About: Not only have I owned my own dogs but I have been in the pet training business for 15 years. I have even trained service dogs for wounded Veterans. Most of my time is dedicated to training service dogs so I am pretty flexible with my time and can walk and care for your pets. I would care for clients pets as if they were my own with love and great attention to their needs. Examples include make sure they are in a safe environment, feed, watered, give medication if needed, walked, loved and happy.

“Ben was amazing!! It was our first time leaving our sweet cat under the care of a sitter, and he was so kind and attentive. He sent great updates and built trust with our cat, who can be quite shy. We highly, highly, highly recommend Ben!”

“Everett is great. He developed an instant rapport with my dog, Vito, and it was obvious to me that Vito was comfortable with him and his calm energy immediately. In the meet and greet, he asked all the right questions. He really knows dogs and anticipated all of my concerns. He's a great communicator too. I recommend him highly!”

“Olivia was an absolute pleasure to work with. We felt immediately at ease with leaving our little kitty in her care. She arrived promptly on time every day and spent time with our cat, along with feeding and cleaning her. I highly recommend Olivia's services!”

About: Pet care starts by taking the time to find out what is important to the pet owner and what is the key to keeping their pet family members happy! Aside from that, all pets I find thrive with loving time and attention. I strive to be considerate, reliable, respectful of each owner's home, cleanly and above all, to make sure I work to minimize any pet stress as I care for them in their owners absence. Part of my past includes 10+ glorious years with my Aussie, Robbie. (As seen in my pics.) He is dearly missed and now I find myself lucky enough to care for very special pets as needed. Please check out my reviews from their lovely owners and I am here to answer any questions regarding my services. Thanks and I look forward to meeting you all and your pet family members. - Christian I am fortunate enough to work in Real Estate and Interior Design. This allows me a lot of flexibility to care for your pets throughout the day. Depending on the needed service, I am happy to office out of each owner's home as long as there is internet access. In most cases my showings may take me away for a maximum of 3-4 hours. Accommodations can be made on the pet's needs as I have the ability to schedule my appointments as allowed. I take the utmost care for each client's home without question. My goal is to leave any home in the same condition or better. Please see me for any additional information or questions.

“Anna was an exceptional dog sitter for our senior cavapoo! She was extremely caring and trustworthy! We never worried at all while we were away. We loved her communication! She was very thorough and sent us the cutest pictures of our dog and notes to match of how she was doing when she came to visit her. We will absolutely call Anna again!”

“Katherine was great! She was super flexible working through some schedule challenges and took great care of my cats. She had great communication and included lots of pictures. I would definitely book her again and recommend her to anyone.”

About: Hi! I’m Andrea. I am a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all kinds. I’ve raised and loved Great Danes, golden retrievers, chihuahuas, and several cat breeds, so I’m comfortable with everything from big gentle giants to tiny divas. I’ve also personally pet sat for a wide range of breeds and temperaments, including senior pets and animals with behavioral challenges. Whether your pup needs patience and structure or your cat just wants quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and cared for like family. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I’m free all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so I have plenty of time for longer visits, walks, or overnight stays. During the week, I get off work around 4:30 p.m. and can also stop by during my lunch break if needed. I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pets get the care and attention they deserve. When I’m caring for pets in someone else’s home, I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed in their own space. I stick to their usual routine, whether that’s a morning walk, cuddles on the couch, or just quiet company, and follow any instructions you leave to a T. I treat your home with the same care and respect I’d want for mine, and I’ll always keep you in the loop with sweet updates and photos. My goal is to make things as stress-free as possible for both you and your pets while you’re away!

About: I grew up with multiple dogs from golden retrievers to hound/lab mixes, so I have experience with different dog personalities and energy levels. In the past few years, I’ve gotten more experience pet sitting for friends including both dogs and cats and have really enjoyed it. I’m on summer break from medical school, so my schedule is fairly flexible which means I am able to cater to a variety of schedules that work best for your pet. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable while you are away. I’m attentive to details and instructions you provide for any specific needs your pet has.

About: My family owned a German Shepard, boston terrier mix for 11.5 years before we had to put her down in 2021. Since then I have enjoyed helping walk and watch my friends dogs when they are out of town. I’m currently a professional swimmer and swim coach. My work takes place in the late afternoon into the evenings. So I have a flexible morning/afternoon schedule to help with your pet care needs. I look forward to checking in on your pets while you are away and giving them some love. I will love on your pets and follow your protocols for meeting your pets needs.

