“I was nervous with this being Hercules first time at a sitter that wasn’t family. But we had a introduction a few weeks prior and I realized I had nothing to be nervous about!! Hercules had great time at Beverly’s. Beverly and her husband were wonderful, and Hercules loved them both! We received many updates, and pictures throughout his stay. Highly recommend Beverly. We will definitely book again with her.”

About: As a fellow pet parent, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new. That’s why I treat every pet like part of my own little furry family—warm cuddles, silly moments, and all. Your pet’s happiness and comfort mean everything to me. I’m available for boarding pet care on the weekends mainly. Also, open to be flexible and accommodate special requests. Please message me with your questions. I have a smaller fenced yard for quick potty breaks throughout the day and take my own two doggies for regular walks in the neighborhood as well. A minimum of 2x per day, rain or snow.
“Julie and Noah took great care of my two dogs. They gave me regular updates and pictures. I know they were in a loving, caring home while I was away and were treated like part of their family.”

“Melissa and Gregory were incredible! This was our first time using Rover and they put us immediately at ease. They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy. I highly recommend Melissa and Greg - they are just super!”

“Jordy had a wonderful time at Mindy’s- he even became friends with her cat! He was happy to be home but I’m betting he would gladly go back. I’d happily ask Mindy to care for him again.”

“Vidya was wonderful with our 1 year old rescue dog. We got daily updates and pictures. You could tell she truly cares about the dogs she sits and makes them comfortable. She also kept our dog busy and occupied. We would highly recommend her and use her again!”

“Stacey is the best! We went on vacation knowing how well our Lucy was taken care of and so happy! Outstanding environment with pictures sent of how our little Diva made herself at home!!”

“As usual I was nervous leaving Shadow with someone new, but Michelle's home is so welcoming and Shadow took to Michelle and her home right away. She sent pictures a couple times a day and I could see from the photos that Shadow was relaxed and comfortable. That reassurance made my trip all the more relaxing.”

“Kelly was very accommodating and she accepted to dogsit for us as per our last minute request. Our dog had a lot of fun and he seemed to have felt at home during his visit, which was very reassuring. Also, Kelly provided daily pictures to update us during his visit. I recommend Kelly’s services. We are satisfied and we have already booked another stay with her this summer!”

“Mindy and her family were wonderful with my Livi! I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing she was loved and cared for. I highly recommend Mindy and will definitely use her again!”

“Despite some communications issues before drop-off, there were no problems at all during Milo's actual time with Annalisa. Milo had a great time and was even given a bath after getting messy playing.”

About: I have past experience working for Wag where I walked a number of different dogs over the course of about a year and a half. I also have experience with raising, training, and caring for my own pups as well as my two cats! I work as a freelancer currently, so I will have plenty of time to stop in and care for your pet any day of the week you need me! I can accommodate any and all needs that your pets have while you are away from home! In my experience with Wag as a dog walker, I entered and re-secured many homes while owners were away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Amherst
I am from out of state and Jenna was able to watch my dog during my trip, which was last minute due to my sitter canceling. Her and her husband were able to be flexible with me on drop off/pick up times as much as their schedule allowed as well and kept me up-to-date with how Phoebe was throughout my trip. Phoebe was very relaxed when I dropped her off and when I picked her up, which gave me even more confidence in the care they provided for her. Highly recommend and will be reaching out to them again if in need of a sitter in the area in the future.

Melissa and Greg are AMAZING! It’s more like I can rate enough 5++++ They took amazing, care of my Nitika GS ! Nitika was so well loved. Slept, in there room. Taken for walk, free roam of the house, back yard was so pretty. Sent me pictures, answered all my questions! Pls pls BOOK Them, you will have the MOST amazing vacation knowing your babies are taken care of Thank you all so so much 🥰🥰

Stacey was super easy to communicate with and even allowed us to do a meet and greet with her dogs before we booked! Delilah was in great hands and we really appreciated Stacey being so flexible with drop off/pick up given our travel changes because of the weather! We would definitely recommend Stacey and wouldn’t hesitate to leave Delilah with her again!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
