About: I’ve been helping with care and dog sitting for friends and neighbors for about ten years, especially for my sister’s cavaliers (pictured) when she goes on trips. I have a lot of experience walking more anxious/shy dogs, and have also wrangled some bigger aggressive pooches - so I know how to navigate a walk to avoid socialization when needed, and keep a tight grip on the leash. I just quit my corporate job, so my schedule is open! Particularly looking to schedule some day-time walks, but flexible on timing, and can potentially do overnights as well I like to defer to the dog’s temperament and let them initiate interactions, or offer treats to grease the wheels. Ideally I want to build a rapport with them to get in some playtime and cuddles to keep them emotionally engaged while their human is away

About: With over a decade of pet-care experience, Im well acclimated to all kinds of furry and non-furry friends. From age 10-17, I had my own dog, and watched dogs and cats across my neighborhood. I became familiar with walking multiple dogs at once, and cat care. During college, I worked at a non-profit animal rescue, where I learned skills ranging from raising puppies from birth to adoption to administrating vaccines and medications to dogs with complex medical needs. I worked with feral dogs, weaning mothers, and dogs with a wide range of behavioral needs. I’ve lived with both cats and dogs, so I’m also familiar with the quirks of existing in a home with your furry friends! For those who have unconventional pets, I’m always open to loving on them as well. I owned three pairs of rats throughout grade school and college, and even trained them for name recall. I am an animal lover at my core, and will be your best friends advocate while caring for them! I will be working part-time, so I have plenty of time to come play with and love on your pets! I am also very active, so am very open to hikes or daily adventures if you have high-energy dogs that need extra time. For smaller friends, I am open and able to bringing them into my home, but for cats and dogs, please plan to have me come to you! I am a huge advocate for meeting animals where they are. I will ask you questions about your pet’s personality, and ensure that I’m approaching them in a way that makes them safe and comfortable. Windows and doors are always shut and monitored for those who may have high flight risk pets. I deeply care about your pet’s safety during my stay, so please communicate any additional precautions when we are finalizing pet sitting details!

The oldest dog I have cared for was my resident dog, Bubba (Black Lab/Husky Mix - 80 lbs) who I had for 4 years who recently passed away at 11. Dogs are my pride and joy! I work full time on the weekdays and am free on the weekends. I am available during the week sometimes after work. Willing to stay the weekend if needed. I treat dogs like I would my own. On walks I make sure I have everything we need before going out. I respect each pet and go with what they want to do. IE adhering to their boundaries. I am also great at following directions that the owner provides. I want all parties, pets, parents, and myself to feel comfortable.

I live a 3-minute walk away from Lake Bde Maka Ska and love taking long walks around the lakes. I can’t wait to have your furry friend join me 😊 I am an online English teacher. I work from home Monday through Thursday from 10-12:30pm. I also teach Monday and Thursday evenings. Because I work part-time from home, I have lots of time to play with and care for your animals. Though I do not have a yard, we have a very pet friendly apartment building with lots of pet friends to say hi to. We are a 3-minute walk from the lakes with beautiful walking paths to explore.

About: Patient, attentive, and will meet your pet where they are at. I have lots of experience working with elderly dogs and with some behavioral problems. I have a full time job that is hybrid allowing me to work around the needs of my four legged clients.When unable to provide 24/7 super vision my flexible hours will still allow me to meet all the necessary needs of your pet on your schedule. I have no other pets and live near two dog parks. My building has a partially fenced in courtyard that is scarcely used and open for less socialized pets.
