“Morgan was amazing, she was very kind to my 2 catsand had a good understanding of their personalities and how to approach them. Very polite, friendly and easy to work with, clearly a kind hearted person who loves animals. Your fur babies will likely love and get along with her, definitely recommend and will use again. Thanks so much Morgan!”

“Marcus is amazing 🤩 my babies loved him. He’s very sweet and I felt very comfortable knowing he was taking great care of my babies. I will definitely be booking with him again.”

“Desiree is incredibly friendly and sweet. She took great care of my cat while we were out of town for a few days. She kept us updated with plenty of pictures and videos and was very communicative throughout. I’m so glad we found her on Rover!”

“Robert was amazing. He's very sweet and attentive and JuJu loved him. When we returned everything was fine. Robert video chatted with us, sent video, and pics every day we were away. He let himself into our home and we had 0 issues! I would definitely book with Robert again and again!”

“This was our second time hiring Rhianna while we were out of town for several days. She is so wonderful with both of our girls! They are each 2 years old, and they are so much happier staying home and having Rhianna visits rather than going to a boarding facility. I love getting updates during and after each of her visits, including pictures! It always eases my mind when I’m away. This time one of our dogs was on meds, and Rhianna was great handling the medicine plus food, water, and anything else they needed. She spends lots of time outside when the weather cooperates, and I love that for the dogs. I highly recommend hiring Rhianna for all your pet sitting needs. 😁🥰”

“So great! My pups fell in love immediately. Would use again and again. Last minute notice and they were lifesavers. Took awesome pictures which I love!”

“Whitney was kind and professional from start to finish. It was my first time leaving my cats and using Rover, and she was patient and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. I felt relieved about my cats after talking to her during her visit. I will definitely be using her services again and highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, so caring for pets isn’t just a job for me its second nature. I understand animal behavior, routines, and the little things that help pets feel safe and loved when their owners are away. I treat every pet like my own, with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection. Whether it’s playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking closely to their routine, I make sure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for at all times. I currently am not working. So I am trying to give all my time and energy and love to all the fur babies that I can’t In my home I have 4 cats and two dogs. They all have their own personalities but thankfully they all get along. We do one on one time so each fur babies gets love, treats and entrenchment. And then we will normal have time all together where we just relax and maybe take a nap.
“Titeara was AMAZING. She was like family to my babies. They were so comfortable with her, especially my shy one. She sent many updates and photos and even cleaned up behind them, without asking. She was great and made me being away care free. She was very respectful and treated my house as her own and my babies as her own as well. She is a blessing for sure.”

“Jaclyn was great with our dog. We had a last minute trip and had to quickly find someone to come let her out to potty, feed her and play with her some. She was communicative and gave us good regular updates on our dog after each visit. I have no complaints and can recommend her to anyone.”

“Stephanie was fantastic! She checked in on my boy, walked him, fed him, played with him, and sent me lots of updates and pictures! She gave him lots of love and attention, and he loved her! I wasn't worried about him at all while he was in her care. I definitely recommend Stephanie and will use her again when I need someone to watch my baby! ?”

“Nikaila was a fantastic pet sitter! She took amazing care of our dogs and left us photos and comments of her stay. We were so comforted to know our babies were in good hands!”

“This is our third or fourth time partnering with Jessie for our petcare while out of town. She is consistent, reliable and wonderful in her care for our animals. Her communication is solid, and she sends pictures after each care session. Our animals are in good spirits when we return. We will be glad to count on her again in the future.”

About: I have previous experience in dog, cat, and house sitting. I’ve had several pets throughout my life and all have lived long healthy lives in my care. I currently volunteer with House of Mews on a weekly basis. I have knowledge and experience in caregiving, bathing, and administering medicine. I follow directions well and will give your furry friend the best care possible. Currently working my own hours, so I am flexible and free to visit whenever you need me. If you have any special requests, just let me know and we can work out pricing. My home is unfortunately unavailable for boarding. But I’m comfortable taking care of pets in all types of environments and don’t mind traveling with them in my car if you’d like me to enrich their day at a dog park or on a nature trail.
“April is wonderful. She quickly won over my rescue who is anxious and very wary of new people. It is clear that April understands and loves dogs. I find her regular updates very helpful and reassuring. I appreciate the attention she gives my dogs during her visits, taking the time to sit with them and pet them, and that she monitors them when they are outside for bathroom breaks. I love coming home to happy dogs and peace of mind. Highly recommend April!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 35 plus years. Currently we all work hard to maintain our cat Cricket’s luxurious life of sleep treats eat and repeat. I also made quite a few animal friends as a Caregiver! With 10 years experience being a Housekeeper I had the privilege of meeting some special 4 legged family members who in turn I began to pet sit for. I’ve done lots of drop in visits for cats and dogs. Now that I’m a semi-empty nester with one child still in college I’d love to meet and help with your pet. Thanks for considering me! I’m currently a homemaker and volunteer with our church including Sunday School and a Kids church teacher. I have lots availability at the moment and openings for weekdays and weekends. My backyard is fenced and I have one indoor cat. I prefer to do drop ins or daily walks at this time weekdays and weekends.
“Sweet girl, took good care of our cat! She handled it like a champ even though my cat doesn’t like anyone outside of me. Hannah even taught me how to safely clip my cat’s nails which I hadn’t done since I usually had to sneak and do while she was asleep. LOL. Hannah did great and we’ll def use her again.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Brunswick
Desiree was amazing. This was our first time using Rover and having anyone other than family care for our two cats. Desiree was excellent in every way. Her communication was great and her picture taking was so helpful to let us know our kitties were happy and doing well. We have one cat that takes medicine twice a day and Desiree was great at keeping that cat on his schedule. He is also a bit shy but within a couple visits Desiree had him eating treats out of her hand. I appreciated how proactive she was with the care of our kitties. I’d highly recommend her services.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
