“This is the first time that we decided to try Rover. We needed to be out of town for two weeks and one of our dogs just had surgery requiring extra care. Edmy and her husband were amazing at helping us out. We had them come two times per day for two weeks. They showed up every time we scheduled and were so good with both our dogs. They were able to handle the care of our dog that required more attention. They took both dogs outside and stayed outside for long periods of time. Each time they checked the food and changed the water for dogs. Kept their cage clean and comfortable. We were sent pictures, informative notes, and communication was very reliable. We will definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them. Our doggies are going to miss them!”

About: I've Love Pet Sitting each new pet is like a small new adventure i love getting to know your pets and building relationships with you. I Work part time 1-2 times a week 4 hours only I’m currently looking to dog sit full time im available pretty much all the time.im used to short notice and long term stays with them. I currently don’t have a dog at my house. But at my parents house they have a pool,AC and a fenced yard with astro turf.

About: I’ve had pets all my life. From lizards, to birds, cats and dogs, you name it. For the last 3 years I have been pet sitting for friends, neighbors, coworkers, and friends of friends as an in house sitter. I am currently working full time, however, my work life is very flexible with flexible hours. I can do middle of the day check ins if that is what you would prefer with no problem. I do spend a lot of time with the pets late afternoons to late evenings if I am not staying in the residence. When caring for pets in your home, I encourage a very detailed day to day that your pet has so I do not break from that routine for them as much as possible. It’s my hope for you and your pet to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. No needs or routine is too inconsiderate for me.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I could remember, I personally have a dog named Baxter that I have taken care of sense I was 14 years old. I have taken care of a newfoundland poodle mix named Arlo for the past two years as well. I am currently training in my off season as a professional hockey player. I have two months off and nothing but love to give for dogs. I am in need of a summer job and this would be the perfect fit! Pet/animal care and safety is my number one priority. I know from personal experience what it is like when someone does not care for your pet when paid and expected to. I no longer use boarders because of past traumatic experiences and because of opportunities like Rover.

About: I am a loving mother of 2 and I will care for your pets as if they were one of the kids. I have dog sit before and loved it. When I was younger I use to volunteer at the animal shelter with my great-grandma and that's the reason I love animals today. I have flexible hours and can work around your schedule, anything you need I can do from dog baths to walks at the park. We also adopted a cat a couple of years ago, and we just love him to pieces. We also just adopted a dog that we have previously sat for. I currently work at a nursing home, my boyfriend and I work opposite schedules so someone is always at home with your fur babies. Also with it being summer I have my two kiddos help out. I will make sure each animal has proper care including a clean safe cozy shelter, clean water, regular bathroom breaks, going on walks for at least half an hour, who knows it could be longer, and so much more!

About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (I would never do this with a dog that is not mine!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so you furbaby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure visibility when I am just resting. There is a regular metal crate and a spare room dedicated to any overwhelmed doggy.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats for friends and family over the years. Along with my own two girls, a senior dog and a senior cat. I have a huge heart for animals and love them so much!! Would love to meet your furry friend Currently working part time during the week days. Would be able to check in / walk your buddy for you before work (9am) , on break around (12pm), or after work (4pm). Weekends fluctuate but will be available either in the morning or evening I treat every pet I meet like they’re my own. I will bring comfort and relief to your buddy whenever you need! I love spending time outside; throwing a ball, going on a run.

About: Hello! I am new here at Rover. I’ve had dogs and cats all throughout my life. When I was a kid, I rehabilitated hurt animals that I found outside or on the road-caring is second nature for me. In 2018 I adopted my dog Beauty, a black mastiff whom I had for almost eight years and sadly, she recently passed away. She is missed by many!!! So I am here trying to get my pet fill. I will always provide great care for your pets. I can’t wait to get started and meet your pets! Monday through Thursday I am available 730pm-midnight. I am available Friday and Saturday 9 am until 330 P.M. Sunday I am mostly unavailable. May have some wiggle room in the late morning. While caring for your pet, I will be sure to always keep an eye on them. I am very attentive and follow your instruction and wishes. I respect you as well as your pets needs.

About: We are a husband/wife team. We have owned and loved pets most of our lives. Especially, cats and dogs. We give them that extra special attention they are craving when you are gone. Clint always loved brushing out his doggies fur. We both love to walk and play with our furry friends. We are both very easy going and friendly. Clint is legally blind. He doesn’t need a cane. Leah is my right hand. We do everything together, and together we make a great team! Clints disability is NOT a complication. We have pet sat several times over many years. We both have a completely clean background. We have never had a problem with drugs or alcohol. After years of pet sitting for family and friends, we thought, We should make our own little business! About: Hello fellow dog owners! My name is Kevin and I am a fun, loving dog person! My partner and I are new to Fort Wayne, recently moving here from Anchorage, Alaska (yes, we drove!). With a 14 year old senior pooch of my own, I understand the incredible bond we have with our beloved friends. I have had Brita since she was 2 months old, and now that she is a subtle senior, her and I have built a friendship that is forever lasting. Having to leave your best friend at home alone is one of the greatest fears and anxieties a pet owner could imagine! That is why I want to help out other dog owners and make sure your fur-baby is well taken care of and provided for, so you can feel stress free. Having a pet of my own has really built up a trust of my circle around me. Friends and family members feel comfortable asking me to watch their animal from time to time, which is a very rewarding feeling. With me your pooch will have plenty of play time, walks and many belly rubs! UPDATE: My partner and I recently adopted a 4-month-old Beagle puppy named Juno! My amazing senior dog, Brita (my trusty co-pilot), has completely embraced her role as big sister and is already helping teach Juno the house rules. Welcoming a new puppy into our home has brought back so many great memories from when Brita was little, while also giving me hands-on experience with puppy training all over again. It's been a wonderful reminder of the patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement that help young dogs thrive! Whether you have an energetic new puppy or a sweet senior dog, I'm confident I can provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to their needs. My experience caring for both a senior dog and a growing puppy has given me a deeper understanding of how to meet dogs where they are at every stage of life :) I am currently not working, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pup! I am available during the week and most weekends. When I am at a clients home, I make sure I ask all the necessary questions, and follow their detailed instructions for their pet. I care for them the same way I would at my house. All the attention! Having used Rover for my own dog, I am the type of person that needs reassurance that my pet is okay. I will send you all of the photos, videos and texts that will keep your mind calm. It is a huge safety factor for me to know my animal is being taken care of.

About: I have a dog of my own and understand the responsibility that comes with taking care of your pet. I am a frequent attendee at the dog parks and as long as your dog is vaccinated I’m sure they would have a grand time there as well. I can feed, walk, run, and even pick up your dogs poop. I understand the responsibility that comes with pet care as I have a dog of my own who I’ve raised since he was a wee pup. I am able to work with pets of all sizes as many of my friends and family have had me watch their pets while they were away.

About: My parents had cats growing up and as an adult I have fish, a dachshund, and two buff orange tabby cats of my own. I have experience doing drop-ins and house sitting for friends and family. I love all animals, but especially enjoy checking in on cats in an enriching way when their owners are away. I am working full-time as a client advocate from 9-5pm. I could do drop-ins early before work or after 5:00pm most week days. I can do more frequent drop- ins on the weekends. I will always check water, food, litter boxes, and cat behavior for comfort and health reasons. I have no problem working automatic cat feeders, feeding raw, or other types of food. I will scoop boxes and sweep around them at each visit to maintain cleanliness. Play and enrichment are important to me, so I will engage your cat in play if they desire.
