I completed The Ultimate Canine Communication Masterclass by Larry Krohn, and working on a couple other courses with the intention of eventually getting certified in dog training. A lot of what I learned in those courses relate to proper equipment, dog behaviors and body language, communication, and foundation. Which all play in a role in caring for and keeping your pet safe and having fun!

About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs. My aunt owns a veterinary clinic that I used to volunteer at. I volunteered at the animal shelter all through college as well. I have a pup of my own but love all animals. I work part-time and have plenty of time to walk your pups and do drop in visits. I love meeting new furry friends and know how important it is to give the best life to our furry animals. I have a dog of my own who loves to sleep on the couch. She is crate trained and can be left alone for hours. I am comfortable with whatever care you want for your furry baby.

About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. I wouldn’t just be some dog watcher, I would be their friend that plays with them and loves being with them.

About: I’ve watched after family and friends pets since I was young, and have worked in several professional dog walking/pet sitting settings, it’s what I love to do most, meeting new animals and discovering each personality. There’s nothing better than becoming best friends with new animals every day. About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole life and get a deep sense of joy when I am able to care for them! I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 15 years which has provided me experience with all kinds of animals with all types of personalities. I have an animal medical background which helps me provide safe and sound handling techniques and animal care skills. I have owned an array of animals: dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, rats, and mice. I also have cared for other farm animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. I have fostered puppies through Ruff Start Rescue for 7 years which has given me extensive experience with potty training and leash training. I work at a school which gives me summers and weekends available for animal care. I am often available in the evenings year-round also. I have a quiet neighborhood and a large yard. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 4 years now! I’m comfortable with staying in your home for overnights or just visiting during the day for walks and play time! Willing to travel to wherever you’re located. I currently have a part-time job, where I work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I am able to meet your pet(s) both before and after work, and if I am currently sitting, I make your animals a priority in my routine! Whether you want me at your home or just to stop-in, I will promise you your fur babies will receive excellent care. At this time I can only care for animals at the clients home! I will follow all instructions given to me and I always communicate with the client on a daily basis on how your pets are doing!

About: We grew up with pets and we have a pet loving family. We have a German wirehair pointer dog, cat and raise rabbits for showing. We also volunteer at a local goat farm and help take care of goats. I work full time out of the home, Monday-Friday, so your dog will be kenneled while we are at work. Unless it’s summer or holiday then my schedule may be different. I will do morning walks and night walks and playtime outside after and before work. We have an unfenced large yard so your pet will be leashed for playtime. We have a nice larger private backyard so plenty of space for exercise.

About: I’ve always had such a strong love for animals both dogs, cats and more! I grew up with both cats and dogs in my family and have experience with animals of all ages including puppies & kittens and senior dogs and cats. I have experience in providing medicine, treatment, nail trimmings, and more to both cats and dogs in a gentle and careful way! I am very caring and will always make sure your animal is my #1 priority I currently work from home going in the office once a week so I have lots of flexibility to do drop in during lunch time, before or after work and weekends. Since I work from home I am always available at anytime in case of an emergency as well. I currently have two cats that I care for like they are my children (because they are!) both cats are rescues with very different personalities and comforts. Litter boxes are cleaned daily and deep cleaned weekly. They are fed half wet feed half dry food diet and fed portion sizes, not free fed. We have pet insurance so take them to the vet as we see fit - more than yearly! When I lived with my parents and their dog we would do daily walks/hikes and I also helped train him!

About: Dogs have always held such a special place in my heart. I had my own dog for 9 wonderful years before sadly losing her, and I’ve also spent years caring for my brother’s dogs. I’m especially comfortable with larger breeds and have lots of experience with American Akitas, so big dogs don’t scare me! I love getting to know each dog’s personality, whether they’re energetic, goofy, shy, or the ultimate cuddle bug. I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of love, attention, playtime, and belly rubs while you’re away. I work Monday–Friday until 3 PM, but I’m available afterward and have open weekends. I’m happy to plan around your pet’s routine and my upcoming fall classes. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I want both the pet and their home to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention. I’ll always respect their space and belongings, keep doors and gates securely closed, and make sure pets are supervised and safe. I’ll also keep the home clean and tidy and communicate with the owner so they feel comfortable and updated while they’re away.
