Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I’m home consistently, and my husband (Noah Harris) is home on Mondays and Fridays, so dogs are rarely alone for long periods. We’re typically around on weekends as well and will work as a team to make sure your pets are well cared for. Dogs have access to our fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and in the spring, summer, and fall we take at least one family walk a day (15–40 minutes depending on weather and energy level). We maintain feeding, potty, and medication routines as needed and make sure each dog receives plenty of attention and care throughout the day.

Safety is very important to us. In our home, dogs are supervised and have access to a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor time. Information Julie & Noah H. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any special needs, notable aversions or fears, or if they have a tendency toward food aggression. These are all things we can accommodate and mitigate, but with a 2 year old at home, we need to ensure the safety of your pet and our daughter.

A typical day

I am happy to provide all kinds of support and stimulation to your pet while they are visiting. Whether it is physical exercise through outdoor play or walks, mental stimulation through search and find games, treat balls, or puzzle toys, or emotional support in the form of regular brushing and affection. My goal is to make your pets stay as comfortable and stress free as possible.

Experienced Family Dog Care

Pet care experience

Hi! I grew up with dogs and have experience caring for a wide variety of breeds including Pomeranians, Cocker Spaniels, Labs, Pit Bulls, and Husky/Malamutes. Dogs have always been part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m comfortable administering oral medications and eye drops when needed, and I understand how important it is to maintain consistency in a pet’s routine. Whether your dog needs extra patience, structured activity, or just lots of affection, I’m happy to meet them where they are. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. In the spring, summer, and fall, we go on at least one family walk each day, typically ranging from 15–40 minutes depending on weather and your dog’s needs and energy level. We recently said goodbye to our senior dog, and while we aren’t ready to welcome another dog permanently into our home, we truly miss having dogs around. Pet sitting allows us to share our home and love with dogs while also teaching our daughter responsibility, compassion, and proper animal care in a hands-on, meaningful way. Your dog will be treated like part of our family with attention, supervision, and lots of love. I am the primary care taker for your pet when they stay with us, but my husband (Noah Harris) will also contribute to make sure all of your pets needs are met. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Julie and Noah took great care of my two dogs. They gave me regular updates and pictures. I know they were in a loving, caring home while I was away and were treated like part of their family.
