About: I’ve loved caring for various pets over the years. Growing up, I’ve been fortunate to be in a family that adores and cherishes our pets. We currently have 6 (3 dogs, 3 cats). Since I was about 15 years old, I’ve spent time helping family, friends, and neighbors with caring for their pets, including staying at their home to be with their fur babies. I have worked with large dogs (American Bulldogs, Pitbulls, etc.) and I have also dealt with small animals (Yorkies, Minidoodles, etc.). I love pets of all kind and would take great care of yours. My services can be dog sitting at your place, taking them for walks, feeding them, or even if you need someone to just visit them to make sure they are okay! I am currently working on my Master’s. My flexibility is open, aside from Thursday’s and Friday afternoons. Otherwise, I am available during weekdays and weekends at pretty much any time, as long as we plan in a reasonable time frame. I will provide services based on your preferences. As for dog walking, I would prefer your dog have a harness and rope leash as these have historically been the most durable for me. However, I’m not too picky and will adjust based on your pets usual care routines.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

Our little Filbert requires two meds mixed in his food twice daily, which didn't faze Jacqueline at all. She visited in the morning and evening to feed and play with the cats, and she shared good notes and cute photos. Very reassuring! We will be happy to use Jacqueline again.”

About: I love to admire and take care of pets, I’m very patient with animals and will take the time to better understand them. I’m also very open to any kind of training if necessary. I work weekdays until 5pm. And then have the rest of the day for walking dogs or feeding cats. Looking for about 2 hours of dog walking at the end of the day during the weekdays. I have an suv car so I can offer lots of space for a bigger dog and I have a very watchful eye and will make the best judgment calls to my ability.
