“Ashley was terrific. Able to help out at the last minute. Prompt, responsible and best of all, our dog took to her immediately. It was the first time we left our rescue but could not have worked out better. Thank you.”

“Fran is great! She cared for our 4 pups with the utmost care and respect. She updated me as soon as she arrived. She sent me photos and gave me behavioral updates. Fran followed our directions for feeding, training and special care for our dogs. Fran also gave me an update as she was leaving to let me know how the visit went. Our dogs seem to really enjoy her company. When I arrived home, I could tell how appreciative our dogs were for Fran’s visit. They were quiet, calm, and acted like they had a fun day while I was at work. Fran is a kind, reliable, and honest animal sitter! Thank you so much, Fran”
“Rhianna is a great pet sitter. She is patient and kind with our shy cat. She keeps us informed how August is doing every day. We don’t worry about our cat when we are away from home.”

About: Taken care of my medium sized dog for ~6 years. I've cat sit for many of my neighbors, cats of various temperaments and health issues. I've also done senior care (mainly memory issues & food check ins), and am an Eagle Scout. Currently unemployed, so I'm quite open to any time for cat or dog care. Within normal day time hours preferred, but no real preference otherwise. I unfortunately cannot take your pet into my home. My dog has not been acclimated enough to other pets enough for comfort. I am more than willing to help in a place they're more comfortable with.

About: Hey there, thanks for visiting my profile! A little about me: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. I’m the kind of person who pays attention to detail and notices little changes in their behavior. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their person is away. I adopted my German Shepherd when he was about 6 months old. I was told he would need obedience training. Instead, I spent a lot of time learning, practicing, and working with him myself. He’s now able to sit and stay while I throw his ball and then wait for his release command before running after it. That took patience, consistency, and a lot of trust-building. Training my pupper taught me so much about working with dogs. I’m comfortable with pets who have big personalities, lots of energy, anxiety, quirks, or just need a little extra patience. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, respect your pet’s routine, and care for them like they are my own. I’m currently working occasional shifts, which gives me excellent availability for pet care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine whenever possible. Safety always comes first for me. I’m the type of person who will double and triple check important details, such as doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, and anything else needed to keep your pet safe. I take pride in creating a calm, safe environment for my own pets, and I would do the same for any pet in my care. Trust is a big part of letting someone care for your animals. Because of this, I am prompt, reliable, careful, and respectful of your home and your pet’s routine.

“Brooke was responsible with my two babies and took good care of them. They are used to being in their home environment with a lot of love and I know they received that.”

“Bekah has proven to be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. During my time away, Bekah regularly sent photos, and messages, which gives us peace of mind. Even my timid pet warmed up to her. Furthermore, she left my home clean, tidy, and secure. Any pet owner would be lucky to have Bekah look after their pets.”
“Samantha is a great pet sitter. She sent us detailed messages and pictures about the cats and how they were doing. She did everything as we asked for. Highly recommend her to be your pet sitter.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for about 5 years now, including pet sitting, house sitting, and drop-in visits. I’m comfortable with different temperaments, from energetic pups to shy or older pets. I always focus on keeping their routine consistent so they feel safe and happy. My schedule is flexible, and I’m committed to being reliable and on time. I’m available for regular visits, pet sitting, or last-minute bookings when possible, and I always make sure your pet’s routine is followed closely. I prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort by caring for them in their own home, where they feel most secure. I follow all care instructions closely, keep a clean and respectful environment, and make sure doors, gates, and routines are always handled with care. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.
“Robert was amazing. He's very sweet and attentive and JuJu loved him. When we returned everything was fine. Robert video chatted with us, sent video, and pics every day we were away. He let himself into our home and we had 0 issues! I would definitely book with Robert again and again!”

About: I am very conscientious and caring. I have owned and cared for a lot of different animals. I will put your mind at ease and will work with you for the top quality care of your pet. I have a wide open daily schedule. I am an early riser and very flexible to meet your needs. I have a horse I visit and want to fill the rest of my time helping others with pet care. I have experienced firsthand how hard it is to get someone you can trust to look after your furry family and realize it is a need in the community. I currently work with my own two dogs every day to ensure they get the exercise needed and make their dog food from scratch so they remain healthy. I understand that your pet needs interaction and breaks from being by themselves while you are away. Commercial pet boarding just doesn’t cut it and takes them out of their safe familiar environment. Raising their stress levels. They don’t need that in your absence. I can take that stress away and make some friends in the process.
“Titeara G. did an excellent job walking my dog, Coco. She was dependable, caring, and attentive, and Coco absolutely loved her! I highly recommend Titeara to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog walker.”

About: Not only do I have a strong love and passion for all animals, but I also have experience working with dogs of all kinds! I was employed with The Humane Society of Memphis and had the role of Canine Care Manager, which taught me a lot about animal behavior and care. I’m willing to take on a challenge and do it with a smile on my face! I currently have full weekday availability to give your fur babies all the playtime they could want or need! I help care for my stepdaughter once she’s out of school, so morning and early afternoon works best for my schedule. I’m willing to take and follow any instructions a client gives me on caring for their fur baby in their home, or going on walks! I typically use a slip lead leash for walks and if your doggy pulls, I can harness them with the slip lead leash to make sure the walk is comfortable for them. If you have a specific leash you’d like me to use I’m more than happy to!
“Danielle did a great job caring for our cats and fish. She was thorough, kind and very communicative. I appreciate her care for my pets, and plan to reach out to her again when we need pet sitting. Recommended!”

“Mackenzie was great. She was dependable and quick to respond to messages. She quickly won over both of our dogs, got the one who is cautious around new people to shake, and took a bunch of great photos. Very happy we found her!”

I’m reliable, responsible, and happy to follow any special instructions. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priority! Hi! I'm a freelancer with a flexible schedule, which means I can spend plenty of quality time with your pet. Your furry friend will never feel lonely — I’ll be there to give them the attention, care, and love they need while you're away. I have a large fenced backyard where your dog can play safely, and they'll also have a friendly Bichon Frise to keep them company! !
“Jennifer is the best. The dogs love her and she was very attentive. She sent me wonderful pics and communicated often. She had a family emergency during her sitting time, but still made sure my pups were taken care of. YES!!! I will use her again.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 339 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Eads. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eads. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
