“This was my first time having my dog stay with someone other than a friend and I will admit I was quite nervous about giving him to a stranger so it was very important that both my boyfriend and I felt comfortable with who we chose. I usually leave him with friends and family but in this instance it was not working out so I looked into both Rover and DogVacay. After talking with a few different sitters, both my boyfriend and I felt most comfortable with Mereya. She responded very fast to all of my questions pre-booking, was very understanding of my concerns, and was very accommodating when it came to pick-up and drop-off times. Maverick stayed with her and her fiancee for about a day and a half while I traveled out of town and she texted me photo updates and videos a few times a day, which was very reassuring that my dog was having a blast. If I ever texted her, she was very quick to respond. Since he was there over the New Year, she even took a Polaroid New Year picture of him to take home, which I thought was an adorable idea. When I went to pick up my dog it became clear that he had a good time, as he ran away from me when he realized we were leaving and cemented himself to the couch. Overall, I would completely recommend her and if I ever run into a similar situation again I will definitely be sending my dog back to her and her fiancee. Maverick had a wonderful time staying with them and I would definitely feel comfortable with him going back. :)”

“My dogs have always been taken care of in my home, so I wasn't sure how they'd do staying at someone else's home with other dogs. But they had the time of their lives at Tracy's place! Tracy is awesome. She sent me so many photos of the dogs each day. It was very comforting. I had to extend my trip, and Tracy agreed to keep the dogs a few days extra. I'm about to book her for a second trip. If you love your dogs, definitely send them to Tracy! She's great.”

“Peter is the best!! We couldn't ask for a better person to board our dog with. Peter was very responsive and sent us plenty of photos of Rocky and how he is doing. Very quickly they became best friends! Peter takes them out on many adventures everyday from the beach and into the redwoods in addition to regular walks. His dogs are the sweetest and the home and area are very safe, dog proofed and friendly. I would recommend anyone looking for dog boarding to book with Peter for the best stay.
