Pet care is my full-time job, so I'm available for walks, check-ins, and housesitting. I currently have 2 cats & 1 dog. When I'm not working, I enjoy cuddles from my cats or taking my dog hiking or to the beach.

No breed preferences, but I have always had cats and large dogs myself. To care for your pet, I do need to know if they have any fears/allergies to avoid any incidents.
A typical day
Activities are dependent upon your fur baby's needs, whether that means walks, playtime, or cuddling! I believe in positive reinforcement, and allowing dogs to follow their noses (within reason!).

I have had cats and large dogs my entire life, but professionally I have experience working in a pet boarding/daycare facility, as well as veterinary assistant experience. I am capable of giving medications & performing CPR should the need arise. I have some training experience, so can follow any regime your dog is on. I believe in positive reinforcement. I have worked with various breeds, and acknowledge their differences based on needed playtime & walks. I have a passion for keeping animals safe, happy, & healthy. I enjoy getting to know the different personality quirks of each individual animal, whether they are a goofy puppy, grumpy cat, talkative bird, or cuddly guinea pig. For all of my services, I suggest a meet-&-greet in advance for your peace of mind, your animals comfort, & to give me a sense of your animals needs.

She has been very patient with my dogs who are simply not used to being with someone other than me. The patience is appreciated as I know the relationship will grow and the trust will also build. The situation my dogs are in has been stressful and having her come in and spend time with them is helpful to them and myself. I’m very grateful to have found such a patient animal focused person for my dogs.

Tonie took great care of our 3 dogs for a week while we were on a road trip. She sent lots of photos and always responded to questions in a timely manner. We would definitely use her again!
