“Our dog loves Morgan and looks forward to his walks. Morgan is easy t work with and communicates very well. Knowing he is getting his midday walks from a caring person makes all the difference.”

“Just one week into having Max (and his fiancé) take care of my two dogs and I’m already so impressed. Max and Jen took the time to get to know my dogs and asked tons of questions prior to starting weekly walks. They are both incredibly communicative and timely, send pictures and updates for each walk, and have been extremely patient with my female pup, who can be shy around new people. I will definitely turn to Max and Jen for any future dog sitting needs!”

About: I'm a certified veterinary assistant, and I’m currently in school to obtain my veterinary technician certification. I interned at a veterinary clinic for six months and have been working at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost a year now. I work part-time. My shifts are either 6:30-1:30, 6:30-11:30, and 1:30-7, and on days I “double” I have a 2-hour break in between. Besides work, I am taking an online class for Vet Tech, so I can do it anywhere I need to. I have been around various breeds. I know the warning signs of when a pet is scared or not comfortable, and I always take my time with new fur friends.

About: I have a 55 lb loving soul named Penny. I love coming home from work and there she is, excited to greet me. Walking dogs is relaxing and a great bonding experience. Car rides and dog parks are just the best. I am currently a teacher in Charlotte, but will be pretty open once classes and graduation are over on June 14th. Except for one week in July when I will be on vacation, my schedule will be wide open until mid-August. Let me care for your pet while you relax! I have one dog and a semi-feral cat. My pets are a part of the family and are allowed on furniture and beds, and very much welcome to take naps with me! My pets are well-loved and I give them my full attention. I enjoy walking my dog as much as she does. I am not squeamish at all of picking up poo in a bag and carrying it back home. Litter boxes - part of my life since I was a small child. I have much experience in that department. I love cats and dogs!

“Lindsay was so great with our pup! She spent a lot of quality time with her letting her play in the front yard and giving her plenty of love. My dog has some separation anxiety so it was soooo reassuring knowing that she was in good hands with Lindsay. Lindsay is also extremely responsive and friendly. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“After using rover for the first time I loved michaela once I met her she is a very genuine and understanding person she always send pictures of my sweet pup couldn’t asked for a better sitter ! ❤️”

“Nataly was so patient with Link when she stepped in on short notice to take him for a few walks during the day. She sat with him and made him feel comfortable until he felt ok and safe enough to walk on a leash with her. He can be shy and scared at first but he warmed up to her quickly and she was a great walker. Also gave his oral medication for him as well which I greatly appreciated! Would def recommend!”

About: Since I was young, I’ve had a special connection with animals. I grew up in a home with dogs and cats, and over time, I became the go-to person for friends and family whenever they needed someone to care for their pets while they traveled. For over 10 years, I’ve looked after dogs of all breeds and sizes, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring special care. I’ve also cared for cats, learning to respect their unique personalities and needs. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, love, and routine to ensure every pet feels safe and happy under my care. I work from home, so I have plenty of time and a flexible schedule to care for your pets. Whether they need walks, playtime, or just companionship, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I’ve always had a deep love for animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. Caring for pets isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I’m passionate about. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just some extra cuddles, your furry friend will receive plenty of attention and a home-like environment where they can feel happy and relaxed.

“Minh was very responsive and reliable. She took time to review some training commands with Brandy, give her a great walk, and let her have some free time outside to decompress. She always made sure Brandy had water before leaving. She also comforted her and went out of her way to set Brandy up with a toy and treat to calm her anxiety. Our dog has some separation anxiety and knowing that she was in such great hands was so reassuring.”

“Jen did a great job watching our blind dog Pavel. She can be kind of difficult around strangers but Jen handled her well. Jen provided great updates and pictures while we were out of town.”

“Kortney has been great taking care of my Benji. She is reliable and very accommodating to last minute changes in my work schedule. I would definitely recommend her services.”

“Priya was prompt, friendly, and did a great job walking my Blaze. The first day was interesting as Blaze constantly escaped her collar and running back to the house. By the second day Blaze was excited to see her and kept looking out the window when she left. I would recommend her for anyone who needs a good walker.”

About: Hi, I’m Jillian. Growing up we had a chocolate lab. She was put down due to age and cancer. Later on the family adopted a shepherd mix and then a husky. I also used to have an adorable little hedgehog and 2 birds. I currently work part time at a doggie daycare. I have experience at the Humane Society of Eastern North Carolina; walking/playing with dogs and feeding cats. I’ve also worked at an exotic animal farm (It’s a Zoo Life) taking care of the animals and assisting tours. I’m comfortable giving medications. Both of our family dogs take daily meditations. The husky is disabled and sometimes needs help getting around. I’m willing to pick up and drop off, bathe, walk and entertain your animals. I will also house sit, water plants or check mail if needed. I love puppies and kittens and I’m willing to stay overnight if needed. Exotic pets welcome. I am currently only working 2 part time jobs with flexible hours. I like to let my dog Bourbon out in the morning and at least once throughout the day. He is feed once in the morning and once at night. I like to stick to house rules of the owner. For my dog in my house, I like to let him be himself. Obviously, my things are mine and his are his. No getting on the table/ counter or jumping on the doors. I do allow him on the couch but not when wet or dirty. When leaving for long periods or if needing to leave things out he is crate trained.

Jillian H.
“Jillian was born into an animal living family. Over her 18 years she has helped care for 5 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds and a hedgehog. By age 8 she was independently pet sitting for 3 dogs and one cat. Getting up early to let them out, feed them and play with them as well as light house work while the family was out of town. Recently she has learned to care for one of our pups after knee surgery. She has given medicine, helped go outside with a sling to support him and has become familiar with giving asthma medicine to our other dog. Jillian has cleaned cages, bathed animals, taken them to the park on her own and gone on countless vet visits. She is excited for the opportunity to help other families feel confident leaving their beloved pet in her capable hands.”
