About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. Since I was 12, it’s been my responsibility to take care of our English Setter. This began with me helping to train him. My role was to reinforce the lessons taught at the PetSmart classes. I’ve regularly walked, bathed, and taken to the vet our dog as well. I love animals of all kinds and care a lot about giving them the loving attention they deserve. I currently work part time 6 days a week, with Sundays off. I work from home, and regularly have mornings and early afternoons completely available. I have more than enough time for several appointments just about every day of the week. At the moment I do not own any pets, as my landlord does not allow it. I am unable to provide any services that would require my home. But I’ve lived with and cared for both dogs and cats my entire life, with great regularly since I was 12. I know what I’m doing when it comes to our furry companions. About: Growing up there was never really a time when I wasn’t surrounded by them animals. So I learned pretty early on how to properly take care of animals from my parents who used to foster them. I have walked, boarded, dog sat and etc for the last few years and have taken care of both senior pups to baby pups both big and small bred. Some breeds I have watched after are pitbulls, poodles, yellow labs, shitzu’s and a few others. Growing up with animals I have definitely grown a huge love and care for them and is one of my favorite things to do. When watching someone's animal I like to make sure I know all the rules, and any extra specifications they may have for their pet, like medications or any special daily tasks or notes. I also like to make sure I reassure the owners and let them know that they are leaving their pets in well-experienced hands by keeping them updated on everything as they’re away. I think what sets me apart from other sitters is my comfortability with animals whether they are huge or tiny and I think my love, truly caring, experience and availability also makes me an easier choice. And would be honored to help someone out with their pets! I’m currently working early mornings, Monday through Friday and have weekends off but because I work so early I’m able to take care and watch after pets during day till evening time As of right now, I’m unable to board pets at my place. But if I'm at the owner's house taking care their pets, I make sure to follow the instructions they left for me, as well as respect their home while I am staying in it. “This was truly an amazing experience. This was my first time using the app. This family is amazing. My dog is young and very energetic so he can be a lot, but they handled him very very well. They send lots of pictures and video, and my pup was almost sad to leave. I had the opportunity to meet them before hand and that was so great and i felt beyond comfortable leaving my dog with them. Would 100% recommend them to anyone and most definitely book again.”
“Joshua's in-home sitting for our two dogs was great! He has an obvious talent for working with and training dogs, even stubborn ones. Our dogs were well-kept, and enjoyed playing with his German Shepherd in his large backyard. All went well and our dogs are better behaved for their 5 days with Joshua. We highly recommend him!”