“Alyssa did a great job looking after our two cats during our trip. She gave us detailed feedback on her visits - we felt well informed and that put us at ease to their care. Thanks again!”

About: I’ve taken care of family dogs my whole life. My apartment building doesn’t allow dogs, so if I can’t have my own, I’d love to help take care of other people’s doggos. I work weekday afternoons/evenings, so I’m free all morning. I would love to have a routine of walking dogs in the mornings, especially since I can’t have my own. I’ll even walk in the Minnesota winter!! I cannot bring your dog to my home, but I’m happy to follow any of your routines and schedules at yours. I’ve got lots of experience with big dogs like Rottweilers and I’m not easily intimidated.

“Kendal kept our cats happy and healthy while we were gone. She even got my shy cat to trust her and come out of hiding. She also sent us lots of pictures of the cats and gave us updates about what they were doing. Highly recommend!”

Hannah P.
“Hannah is a great candidate for Rover. Her “super power” is her ability to connect with animals. She adores pets and they seem to trust and love her. She has worked in pet stores and has trained dogs, including many service dogs. While we have not had a dog since we moved out of the family home into a townhouse, I would have no qualms about entrusting my pet’s care to Hannah. She puts the animal first. I have seen her working with service animals in training as well as around other pets in the home environment. Hannah is kind, conscientious and always eager to learn more to add to her knowledge of animals.”

Christian K.
“Christian is a fabulous dog walker/ sitter. He has stayed in my home on several occasions when I have been out of town to manage and pamper my 2 dogs. One is a rescue, old- lady boston/rat terrier and the other is a big 'ole yellow lab with terrible manners but so loving. He walked them ( together not an easy feat) twice daily and pampered them while staying. I came home to happy and relaxed dogs= Winning!! Don't hesitate to reach out to him- he does it all with ease and is simply delightful! Thanks Christian, can't wait until my next trip!”

Andrea O.
“Andrea had taken care of my Great Dane, Laila many times. It's obvious she loves dogs! She was so good with Laila, very loving, caring and on top of all the special care that she needed. Laila was a beautiful black Great Dane. Unfortunately, Laila ended up with some behavioral issues and I was very concerned that I would not find someone that I could trust as she needed a firm, yet loving, patient and kind caregiver when I was not around. Andrea came through and fulfilled all that we needed! Andrea gave her that special attention, took her on walks, laid with her; Laila loved to cuddle. Andrea texted me often with updates, sent pictures and video clips of Laila having fun or sleeping. Andrea walked her often for me, dog sat for up to a week at a time, in my home, and even messaged me to ask how she was doing when a few weeks passed without seeing her. I could rely on her in a pinch if I needed help with Laila. I completely trusted Andrea in my home, with my beautiful Dane and to be responsive when I messaged her. When Laila passed, Andrea was very supportive. I highly recommend Andrea for walking your dogs, weekend and weeklong sitting.”

Megan M.
“We've had many dog sitters for our dog, Eleanor, but Megan has without a doubt been the best. Eleanor is a rather shy dog with quite a few (lovable) quirks and Megan handles her exceptionally well. Megan consistently entertains her, gives frequent updates, and we've never had any issues on her watch. Megan truly cares for animals and is extremely attentive to their wellbeing. I can confidently say she'd be an excellent pet sitter for Rover.”

Kaija & Chris J.

“Kaija helped me in a real pinch on a Saturday night! I could not thank her enough. I felt so at ease knowing my pup was taken care of.”

Olivia A.
“Olivia is a 45 year old in a 25 year old body. She is the most responsible person I know. She loves pets. She has cared for our elderly Cockapoo who needs special attention and help. Olivia will be prompt and cater to your pets needs. You would be crazy not to hire Olivia she’s the best. She will not disappoint you.”

Grace & Luke T.

“Took great care of Minnie and plan on using again.”

Edina dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emma was fantastic with our girls. We had a bit of a last minute snafu. Emma was so gracious as to take care of our girls with practically no notice . She was very flexible and communicated the entire time. Our three dogs were happy as could be when we got home.

Madeleine looked after Pico on short notice and I am so glad she was available! She did a great job with Pico - walking and playing in the backyard and in the house. She was very responsive and thoughtful and provided updates. I recommend her to anyone looking for a caring person to watch their pets. I definitely plan to reach out to her again!

Sydney made the drop-in process a breeze! She visited our house a couple days before to meet Honey and talk through details of the drop-in. On the day of the visit, Sydney sent us updates and made sure Honey was well taken care of. We will definitely be booking again!
