About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.

About: I grew up with a cat as part of the household. I've taken care of cats since I was 12. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and most of my past jobs have involved them in some way! I have been actively looking after cats, dogs, horses and other critters for close to 20 years. I treat every animal and home as if they were my own and have numerous positive experiences from pet owners. If you’re in the Hanover or McSherrystown area and are in need of critter care, please reach out! My work week varies as I currently work four days during the week. The days sometimes differ from one week to the next but I can definitely schedule certain days a week in advance. I am also available late afternoons on the days that I do work. My husband and I have firefighter/EMT schedules so we're often home during the day, and handle emergencies well. We have an irregular schedule in my house. About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). I always make sure to keep my client's homes clean and organized, and pay special attention to any extra tasks I'm giving, such as watering plants (I have dozens of plant babies!), changing the temperature, emptying dehumidifiers, and retrieving packages. “Pamela totally saved us with a last minute request! She was very accommodating to my old senior Mochi and was able to arrange a quiet area for him to rest as well as a fenced outdoor area for him to roam. I was a little worried letting someone else watch Mochi since he's old dog ailments and we're from out of town, but Pamela gave me such a peace of mind with her experience with senior dogs and it showed with how great she took care of my ol'boy! I will definitely be back in touch with Pamela next time we're in the area and need a dogsitter :)”

This was our 1st experience with a stranger caring for our pets and we were extremely happy with Michelle and her family.
