About: My husband and I have both grown up with pets and have continued caring for animals throughout our adult lives. We have extensive hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, and we currently care for a variety of animals in our home, including fish, a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, a hamster, and hermit crabs. This has given us a strong understanding of different care needs, routines, and behaviors across species. We’re attentive, patient, and comfortable following specific instructions — whether that’s maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic care, or helping pets feel calm and safe in a new environment. We truly treat every pet as if they were our own. Because we work from home, pet care naturally fits into our daily routine. We’re around throughout the day to provide attention, playtime, feeding, and companionship, not just quick check-ins. Our flexible schedule allows us to adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that means extra cuddles, medication reminders, or keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. We care for pets as if they are part of our own family. In our home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play safely. We live on 10 acres, which allows for supervised outdoor time, walks, and fresh air, and we also have a large outdoor kennel available when appropriate for a pet’s comfort and safety. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we focus on consistency, attentiveness, and respect for each pet’s routine. We follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any special requests closely. We make it a priority to be responsive, communicative, and attentive so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident while they’re away.
“Shelly was awesome. She was flexible when I had to change my dates. There was plenty of open space and other animals for Bear to play with. Shelly also was helping with our potty training since Bear is only three months old. I will use her again.”

“Cate and Tim and Ainsley were great to Murphy and their place was a perfect playground. Murphy came home happy and tired. It was our first Rover and she had no stress. Highly recommend them!”

About: I’m a stay at home momma who can’t wait to have pawsome adventures with your pups! 😊🐶 I have experience in feeding, grooming, walking, administering medication, and ensuring a safe environment for dogs since childhood. This began with my family dogs, which taught me the importance of love and patience with our furry family members, and this mentality has continued into my adult life with my own pups. I am a stay at home momma so I have a lot of availability and flexibility all week long for boarding, daycare, check ins, etc.! I have a large yard with a friendly fur baby of my own to keep your pet company! I also have endless tough chewer toys to keep your pup’s tail wagging!
“Orlando and Nicki were very responsive and accommodating. They were welcoming and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with them and they took very good care of our pet.”

About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole life and get a deep sense of joy when I am able to care for them! I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 15 years which has provided me experience with all kinds of animals with all types of personalities. I have an animal medical background which helps me provide safe and sound handling techniques and animal care skills. I have owned an array of animals: dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, rats, and mice. I also have cared for other farm animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. I have fostered puppies through Ruff Start Rescue for 7 years which has given me extensive experience with potty training and leash training. I work at a school which gives me summers and weekends available for animal care. I am often available in the evenings year-round also. I have a quiet neighborhood and a large yard. My dog is young, playful, and very friendly. I am familiar and comfortable with crate training and dog-safe practices within the home. I am aware of pet toxicity and safety concerns with pets.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have had both cats and dogs since I was a little girl. Caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love being around animals of all kinds. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily care, walks, feeding routines, playtime, and giving pets the attention and love they deserve. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll care for them like they’re part of my own family. I have a flexible and reliable schedule that allows me to provide consistent pet care throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I am able to accommodate regular visits, overnight care, and extended stays when needed. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I prioritize dependability and clear communication to ensure each pet receives steady, attentive care while you’re away. I provide calm, attentive care in either my client’s home or my own, always prioritizing each pet’s comfort, safety, and routine. I create a low-stress environment where pets can feel secure and relaxed, following their normal feeding schedules, exercise needs, litter box or habitat care, and any specific instructions provided. I take time to build trust at the pet’s pace, especially with shy or anxious animals, and I pay close attention to their behavior and wellbeing. Communication with pet owners is consistent so you always feel informed and confident your pet is being well cared for.
“Brianna has been such a huge blessing for our family and for our pup, Vince. He absolutely loves going to her house – her kids are so sweet with him and he’s become part of the little pack with her dogs. You can tell she really understands dogs and manages the energy in her home so everyone feels safe and included. I always feel confident dropping him off because I know he’s supervised, loved on, and genuinely having fun. We’re really thankful to have found someone we can trust with our boy during long work days and trips. Highly recommend Brianna if you want your dog to have a second home.”

About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was a child. When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. Your dog will be treated like one of our own, getting lots of love and attention during the day and can sleep overnight in a doggy bed or crate whichever is preferred.
About: We grew up with pets and we have a pet loving family. We have a German wirehair pointer dog, cat and raise rabbits for showing. We also volunteer at a local goat farm and help take care of goats. I work full time out of the home, Monday-Friday, so your dog will be kenneled while we are at work. Unless it’s summer or holiday then my schedule may be different. I will do morning walks and night walks and playtime outside after and before work. We have an unfenced large yard so your pet will be leashed for playtime. We have a nice larger private backyard so plenty of space for exercise.
“We needed a last minute sitter and Anna was able to take our little guy on such a short notice. She did such a wonderful job with getting Louie adjusted as it was his first time. She sent pictures through out the day to help make us feel comfortable.”

About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: Dogs have been an important part of my life for many years. I currently own an 8-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm, so I have extensive experience caring for large, energetic dogs and understanding their exercise needs. We have a large, fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. My family provides a loving, structured home environment, and dogs receive plenty of attention and care throughout the day. We also have two young children, so we only accept dogs that are friendly, gentle, and comfortable around kids. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine. I am a stay-at-home mom to two children, so I am home throughout the day and able to provide attention, care, and supervision for pets. Each day, we go on at least one longer walk with our dog, in addition to shorter potty breaks and outdoor time as needed. These walks are a regular part of our schedule and help ensure our 8-year-old Siberian Husky gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. We also spend time in our large fenced-in backyard, which gives additional safe space for activity and play. Because I’m home during the day, I’m able to be flexible and responsive to a dog’s needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks, attention, or adjusting activity based on energy level or weather. Overall, pet care fits very naturally into our household rhythm and is already an important part of our daily family routine. We start the day with feeding, potty breaks, and a walk, and we typically do at least one longer walk each day to make sure our dog gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. Since we have an 8-year-old Siberian Husky, we’re very familiar with meeting the needs of high-energy dogs and making sure they stay active and engaged. Throughout the day, pets are part of our home environment. Because I am a stay-at-home mom to two young children, I’m home and available to provide regular supervision, attention, and outdoor breaks as needed. We also have a large fenced-in backyard, which allows for safe outdoor play and extra exercise time. In the evenings, we maintain a calm routine with another potty break, feeding, and time spent relaxing together as a family. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, well-exercised, and integrated into a structured but flexible household where they are treated like part of the family.
“Julie really helped me out when I had knee replacement surgery and I'm forever greatful. She is a wonderful person who loves her animals. Wish my was better behaved and did not dig up her yard.”

“Karen and her family are absolutely wonderful! She gives us such piece of mind with her knowledge and experience with dogs. I’m an anxious dog mom and I have never once questioned the high quality of care she provides. Wonderful as always - she is our top choice of sitter!”

“Luke & Aria (your sweet Doberman) thanks for providing a great afternoon for GiGi! I appreciate that they could play so well together in your fenced yard, that she had a lot of water and potty breaks and that you gave very good supervision. It was so nice to hear that you would love to take care of her again, to read your nice comments and that you provided cuddle time. You live in such a convenient location near a highway exit and other Rover clients could get a lot of errands done close to your home. We will call again.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 595 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across East Farmington. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your East Farmington commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 595 sitters in East Farmington, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
