“Jennifer, Thomas and their girls took such good care of our pup. They sent frequent updates and photos throughout the visit, and we could instantly tell how comfortable our dog was in their home. Cannot recommend them enough!”

“Nicole was so wonderful! She took the BEST care of Basil, who is an older dog with some health limitations (hard of hearing, hard of vision, etc). Nicole has a few older dogs of her own, so understood Basil's needs and was very attentive and loving with her. I would recommend to anyone looking for a loving home to board your dog!”

“Gab is just great with Harper. This is our second time boarding her at Gab’s. We are so fortunate to have found him and his wife Annie. Now we can go away and feel very relaxed. They even taught her to go up and down a full flight of stairs. Harper loves to socialize with Gab and the other dogs. Great place to leave your pet. Everyone is happy all around.”

About: I was raised in a positive pet friendly family environment and had my own dogs and cats for more than twenty years. I can handle large, medium, and small dogs and will look to give them long walks and lots of exercise as a good dog is a tired dog. I work full-time but have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends to feed, walk, play fetch, or just hang out with your dog. I am happy to come to your home and walk your dog and or play at a local dog park, I am familiar with dogs from Yorkshire Terriers and Kings Charles Spaniels to Rottweilers and German Shepards.
“Kate has a very warm demeanor and my first impression when I brought our dog Astrid over to her house for a meet and greet before boarding, was that she would care for our dog as if she were her own. Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. We will certainly reach out to Kate again when planning future boarding accommodations for our sweet Astrid.”

“Olga was wonderful!! She took such great care of Brutus and sent lots of updates with pictures, which I loved. An especially great sitter if your fur baby needs all-day supervision for any reason!”
“Rosalie continues to be an amazing sitter and great buddy to our dear poodle, Rumor. She was very understanding and flexible when we had to push back our pickup time. Just love her!”

“Janice was amazing! I will definitely leave my dog Beau with her again! She has so much love for all animals and we felt so at peace leaving Beau for his first dog-sitting visit. There is so much space for the dogs to run and play and I knew he was in great hands:)”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with Cipriana. She's knowledgeable, caring and responsible. It was nice that she contacted me to let me know how the dogs were getting along with her dogs and sent pictures as well. I will definitely use her services again.”
“We had a family medical issue and was able to book Jacqueline quickly. Our dogs are both rescues and it matters a great deal to us who we bring into their lives. Jacqueline immediately made us, and our dogs, feel comfortable and within 5 minutes of being with them, our eldest was resting in her lap. Jaqueline sent constant photos and updates and we are very grateful to have found her and will for sure book her again. TY again, Jaqueline. That last note was from the pups!”

“This was our second time using Caroline as our dog sitter, always a great experience! She’s very communicative, sent us updates, and took such great care of our puppy while we were away for two nights. We plan to book with Caroline again and highly recommend her!”

“Jane is an amazing doggie caregiver. She clearly adores the canines and is kind and gentle with them. Her home is clean and set up to accommodate her guests. Her communication is prompt and she keeps You in the loop with pictures and videos. We are so glad we found Jane and will use her again.”

“Victoria was amazing! She sent daily pictures and messages, shared fun stories and went out of her way to make Nena's stay good. She even bought food for her when I miscounted. I will be using Victoria again for sure. Her professionalism and knowledge of dogs made me feel at ease while on vacation.”

“Nicole is absolutely amazing! Our boys loved her. They were treated like little princes. She has a wonderful space dedicated for pups with lots of room to run, play and relax. Kept us updated on how they were faring and sent awesome pictures. Basically it was a vacation for the boys. She’ll definitely be our go to choice for taking care of our guys!”

“I had a great experience with Maria. It’s evident that she and her family truly love animals based on how well they cared for my cat, Pumpkin. Maria also responds quickly and happily sent photos showing Pumpkin as happy and healthy, which I really appreciate. 10/10 I will be booking again! Thanks Maria!”

“I recently had Cherissa watch over my mini Goldendoodle, Sofia, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first interaction, she was professional, kind, and clearly passionate about animals. Cherissa and her family took the time to get to know Sofia’s routine, preferences, and any special needs, which made me feel totally at ease. While I was away, she provided regular updates—including photos and messages—which really reassured me that my pet was happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Cherissa and her family to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care. I’ll definitely be booking with them again in the future!”

“I highly recommend Amanda! This was my first time using Rover as well as my 5 year old dog's first time staying with anyone other than family. Amanda was great with communication from the beginning and reassuring throughout the whole process from initial contact to setting up a meet and greet to regular updates while we were away. My dog took to her right away and felt very comfortable with her throughout her stay as seen by cuddling pictures and happy outdoor time. I feel so fortunate to have found a reliable and trustworthy sitter.”

