About: Hi my name is Nicole! I’ve had hands on experience helping raise and train my family dog from when they were a puppy, so I totally understand the energy (and chaos!) that can come with younger dogs. I know how important it is to keep them on a consistent schedule whether that’s for meals, potty breaks, walks, or playtime, to help them feel comfortable and stay on track. I’ve also dog sat for a friend’s elderly dog, which taught me how different their needs and routines can be compared to a young puppy. I’m comfortable adjusting my care to match your dog’s age, energy level, and any special requirements they may have. I truly believe dogs are part of the family, and I respect that everyone has their own way of caring for them. I’m more than happy to follow whatever routines or rules you have in place, whether that means no human food at all or a few extra treats here and there. My goal is to make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I am currently working from home full time. This is great because I can take your dog on a quick walk around my apartment community about every 2-3 hours. There is also a small dog park, that is typically pretty empty, where we can play in the mornings and afternoons. I typically go to the gym/run for about an hour after work so that should be the only time your pet will be alone. On weekends I typically go for runs/walks at a local park that has a dog park, if you would like i can bring your pet into the dog park, but if you are not comfortable with that, thats ok! My apartment complex has a small dog park that is fenced off, and typically pretty empty, that I could bring your dog to. During the day your pet will be with me in my living room/kitchen area since that is where my desk is. Your pet is more than welcome to lay on my couch. At night they can stay in the living room or even join me in my room, if you would like me to crate your dog at nighttime that's totally up to you, I just ask that you provide a crate. And obviously I can send you small updates and photos of your dog is doing as often as you like!
