her last minute when one of our dogs refused to poop during the morning rain. We contacted her early in the AM and asked for a visit within a few hours. She quickly responded and accommodated our request, no problem! Overall, she’s very attentive and noticed that our dog chewed her blanket in the kennel that morning, and removed all the pieces before putting our dog back in after the visit. For every visit, not just this one, she takes lots of photos of the pups, who look extremely happy during the visit, and when we come home, they are exhausted! We have three rescue dogs, all with very individual quirks. Clarissa paid close attention when we initially explained it all. Even with the three of them at one time, she is very mindful of their individual personalities and gives each of them the special attention they need. We are very grateful for finding Clarissa on Rover!!”

“Jessica was wonderful! She kept me updated like I asked and sent photos every time - she ended up taking my new favorite photo of one of my dogs, too 🥹 Jessica was kind, thorough, and communicative. She was exactly what we needed, perfectly trustworthy, and reliable. We don’t know much of anyone in our town yet as we just moved, so we were very nervous with leaving our anxious dogs already. But Jessica’s care for our fur babies allowed us to enjoy our time away with little to no worries, leaving us confident that they were in good hands. We are so grateful, and will definitely look for her availability next time we need some help with our girls!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and currently have one dog, three cats (one senior with chronic illnesses/daily meds), four hermit crabs, one ball python, and 10 quail. In the past, I have cared for fish, snails, horses, rabbits, ferrets, a tarantula, and a variety of birds. I am open to watching animals of all kinds! I am able to provide drop in care any time on the weekends and morning/lunchtime/evening during the work week. I am also able to provide dog boarding in my home. I work Monday-Friday but my office is in the same neighborhood as my house - and is pet friendly! For drop in care, my goal is to provide care that keeps to the pets' regular schedule as much as possible in order to ensure they feel safe and cared for. I am able to medicate cats and dogs. For in home care, I am able to accommodate up to 2 dogs from the same household. I have a large, pet friendly house and fenced back yard. All boarding dogs must be cat friendly and good with other dogs.

“Alexis was very flexible and kept us up to date. We had to make last minute changes to our travel plans and she worked with us very well. She took very good care of our little pup :) Thank you Alexis!”

“What a wonderful experience! Kristin Lynn always takes such good care of my cat and sends great photos. She’s communicative and super punctual, and I know my cat is safe with her. He even gets on her lap which is something that usually takes a while for him! Would recommend without hesitation.”

“Vanessa is amazing!! She took great care of my cat. Her thoughtfulness and consistent updates took the weight of being away from my furry child off my shoulders. I would definitely recommend!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been walking and caring for dogs for over 7 years, and I currently share my home with six animals of my own, so I truly understand how much our pets mean to us—they’re family. I absolutely love both dogs and cats and enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing outside, or just needs a calm companion, I’m happy to match their pace and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Because I’m a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always focus on keeping them happy, safe, and comfortable. I’m reliable, attentive, and love sending updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is having a great time. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! 🐶🐱 I'm currently working part time two days a week as a registered nurse. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my own pets and volunteering at Panhandle animal welfare society in their clinic, recovering dogs and cats after spay/neuter surgery, as well as walking dogs. When I am caring for your animals, I will be focused on their needs 100%. I've been caring for animals in foster, at the shelter where I volunteer and at my home for the last nine years.

About: Thanks for taking an opportunity to discover more about me and what I may be able to offer you, your friends, and your family. I grew up modestly but rich with pet friends. I’m a dog person at heart and most dogs know it as soon as we meet. I’m a retired military guy in the area with a wife and 2 daughters. We own a 10 year old American bulldog named LuLu. I understand the need for good, reliable pet care options. So if some Rover providers can’t support your 2 a.m. dog walk/house call request. Give me a shot, I just might be your best solution. Thanks again for considering me. I’m recently retired and finding that I have so much time and even more energy to give. If you have a schedule that is not typical of the 9-5 work day, I understand. I have the same lived experience. I don’t offer boarding services at this time due to my favorite pup LuLu and her inability to socialize with other animals in her home.
“Tiffany was great! She was available for a last minute trip and was able to easily adjust the days to match our plans. She also brought in an unexpected package that was delivered while we were away.”
“Kayle was extremely thorough and thoughtful with our cat. She was quick to respond and communicated often, and clearly. She was very accommodating and sent us regularly updates during our most recent trip out of town. Would 100% trust her with our cat again.”

About: Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. From energetic puppies to senior pets who just want a calm companion, I truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs. For the past 7 years, I’ve worked as a professional animal trainer with marine mammals—so patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are at the core of everything I do. I bring that same thoughtful, reward-based approach to working with dogs and other pets. I currently have a small Pomeranian mix of my own, so I understand just how important it is to trust someone with your four-legged family member. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being are always my top priorities—and I’ll care for them just like they’re part of my own family. Pet care fits easily into my routine alongside my 9–5 schedule. I’m available for morning and evening visits during the week, and I’m fully available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for more flexible care. I’m careful to only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and comfort level, whether in my home or yours. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and preferred routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm, safe environment. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and work to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. My goal is always to keep your pet happy, stress-free, and well cared for while you’re away.
