About: I’ve had the pleasure of taking personal care of numerous dogs over the last 30 years. The dogs I’ve personally cared for have been various sizes - from less than 30th lbs to over 80lbs. I’m comfortable in caring for all sizes. I love all dogs!! I have a huge fenced-in yard with both sun and shade. I have a 4 year old neutered male cattle dog mix (Thor) who is the love of my life. He loves all people and all animals. He would love to play in our yard with your dog(s). In the last year I was employed by a high-end doggy daycare and boarding business as a Pet Care Technician. In that capacity I watched over and cared for numerous dogs - both large and small. I cared for and loved each one as if they were my very own. I’d love to care for your furbaby as well! I am currently retired from work as a Pet Care Tech at a high end doggy day care and boarding business. I’m available on weekdays and completely available on weekends for playtime and care of your pup! I have a large fenced-in yard and a playful 2.5 year old cattle dog mix. Playtime, sunshine, and love await your furbaby. If your dog is older or more laid back, then laying in the yard sunbathing and plenty of snuggling time sounds wonderful as well.

About: I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, mice, rats, fish, hermit crabs, tarantulas and many other types of pets of my own (cats and dogs my whole life) as well as cared for friends and family's pets since I was a little kid. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and care based on their individual needs and energy levels. I always follow owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, leash handling, litter box cleaning, and any special routines or preferences. Safety is very important to me, so I’m attentive during walks, careful with doors and gates, and always mindful of pets’ behavior and surroundings. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are happy and in good hands while they’re away.

“I have a job that is on-call, so I find myself asking for a pet sitter somewhat last minute sometimes. Emily is great for those calls and also for when I know a need a sitter in advance! Emily clearly has a passion for dogs; my dog loves her! She goes the extra mile to make sure she knows exactly what my dog needs and wants and to make sure my dog is a happy and healthy pooch when I can't be home! Thanks, Emily! I will be a repeat customer.”

“Great sitter for our Rusty. Aimee goes above what is needed. It's obvious that Aimee has a true love for animals. We are so thankful that we finally found someone so trustworthy and perfect for our Rusty.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Moline
Heather was wonderful with our dogs. She showed up for us on a last minute request for the 4th of July. Needless to say that is the hardest day for our dogs with all the fireworks. She helped calm them and care for them while they were stressed and was prompt, personable and communicative. Thanks Heather!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
