About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 8 years old and have years of hands-on experience through rescue work and supporting dogs of all backgrounds. I have knowledge in basic training and puppy guidance, and I bring patience, consistency, and genuine care to every dog I work with. I truly love dogs and have a strong desire to help in any way I can—whether that means extra walks, calm reassurance, or positive reinforcement. Your pup will be treated with the same love, attention, and respect I give my own. I’m an hairdresser so my schedule is VERY flexible allowing time for walks, check-ins, and attentive care. Your pets will always receive plenty of time, attention, and love in my schedule. I care for every pet as if they were my own, always prioritizing their comfort, safety, and routine. In my home or a client’s home, I follow your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to help them feel secure and relaxed. I use positive reinforcement and gentle handling, especially for puppies or dogs who may need extra patience or structure. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any special needs, and I keep owners updated so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Dylan was amazing with our dogs. Poppins has anxiety with new people but Dylan worked with her and was very patient. He went above and beyond for our dogs. I highly recommend him for any service and we will be using him again for our dogs.”

“Haley every time we use her, she does a great job. Would highly recommend her for your pet care. She remembers the routine every time and we don’t have to worry about the care our pets are receiving.”

About: I grew up on a small farm and learned at a young age the responsibilities of having animals. Care goes beyond food and water. They are in constant need of love and affection just as we need. I will give your pet the same attention I give my chihuahua Nacho and my cat Toby. I’m retired so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable visits, walks and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available morning, afternoon, evening and weekends. While caring for them in your home I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable and following their normal routine to keep a stress free environment while you’re away.
About: -I have had and cared for animals my entire life - from dogs to cats to hamsters/guineapigs...you name it, I have cared for it. -My husband and I work from home so any animal who boards with us will receive 24/7 care, daily walks, and plenty of play time! -We have 2 medium/large dogs, Honey (8y/o) & Berny (2 y/o) [both spayed], so all animals that stay with us must be dog friendly. Our girls are very friendly and playful and would love to meet a new friend! -I am comfortable administering medications if needed. I am a remote employee that has an at home office setup, so most of my day consists of staying at home. We already do multiple walks a day with our own girls so your animal will get plenty of exercise and play time. I am available all days of the week when I am not traveling for work. We have a fully fenced, large backyard for potty breaks. We live in a quiet neighborhood, so walks are always low stimulation for the animals. I stand by the motto "treat them as your own"...I care very deeply for my animals and would treat your babies as if they were my own.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life. I have two dogs of my own so I’ll be sure to care for your pets as much as I care for mine. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m usually free in the morning and evening. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. If your pet is crate trained I can provide if needed.
About: I'm an animal lover through and through! I pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can catch what a pet's really telling me, whether that's stress, excitement, or just wanting some space. I love getting creative with enrichment too: calming music, puzzle-style treats, or whatever helps a pet feel most at ease. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn what makes each one comfortable. My challenge is to be best friends by the end of the visit! I work a hybrid, mostly remote job, meaning your pet gets real company, not just quick check-ins. I'm flexible with routines and happy to work around walk times, feeding schedules, or whatever keeps their day feeling normal while you're away. (One note: I'll need WiFi access to work while I'm there.) I treat your home like I'd want mine treated; respecting boundaries, keeping things secure, and sticking closely to your pet's routine to keep their stress low. Happy to grab your mail, take out the trash, or handle any small tasks that keep your home running smoothly while you're away. I'm attentive to behavior changes and won't hesitate to reach out if something seems off. Your pet's safety and comfort come first, always.
“Brittan was AMAZING in every way. She was punctual, responsible, and SO sweet with my pups. They loved her! She communicated really well and did an amazing job. Could not recommend Brittan enough. I had never used rover before so I was a little nervous but I will be using Brittan again!”

“Kara took exceptional care of my two elderly dogs! I never had to worry about them while away. I absolutely will recommend her and use her in the future. She is amazing. Thank you, Kara.”
About: I grew up in a house with animals most of my life. I currently have three big dogs! I’ve had cats in the past, and helped friends and neighbors with walking and caring for their dogs while they were out of town. I currently only work three days a week so I’ll have plenty of free time to take your pet babies out for a walk or a potty break on my days off! I have three dogs of my own so I will not able to board any dogs but would be happy to stop by your house feed and walk or any other cares for your animals while you’re out of town.

“Emma was such a great kitty sitter! I have a highly social cat and was nervous at the thought of leaving her for the weekend. Emma asked questions and took notes to ensure my little fur baby was well cared for and felt loved while we were away. Emma took pics of kitty every visit which was very reassuring.”

“Kirby stepped in last minute and no questions asked when my usual and backup were both sick! Appreciated the willingness to video chat prior. Left a detailed report card and sent cute pics. Will gladly have Kirby back!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Edmond. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
