About: I have taken a wide variety of dogs from a Chihuahua to a German shepherd. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, give medications and play with their dogs. I have also stayed overnight servers different times. This has given a wide variety of experience with different cares and types of dogs. I am currently looking for part time summer jobs. I am fairly flexible and could work a variety of days and hours. I am able to pick up jobs at a short notice. I have a two weeks I would not be able to work but am free the rest of the summer. I am not currently in an apartment that would not suite dogs. I am comfortable and have experience with pet care in the home. I would be able to stay or night or visit throughout the day. I can walk, play and crate dogs if needed.

“Joscelyn was great with our puppy! We loved getting updates and pictures while we were away. Will definitely be back!”

“Brian was fantastic! Very responsive, easy to work with!”

About: I've been a dog owner since I was 12. My husband, Ryan, and I have experience with all types of dogs and a neighborhood full of friendly dogs that's great for long walks. We do have 2 children, ages 7 and 8. They are NOT be around during traditional "work" hours, 8:30am-5pm M-F, but will be present on evenings and weekends. They are calm and respectful around animals and will never be left alone with your pet. I work from home 5 days per week, and am home most weekends. I own my own company and only work part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility for walks and playtime. We live in a urban walking-friendly neighborhood, just 1 block from the River Greenway trail. There is plenty of space in my office for a dog to curl up and make itself at home. In nicer months, I work outside on our shaded open-air porch, and would love for your dog to join me!

About: I always grew up around pets and animals. Since I was 13, my family had 6 rescue dogs at once! I was responsible for feeding, walking, training, and playing with our pups when I was home, and it brought me a lot of joy. My roommates, family, friends, and neighbors have also entrusted me with their furry friends, and it has always been a great pleasure to care for them. I have immense love for all animals and would love to give your dog an adventurous walk they'll never forget! I am a recent MSU graduate, with nothing but an open schedule. I thought the best way to fill it was to get some exercise with a K9 pal! I strive to be an outstanding guest in your home, while also being a responsible, mindful, and engaging pet sitter! I am excellent at instruction if you have any intricate, specific requests. I am not yet taking pets into my home, but I am definitely open to it once I've had repeated visits with a pet.

About: When I was in middle school, I regularly took care of my neighbor's 2 dachshunds when she would leave town. I have experience with older dogs. My cousins have me watch their dogs whenever they are out of town. One of their elderly dogs needed carried down the stairs to go outside. My sister has me take in her 9 year old doggo every time she is out of town. My mini poodle loves walks, and he required a lot of training to get used to the leash. He is a rescue, and he is amazing after a year and a half of getting used to his quirks and having to re-train him on pretty much everything since he was kept in a cage for the majority of his life until we adopted him. I am a returning student to PFW, and I am currently only working weekends. I am available to walk your dog during the week before, between, or after classes. Our dog does not leave the yard, but I have a tie-out in my backyard for when my sister's dog stays with us. Our yard is not completely enclosed, so if I am watching your dog at my house, they would need to be comfortable on a lead. If I am watching your dog at your house, whatever setup you have is fine by me! Whatever your dog is used to is going to be more comfortable for them.

“Julia did an amazing job. She was prompt and easy to work with, she connected quickly with our dog, and she went above and beyond in the time she devoted to our pet. We will definitely look to work with Julia again in the future.”

17. Kelly & Ryan B.
“Kelly and Ryan Benton are two of the most dependable, responsible people I know! They had two dogs for a long time and they were very loved. Kelly and Ryan would be wonderful and respectful people who can be trusted to take care of others dogs. They have two boys, who are old enough to know how to appropriately treat dogs. The kids helped care for our dog for a week and were so sweet and excited to help care for them.”

18. Chrystel L.

“For many years, Chrystel has been kind and helpful with my dogs Toulouse (Treeing Walker Coonhound) and especially Buffy (Golden Retriever). I would frequently bring Buffy to work at MSU and Chrystel would play with her and take her for walks on campus. Chrystel is patient and responsible and always has a great attitude. She loves dogs, dogs love her, and it shows in the care and friendliness she gives them. I give Chrystel the highest recommendation to help you with your beloved pets. She's the best!”
