About: I’ve always had pets since I was a toddler. I’ve always took care of my pets, my grandparents pets & I’m really good with animals. I’m usually always available! I’m self employed and do instacart, doordash, Rover, Uber, Uber Eats, etc so I can usually fit anything into my schedule! I have a yard. (It’s not fenced in yet, working on it.) I’m a huge animal person so your animals will always be well taken care of & loved in my care.
About: Ever since I was little I have had an overwhelming love for all animals. No matter where I go I am constantly pointing out an animal, asking its owner more about them, and stopping to pet them! I have grown up with/had dogs my entire life. I have also been pet sitting for friends and neighbors since I was a teenager. During these years I have cared for many animals with different personalities and needs. My own dogs are definitely quirky and I understand that every dog is different and deserves personalized care. I also provide daily medications for my dogs, so I am very used to following specific routines and comfortable giving pets the extra care they may need. I will always treat your animals with love and patience, while, of course, giving them lots and lots of attention. Animals are family! My daily schedule is flexible because I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree online, while allows me to build my schoolwork around a consistent routine. Being that I have plenty of flexibility throughout my day, this provides ample time for dog walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention and care they deserve. In every environment, I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort. I really enjoy learning about dogs and am constantly researching their behaviors and body language. I believe understanding how a dog communicates is such an important part in taking care of them. I always take the time to get to know each dog’s unique personality, energy level, and individual cues so I can better understand how they are feeling and make them comfortable around me. My dogs in my own home are truly part of the family and are very spoiled and pampered. I make sure they receive lots of attention, love, and enrichment, and I take their comfort and happiness very seriously. Caring for my own pets, for my whole life, has taught me how important it is to notice the little things and truly understand animals. When caring for pets in other people’s homes, I follow their routines and instructions closely and treat their home and belongings with the same respect I would my own. I am always mindful of keeping any doors and gates secure, providing plenty of supervision and attention, and making sure each pet gets the exercise, interaction, and care they need. My goal is for every pet I take care of to feel just as loved, comfortable, and well cared for as the animals in my own home.
About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm and summer months off. I am currently a part time Binghamton University graduate student studying for a masters degree in early childhood special education. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. I have a white pitbull fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. I work M-F through a nearby school, being able to provide supervision to animals while I am home. About: My Roomate and I have been working with dogs our whole lives. We both work full time at doggy daycares as managers. I also have experienced in working with farm animals as well. We want to eventually open our own doggy daycare and thought that this was the best way to get started. We have experience in bathing, nail trimming, administration of medication and supervising large play groups between 5 to 60 dogs by ourselves. Including dogs of all sizes and temperaments. We have 2 dogs and a cat of our own. We take pride in providing a sweet loving environment for every dog and making sure every dog receives the needs personalized to them. We would love to meet your fur babies and give them a fun time to enjoy their vacation just as much as you enjoy yours. We look forward to hearing from all of you. We are available for drop ins, walks and overnight boarding in our home from Friday nights to Tuesday mornings. During the time that your pet is with us we will be home with them 95% of the time to make sure they get the love and attention that they deserve. walkers on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
