“Maria is a fantastic cat sitter! Anytime we have to go out of town I contact her to make sure I have peace of mind my senior kitty will be in the best hands while I’m away. My cat is shy but she trusts Maria in a way she doesn’t trust many people, and is always her usual happy sweet self when I return to her.”

“Shauna came everyday as arranged and took care of my pets needs as requested. Even one of my scaredy cats came out when she stopped by. I appreciated the care, visit updates and photos of my Babies.”

“Riley puts me at ease when I have to leave Spade (my 14 yr old Bombay male cat). She keeps me updated with photos and a narrative of what took place. She goes beyond and even cleans any mess he’s created. She is always punctual and attentive to his needs. I will recommend her with a glowing review and hope to book her on my next trip out of town. The best!”

About: I have been caring for cats and dogs for over 28 years. My experience extends to fish, hamsters and lizards as well. I administered medicine as requested/needed, change cat litter, clean up vomit, and give all the basic care as well. I am a substitute teacher, so I have the flexibility needed to care for pets. I have a family that works to together to care for our pets so I have time to schedule drop ins and walk in and occasional overnights. My dogs are fed twice a day. My German Shepherd, Husky, Belgian Malinois and I play in our large yard and I take time to train them. I have a large yard my dogs freely play fetch and run in. I walk my dogs on my road, go hiking, walk local trails and take them to dog parks to play with other pups. Depending on the space at my clients home I either care for them in their neighborhood or I go to local parks for walks. Also depending on my client I take their dog for a car adventure to get a pup cup or visit Petco to pick out a toy and I always use a dog seatbelt. We have so much fun together.

“I would recommend Carla H. in a heartbeat! She is responsible, very trustworthy, does exactly what she says she will do when she says she will, and more importantly, is very caring. Our cat, Cooper, is skittish with new people but she managed to set up a rapport with him early on. We felt like we were leaving him in good hands, and we were. Thank you ever so much Carla H.!”

“Sonya is amazing-- I was very nervous about leaving Chalkie for the first time, but after meeting Sonya, I was instantly put at ease. She sent me pictures daily which was also a tremendous relief. She's very conscientious and caring-- a great choice for your furry loved ones!”

“Joni was great. I was nervous leaving my cats home. They dont do well being on their own for extended periods. Joni played with them and cuddled with them. She also had no problem, on short notice, feeding them the last day as my neighbor could not. The cats are happy and so am I.”

About: I’ve spent my whole life around large dogs and currently share my home with a 4-year-old German Shepherd who I raised and trained on my own since he was just 6 weeks old. I’ve developed an understanding of strong, energetic, and intelligent breeds over the years. Whether it’s a shy pup or a high-energy dog, I believe in patient, positive care and making sure every walk, visit, or play session is a happy one. You can trust that your dog will be treated like family in my care—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too! I work full time as a nurse, but typically have 3-4 days off each week that I love to spend outside or with animals to fill my happiness quota! I do not have a fenced in yard at my home, but am used to leashed walks with my 4 year old German shepherd. I have experience with crate training and medication administration.

I have 1 very friendly dog who does amazing with other animals but if your pet isn’t a fan I always have another safe space for them. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard therefore your pet will always be leashed for their safety. I will ensure we do lots of walks and playing to get their exercise!

Stacy J.
“Stacy is great with our two dogs! She has watched them on a couple different occasions, some planned and some last minute. She is extremely reliable and has offered to simply let the dogs out for us even when she's busy with her own schedule. Our pups are not angels, but she handles them with ease. Seeing how she is with her own dog, it's easy to tell she is a true dog lover and is compassionate about taking good care of them.”
