About: I’ve fostered dogs with the company Animal pad in San Diego, I adopted one of those dogs and I volunteer for the Kitsap humane society. I’m recently out of the Navy and about to start school. Looking for short term income where I can have a flexible schedule on the new journey in my life. I will make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you are away and send plenty of cute pictures so you know they are cared for so you can enjoy your time.

About: I enjoyed being a pet sibling, parent and grandparent. Now I am looking forward to share my love of animals while giving you piece of mind. I'm an empty nester and retired teacher's assistant. My schedule is super flexible and I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with your best friends. I can drop in to care for your pet on your preferred schedule. I'm comfortable walking your dog around your neighborhood or a nearby park.

About: I have dog sat for a handful of people over the years. Some new clients and some faithful returning ones that become family friends. Some have needed medication and lots of walks, some just needed a friend, I love doing anything/everything. I do not currently own any pets and would love to be outside and more active. I would be available to do walks/drop ins around 3:30pm-9pm Monday-Thursday and most times Fridays-Sundays. Dog sitting availability depends on needs and pet schedule but please reach out about anything! I have worked with crates, dog doors, or dogs being inside all day and need walks/potty breaks. I hope we can work something out between us and your loved fur baby.

About: I've had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, fish, etc. I absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes. I volunteer at the SPCA in my spare time because I just can't get enough. I have a fairly flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle. I would love to set up a regular schedule so that I can plan in advance for the best care possible. I have an older Chihuahua who is very mellow and gets along with all animals and humans. I have a grassy open area for play as well as a fenced off area for off leash play.

About: I am a pet aficionado. Since I was born my family has had seven Newfoundland dogs (2 at a time), a cat and two rabbits with the occasional fish. I take my dog to the dog park every morning, and love getting active and dirty with her. I have done childcare for sixteen years and taken care of the pets in others homes during this period. From chihuahuas, to horses, to the occasional corn snake and the everyday house cat, I truly enjoy all animals. Dogs just hold a special place in my heart from how social they are, their distinct personalities and all the stress relief from interacting with them, cats because relaxing with a pur or being entertained by a spaz is truly unrivaled and rabbits because their sassy demeanor and cuteness are so much fun. I am doing remote work and my schedule currently is variable as needed. Therefore, I can mostly accommodate the requirements of any client in this regard. I have loved animals since a child, adopting from farms and rescue agencies as well as coordinating with animal welfare organizations. It's genuinely something I enjoy and love to do. I have daily exercise classes for 1-3 hours I will be attending and occasional errands / personal affairs, please expect 3-5 hours potentially away depending on the day. Please note Rover has the settings for 1-4 hour windows of left alone time as the minimum for a purpose; 24 hours for extended periods (days to weeks) for 1 person is not feasible. I will truly spend as much time as I possibly can with your pet, however for quality assurance purposes, bookings expecting 24 hour supervision for the entire sit will not be accepted. Please note indoor cameras and recording devices are illegal in Washington state without 2 party consent. I will not consent due to the nature of my remote work and the jeopardization of my career / long term income. Outdoor cameras are fine. Supervision, double checking locks, bolts and other safety infrastructure and keeping all emergency contacts and expert animal/home security experts on hand. Also person and animal CPR certified. I can guarantee you will come home to a sparkling home, a happy pet, and everything in better condition than you left it. My goal is for you to come home stress free and leaving your animal loved ones in trusted and competent care.

About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs for quite some time. I have done multiple overnight stays for family friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc. I also am a regular with drop by visits and even taking dogs out for a walk while their owners are at work. I love to take dogs for long walks or even on runs if they have the energy! If some dogs need longer walks (1+ hours), I will be happy to take them longer. Pet care fits into my routine as an important part of my daily life. I work from home and am committed to providing the best possible care for the pets I take care of. Throughout the day when I take care of pets (whether at my home or clients home), I send lots of photos to the owners to give them updates throughout the day, sometimes a little too much! I do work from home, therefore I am able to provide more one-on-one care. I will make it my priority to make sure they are safe, fed, have lots of cuddles, went to the bathroom, etc. On top of that, when I stay over at a client's home, it is important for myself to keep it cleaner than when I first walked into the home. I also respect house rules and other necessities that were discussed before giving care.

I love to go for walks on the beach or in the woods. I like to chase sunsets and sunrises. All of which are more enjoyable with sweet creatures. I adore giving affection and opportunities to play for both cats and dogs. I have tended to a variety of different types of animals over the years. Some need ample one on one attention. Which I accommodate by giving them solo walks and separate meal times when requested. Others who loved to be social or had other animal roommates that needed plenty of outdoor time. Elder cats and dogs who needed extra special care, medication, fluids, and special diets. Dog and cat drop ins can make a world of difference for an animal navigating extended time away from their people/person. I give them all focused attention, consideration, bonding interactions and love. Dog walks are a vital key to their health and well being. It takes a village to tend to our critters too! Human and animal. I have many special spots for them to enjoy throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Including safe off leash areas when requested. I have a 7 year old dog, Hoodi. She does not come with me for cat or dog drop ins. Dog walks can include her company or not, always at your discretion. She does join me for overnight pet sitting and loves other dogs. She tends towards submissive and loves to chase and play. She is very mellow indoors and enjoys watching the activity of others. Throughout her life she has helped with pet sits. For her first four years of life she lived with two other dogs. She is a great addition to any pack. I have experience farm sitting which includes plant watering of green house, gardens, field and pasture. As well as goat milking, poultry care, and feeding of cows, horses, goats and pigs. Occasionally I will work in Port Angeles, Joyce, Forks, Queets, Poulsbo, Kingston, Bremerton, Bainbridge and Silverdale. I prefer extended house sits and like to build solid bonds with animals. I prioritize repeat clients. I have additional references outside of Rover. As many of my clients book me via word of mouth. This profile gives ease of access to my calendar. I currently work seasonally teaching art based school break kids camps and afterschool programing on the Olympic Peninsula. I spend the rest of my time making art from home and adventuring outdoors. This means I can have extended quality time with your pet(s) for walks and/or outdoor play and indoor care. Summer is my busiest season as a teacher. I have less availability during it. I believe maintaining routines and exercise is important for the physical and emotional well being of all animals. I will strive to uphold this and adapt my schedule as best as I can for your pet(s). About: I have grown up with animals my entire life, and I have endless love for them. I enjoy taking them for walks, playing with them, or snuggling on the couch. I can be strict and set rules, while still forming a bond of trust. My schedule is flexible allowing me to easily take care of animals since I am at home the majority of the time. I am active so walking and playing with the animals is not a problem at all. I have a large yard for them to play in, and my home is clean with lots of comfortable places for the dogs or cats.