“Isabella was very sweet with my two cats I adopted from a shelter (can be very idiosyncratic) . She met each one at their level of social need. During my absence my robolitter was not behaving, however, Isabella insured the litter box remained fresh for my cats so I didn't find any surprises upon my return! I will definitely book her services again!”

“Outstanding! This was the first time I booked with Vicki and I could not be more pleased..from the initial communication and get together, to the consistently on-time visits, many cute photos and lots of detail (and reassurance!), I felt that Vicki had everything under control. It was also a plus that Vicki is obviously a big cat lover and understands their nature. I would (and will) be booking with her again and and easily recommend her 100%.”

“Henry is amazing! My very skittish cat who normally just hides even came out to have a peek at Henry! Henry went above and beyond in his notes and care for my cat. Absolutely would recommend him to anyone. Will definitely be rebooking if needed!”

“Katherine was wonderful! She took great care of my cats while I was away for a week, and took the cutest pictures of them every day! I will definitely rebook in the future”

About: I've worked with dogs and cats since I was 7. I have spent the past several years learning how to train service dogs. I am incredibly patient and gentle and am very willing to match my style of training to yours. I work weekends so I am free most days to walk your pets while you are at work or on a trip!! I am super flexible and easy going. My number one priority is your pets safety. This looks like ensuring your pet has plenty of water, access to shade if it's hot, and appropriate distance from other dogs.

“We love Joe! I can always tell when I get home that our kitty is happy and well taken care of. If not, I know it because she is mad. Joe knows cats, and Juniper feels safe.”

About: I have two dachshund of my own! I’ve been hosting for 2 years and would love to continue to do so. Can’t wait to meet your pups! I treat my pets as a part of myself. I make sure they are accommodated. My days aren’t hectic so morning and afternoon+ night routine is established. I have a fenced yard. There’s lots of grass and space for them to run around. So freedom won’t be a problem. I make sure to keep my space free from food and anything chewable.

“We were delighted that Monica was available at the last minute after another pet-sitter cancelled. She communicated clearly and courteously with us from the start and sent us regular updates and photos. Lucy (our cat) seemed to feel very comfortable with her and was happy and relaxed upon our return. The house was also as clean and orderly as we left it. We can definitely recommend Monica and would be glad to have her stay with Lucy again.”

“Bridget went above and beyond to take care of our cat while we were away on a trip. Communication with Bridget was great and we were able to trust that our cat was in great hands. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I love caring for cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors. I especially love playing with more rambunctious cats. I've lived in several situations with two or more cats in which they had to be slowly introduced or their interactions managed, and I'm confident in reading cats' body language. I think it is so important to be patient with cats and pay attention to their individual wants and needs. My own cat is very calm but cautious with other animals.
“Emily was absolutely wonderful! My 11 year old cat was snuggling with her when she visited. Emily took great care of my baby and sent me photos and videos of her when I was traveling. I highly recommend Emily and will definitely reach out to her next time we go away!”

“While my 2 cats (brother and sister) are extremely shy with strangers and never came out from underneath the bed during Barbara's visits, I was pleased that she sent photos of them in hiding! It was comforting to know that they were being fed properly and the litter boxes were cleaned in our absence. I would highly recommend Barbara and Rover. My cats missed out on meeting this lovely woman.”

“Victoria went above and beyond to take care of our kitty—over the holiday season and regardless of a blizzard that made travel difficult, she showed up! The updates and photos were so appreciated and thank you for bringing in our packages and deliveries too. Highly recommend and will book with her again!”

“Amazing service and communication. Very prompt responses and overall excellent person to deal with, I would trust her with my animals any day. She was great at handling some inconveniences related to entering the property and our landlord.”

“Katherine was great! Grey and Bunny seemed to really like her, she was very communicative and sent pictures! Will definitely have her watch the critters again in the future!”

“Katrina was in our home with our two big kittens/small cats for just under a week. My husband and I were a bit worried about leaving them with a sitter, since they are only three months old, but gwe came home to very happy kitties, and a well-cared for house. Communication was good while we were away; pictures arrived frequently. I would use Katrina again to watch our beloved cats!”

“My dog absolutely loves Jesmine and Channon’s place. She always looks to be having a good time. Today she didn’t even want to leave. These are good people and I look forward to my pup staying with them again.”

“Amanda was an amazing sitter for our dog Honey! She was thoughtful, communicative, flexible on timing, and Honey seemed so happy and calm when we picked her up. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Jacqueline was very friendly and communicative, and Bunsen took an instant liking. We received photos of her well-being during her stay and of her mile walk. Jacqueline’s home is conveniently located in a popular historic town, making drop-off/pickup easy on the way to/from Hunter Ski Resort from our hotel. Bunsen was well cared for and happy. She was also so tired, that she managed to rest during the long car ride back home! We would book Jacqueline again.”

