“Absolutely phenomenal sitter and we will 100% ask her to look after our kitty again. She loved her just as much as we do and we can’t be more thankful. She was a great houseguest and she was a great sitter.”

“Jamie watched our two dogs for a few nights for us. This was our first experience using Rover and having anyone outside our family watch them. Jamie was so considerate to that. She came to meet them in advanced, asked detailed questions, wrote notes and while we were gone she sent videos/updates/pictures of how well they were doing often!! Definitely recommend”

About: My pet care career goes back 20 years to when I started dog-sitting for Stella, the black lab across the street. Since then, my clientele has grown to encompass many friends and family members who trust me with their animals. I pride myself on adapting to the needs of clients and their pets, adjusting my approach to give custom care to your beloved creatures. I have time to care for pets throughout the day and overnight. Because I have a job with a flexible schedule, I can adapt my routine to suit your needs. Your pet's safety is my #1 priority, and I want to do everything I can to ensure you feel good trusting me with their care. I let animals approach me first and get comfortable before I go in for snuggles, kisses, or pets. I pay close attention to the body language of your pet and other animals in the environment, avoiding any potentially unsafe interactions or situations. I actively supervise pets in my care, staying alert to any signs of danger or illness. I am also certified in Pet CPR through the RECOVER Initiative, and I am familiar with using the emergency clinic at MSU and the Greater Lansing emergency vet in Williamston. Lastly, I understand the anxiety of leaving your pet in the care of another person, so I respond promptly when you contact me with questions or concerns.

“Best dog friend we have ever found. Extremely attentive, stayed with the dogs the entire time and sent lots of pictures and updates. Elizabeth made sure our thunderstorm-shy puppy had his meds well in advance of the storm and even let one of the puppies sleep on the bed with her (turns out he does not share the bed well). We cannot recommend Elizabeth highly enough and will always check with her first when we go out of town!”

“Sierra was wonderful to work with! She stayed with my 9 month old Labrador, and kept up with his high energy needs. Sierra was very respectful and willing to work on commands while we were away, as well as kept our home picked up! She was very easy to talk to and work with!”

“Morgan did a fantastic job housesitting for our young puppy. She did a great job communicating and left our house very clean. Would definitely have her watch our dog again!”

“Katie is a great dog sitter! Our pups took to her immediately when they met her. She kept us posted daily as to their well-being while we were out, and followed instructions to the letter. She asked us questions about their care if she was uncertain, and even about other things she noticed around the house that she could help with. I highly recommend Katie and know we will call on her again in the future!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life but really started taking care of them when I was about 5. Throughout my childhood I had 6 dogs, all of different breeds and sizes. I frequently dog sit for my boss when he goes home (from out of state) or on vacation. I also have experience with cats, turtles, ferrets, rabbits, and possums. I’m normally able to walk/stop in to visit after works hours during the week (5:30pm). I have a lot of availability on the weekends, when I’d be able to stay overnight or have dogs stay overnight. I do live in an apartment complex with lots of friendly neighbors and their dogs! There are great walking paths throughout my whole complex so there would be no issues going on long walks! I’m all for snuggling on the furniture, as I want your babies to feel as comfortable as possible!

“Abby was amazing! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone other than family or a close friend. Abby made us feel at ease, comfortable, and worry free on our wedding weekend! Abby has a great personality, attentive, and communicated with us. Gracie was looking through the house for her after we left so we know she loved her as well! We definitely plan on using Abby again. Highly recommend!”

“Nick is truly the best! Nick is a great guy and so trustworthy. We left our yellow lab, Bodi with Nick for 5 days and came back to a spotless house and a well taken care of dog. Nick was thoughtful enough to give us daily updates on how things were going along with pictures. He is truly a natural with dogs and can tell how much he loves animals, our Bodi took to him right away. Definitely will be requesting Nick for future dog care and highly recommend him. Nick is a true gem who went above and beyond without being asked.”

“Chris has watched Sadie 2 times now, he has taken excellent care of our home and our very anxious old lady. He’s very enjoyable person to chat with as well and made us feel very comfortable entrusting him. 10/10 would recommend and will continue to use him exclusively if his schedule permits it.”

“Cari did a fantastic job watching my two dogs and cat while I was on vacation! My normally anxious dog was super comfortable with her and I could tell they were well taken care of. Both dogs were taken on walks every day and the house was left very tidy. Cari checked in every day and I felt totally relaxed on the trip knowing that the animals were in her care! I would definitely book again with her in the future.”

“Nicolas house-sat and is great with my pup. Sent daily updates and photos which made me feel comfortable. Mozbark loved him, as well. Would definitely recommend using Nicolas in the future.”

About: Hey fur-baby parents! My name is Anel, and I am a a recent graduate from Michigan State University. During 2020, I worked part time at a doggy daycare and pet boarding facility called Brook-Falls. I worked with pups as small as 2 month old King Charles Spaniels, to 120lb Great Danes (aka: lap dogs). I am very enthusiastic about my love for animals’ wellbeing, and have completed over 16 hours of animal behavior videos and training, in order to learn what it takes to be a great animal caregiver. After leaving Brook-Falls, I started my own side business called Nel’s Bark Park Haul. When I’m at home for breaks in Wisconsin, I carpool dogs in my community to a dog park located near my home. Through my Bark Park Haul, I have grown clientele and expanded to drop-ins, dog walking, puppy training, and house sitting. While I am at school, away from my park group and other furry friends, I’d love to get to know some new furry folks of the Lansing area! I have experience working with all sized dogs and cats. I can’t wait to meet your babies! :) I am very flexible and eager to be where you need me to go for your pets. We can work together to suit your needs. 😊 You lay down the rules of your house, and I’ll make sure your four-legged family members are comfortable and safe! I’ll keep the floors clean, trash lids closed, and a smile on your pet’s face.

“Kaitlin has been an absolute lifesaver for us when we're out of town. She takes such great care of our 10-month old puppy, Rookie. Since he is a just a pup, he requires extra love and attention and Kaitlin always goes above and beyond to make sure he's well cared for, from treats and playtime to food, water, and all the pets in between. We have an extremely odd schedue and Kaitlin is always happy to drop by when we need her. Rookie adores her, and we do too! We feel so lucky to have her help as we raise our wild boy.
