About: I am an emergency nurse 2 days a week and a mom to 2 crazy girls full time. My availability on the weekends can vary because of my nursing job. I’m available early mornings and late evenings if needed, and I have Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8-4:30 wide open! I’ve had a dog my entire life and currently have a 7 year old rescue! About: I have owned breeds from Yorkies to Saint Bernards. I have no breed prejudice. I have experience with Rottweilers, pit bulls, bulldogs, etc. so I have no problem caring for the breeds others may not be comfortable with. I worked for a pet store for a while so I have an experience handling multiple dogs at a time, specifically young puppies so I can handle a challenge! I have experience giving medications, grooming/bathing, nail trimming, walking. I am currently a stay at home mom to an infant, So the majority of my day is open to provide services! I understand some animals need specific routine and will follow your directions very strictly. While I do not have any pets currently, I have had dogs and other animals all my life (30 years). I have a lot of experience with them in many capacities. I have experience with senior dogs as well. I would love to give your pet all the attention and snuggles they need. I will take amazing care of them and keep you updated as much as you prefer throughout their stay with me! Alexis took very good care of Minnie over a 4-day visit, our longest time away. Minnie is super shy and tends to stay under the bed and not come out for anybody, but Alexis has been doing an amazing job of coaxing her out. On one visit, she even had Minnie purring and out in the living room, which is quite an accomplishment. Alexis took care of all Minnie's needs and even took her food bowl closer to her hiding spot on those visits when she was not going to come out. We think that over time, Minnie will get more comfortable with Alexis and will come out of hiding. We would definitely love to work with Alexis again and would not hesitate to recommend her.