About: My own dogs are always the #1 teacher. They show me how to best care for them - with food, play, training, medications, travel, sleepless days and nights when they've been ill, and giving them all them comfort I can. I've volunteered at dog shelters, spent hours walking dogs in all kinds of weather, and offered comfort to friends who've had to say goodbye to their best fur friends. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets plenty of attention - playing, feeding, and scratching behind the ears. I take my dog for swims in the river, off leash romps in the woods, and leashed walks around town. We also play fetch and tug-of-war in the house or on the deck. If your dog needs a playmate, my dog, Jackson, may be a good fit. My cats - depending on their mood - like to lounge in the sun, pounce on the occasional toy, run up stairs, and hunt for treats I've hidden for them.
“Marielle took great care of my little Zuzu! My puppy started the day sad about me leaving her there and by the end she was totally bonded with Marielle! She was also totally tuckered out so she clearly got plenty of exercise.”

“This is our 3rd time using Eleanor for Sparky’s care. And we already have her scheduled again for a week in March. She continues to exceed our expectations. She has a genuine interest in Sparky and they both adore each other. We consider ourselves lucky to have made this connection with Eleanor.”

“This was his second visit, he did well. Nicole sent me pics and updates on how he was doing. ( He’s clingy and a mama’s boy lol ). I'm so grateful that we found Nicole. I truly believe he will come out of his shell. I believe he will blossom with her as time goes on.”

“Kimberly was amazing! Very attentive to my Macie and reassured me when leaving my pup for daycare for the very first time. Macie loveed her and have a wonderful day at Kimberlys! We're looking forward to booking again!”

“A true dog person, Jane welcomed our whippet puppy into her warm home. She is very responsive, a lovely person, and sent some beautiful pictures of our pup that we absolutely loved!”

I have over 15 years dog watching, walking and loving experience and would love to help you out! I’m able to come to your home and stay overnight, just a day or even just an hour. Whatever pet services you need provided for your fluffy best friend I can accommodate. I’ve always been told I have a way with animals and I think it’s just because they have always genuinely made me happy. I’m sure you’ll be happy with the way I treat your pup and I know they’ll be happy to stretch their legs with me! I’m currently available full-time to board animals at my private house on a quiet street! I also offer dog walking and drop ins as well as housesitting! My home is pet free at the moment so your animal will have their own private Airbnb and full reign of my cozy little house!
“Amy and her husband Chris took great care of my six month old puppy for the day. It was an early drop-off and they were incredibly accommodating (and patient when my puppy then cried like someone had died after I left). Amy was very responsive over text and I felt like my girl was in extremely good hands! Would recommend!”

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.
“Nayeli was amazing! Great at communication and providing updates throughout the day, and she accommodated some timing challenges very generously. My dog Ernie seemed happy and comfortable throughout the day, and like he had an overall great time! I'd highly recommend :)”

“Alison and Jason are the best! Meeko gets so much attention and excercise while in their care and is always excited when we get to their door. They also put special care into his sting habits (he doesn’t always want to eat) and send lots of cute pics of him throughout the dayt. We are so glad to have them nearby.”

“Bridget is great! She is always on time, follows my instructions carefully and is very communicative. And most importantly she is fantastic with my dog. My dog has weird little quirks and can be very excitable and Bridget is great about it all. No notes, I’m glad to have found her.”

“Amanda is an amazing walker and pet sitter. She has gone above and beyond for me and my dog Beatrice. She has carried my dog over hot asphalt to shade and grass for walks. Added ice to her water bowl on the hot days. She is a regular walker for me and I have entrusted her with a key to my loft. You can do no better in my book. Schedule her with confidence! 😊 Stars 6!”
“Katherine has been great with my dog Leo. She can get in and out of a very difficult door to open (fiddly lock) and is very self-reliant. I’m sure Leo likes her a lot and I’m happy to have her walk my dog. A+”

“Rosalie has been so lovely to work with. Our recently adopted dog struggles with separation anxiety and Rosalie has been willing to work with us to slowly build her confidence so that we can eventually leave her overnight. We are very grateful for her help, patience, and support!”

“Ella is wonderful! She is outgoing, friendly, and an excellent communicator. More important, she clearly adores dogs. She quickly bonded with our shy & anxious girl, Mina, at their first meeting. As well, Ella was unflustered when I realized I'd scheduled the wrong day for one of Mina's walks. Thankfully, she was able to accommodate my (very) last-minute revision! We will definitely request Ella again!!”
