About: I have spent my whole life with dogs, caring for our family dogs over the years and dog sitting for friends. I enjoy going on long walks and would love to have a buddy join me, big or small. I’m a graduate student and tend to be available either before 9am or after 5pm. I spend a good amount of time working from my apartment but sometimes have to unexpectedly run into the lab. I’m typically more free during the days on the weekend. I live in an apartment, and will not be able to host dogs here. the apartment is dog friendly so there is a chance i could bring a dog over temporarily, but not overnight. (though I wish i could!)

I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile and spend Summers in WI and Winters in AZ. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. Your dog will be treated like one of our own, getting lots of love and attention during the day and can sleep overnight in a doggy bed or crate whichever is preferred.

About: My husband and I have raised 4 “rescued” dogs and one purebred during our 18 years together. We loved them all unconditionally and enjoyed all the time we had with them. We each had dogs in our prior 30 years of childhood and raising children. They were all amazing pets and we loved them as family. We had great friends who were able to take care of our dogs when we needed to go away and we are so thankful for that. I was never able to consider putting ours in a kennel. NOTE: I am very sorry to note that I have allergies so we can only accept hypoallergenic dogs for care in our home. So sorry, we love them all, but I am unable to care for other breeds in our home. About: I’ve grown up with dogs. My aunt owns a veterinary clinic that I used to volunteer at. I volunteered at the animal shelter all through college as well. I have a pup of my own but love all animals. I work part-time and have plenty of time to walk your pups and do drop in visits. About: I have had pets my entire life and fostered many. I presently have a 17 year old Dachshund and a 13 year old Chihuahua that get along well with visiting dogs. I do work part time out of the home. I am able to tend to the pets through out the day as needed. I can provide home made human grade food if needed. Also on leash walks. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. About: I have spent my whole life with dogs, caring for our family dogs over the years and dog sitting for friends. I enjoy going on long walks and would love to have a buddy join me, big or small. I’m a graduate student and tend to be available either before 9am or after 5pm. I spend a good amount of time working from my apartment but sometimes have to unexpectedly run into the lab.
