Home for disabled & abled dogs!
I have experience caring for dogs at all stages of life, from puppies to senior and those with special needs. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. I have also raised and house-trained two puppies into adulthood, who are still with my family today! One of them is a unique mix of Belgian Malinois, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, and Rottweiler (Try saying that five times fast!). We had his DNA tested, so we can now confidently confirm his impressive mutt status. His high energy and intelligence required consistent training and socialization. After raising him, it's safe to say that I'm comfortable with puppy routines, basic obedience training, and how to handle a wide range of temperaments and needs. What sets me apart is that I take the time to understand each dog's routine, personality and comfort level so they receive the best care that fits their individual needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away.

This was our 1st time using Rover, or any similar app/company. Our request was last minute, involved a partial weekend, and although we had travel dates, fight times weren't locked in. Yet, Wai immediately responded, did a meet & greet a few hrs later, and did final booking same day once flights were booked. Wai is extremely friendly & dog knowledgeable, and August (boxer) was immediately comfortable! Wai worked with our travels with no issues. In addition, she was very accessible while we were away, with daily messages & pics/videos. Although August was excited to see us, it was obvious she was happy and had been cared for with love. We will definitely be repeat clients, if Wai will have us. Thank you Wai & Cody, for everything! 🙂

Schedule
I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.
A typical day
No two dogs are the same, so no two days are either! If your pup is full of energy, we'll keep busy with games of fetch, tug-of-war, walks, or a game of tag around the house. If your dog would rather spend the day lounging, that's perfectly fine too. I'm always happy to be their couch buddy, hand out belly rubs, cuddles, and all the love they're willing to accept. I also have enrichment toys and treat puzzles to keep their curious minds occupied. Whether your dog wants an adventure buddy, a playmate, or someone to simply keep them company while you're away, I will always make sure they feel right at home.
